The fairways were a bit dry when we went. Typical mountain course so when there is a drought the course suffers. The tee boxes and greens are watered so are in pretty good shape. Challenging course. Looking forward to playing it again

The great hidden valley golf course in the Taos / Angel Fire NM area. Golfing in the high mountains of New Mexico. What a great way to spend the day.

Very quaint and peaceful location. Wish the golf course stayed open longer, but just closed for the season. Beautiful fall colors of the aspens.

Horrible golf course. The fairways are just weeds cut short, and are loaded with prairie dogs, and deep holes. The tee boxes are small and uneven. The greens are mostly sand and very small. We played 5 holes and quit. They gave us half money back, as I requested. Dont waste your time with this place!

I love this 9 hole course, its quiet as it is located in a private housing area, but you can rent or bring your own clubs. The club house offers a small menu but the food is good

Awesome course. We played right after a storm and the course played very well. Laid back atmosphere and challenging layout. Greens were immaculate.

We didnt golf but visited the clubhouse/bar/deli. This was our second time here, the first time the staff was very friendly. This time felt like we werent welcome or belonged. I guess if you dont actually live in Valle Escondido you dont get that neighborhood hi, hows it going kind of welcome. Its a real shame to feel that way, its not that hard to be friendly. The gal behind the bar seemed annoyed if you asked or inquired about anything. Will rethink stopping in again and I dont feel comfortable recommending to my friends.

A goat track of a course. Called weeks in advance for a tee time. Was told that this Is a small local place and no need. Explained the day and time that it was a holiday weekend in the morning. Dont worry it fine. We drove almost an hour from Toas to walk into the club house. The guy running it ignored us for about 10 minutes and then when I finally had to interrupt him he said sorry we have a tournament. Explained everything about the previous phone call and the guys was just a prick. Ended up driving back into Taos, called the other course in town Taos Country Club and was able to get a tee time and had honestly the best golf experience ever. The people were great, the course was beautiful dont waste your time at this place....Head to the Taos Country Club....only 20 dollars more

Very nice course in the mountain valley with great views. A few challenging holes with well maintained greens on all holes.

BEST NEIGHBORHOOD EVER!! But they complain that we snowmobile on the golf course in the the winter just because we have two trailers full.... but its not us.
