What an elegant historic building. Ive been to Centro Asturiano several times for different events and each time I notice a unique feature. The building was recently updated and its absolutely impressive.From the intricate woodwork to the elegant chandeliers. The Centro Asturiano is sure to impress.I have attended several High Tea parties that were sponsored by local organizations and put together by those that attended. Each one was a wonderful experience and something I look forward to in the future.My most recent visit I was invited to participate in an evening of Drag Queen Bingo. It was absolutely hilarious and a fun filled way to spend time. My only complaint was the fact that the event was scheduled from 7pm to 10pm and we were completely finished by 8:15. I dont think it had anything to do with the planning of the Centro Asturiano, I believe it was the entertainer/bingo caller/Drag Queen. However, a good time was had.I would most certainly recommend attending an event here and I think holding an event at the Centro Asturiano would be something neither you or your guests would soon forget.

A great fest every year! The prices for most items were unreasonably expensive and good tasting. Parking is challenging although there is a free lot.

We were at the Second Annual Latin Food Festival. The Cuban Sandwich Festival was Lit! We walked around and got a taste of great Latin Food.

Was very nice. I recommend getting more seating for eating.

It was a great historic venue with crystal chandeliers and marble floors. The acoustics were great and the seats were comfortable, red velvety cushioned! Impeccably clean also. Bar was fab all marbled up. Good service too.

This is a beautiful theater, only the hard seats keep it from 5 stars. The acoustics make up for it though. We sat in the balcony and the sound was awesome! I hope they bring in more musical acts

I will recommend to anybody that plan to go to Ybor City to schedule a visit to the Centro Asturiano, you will be rewarded with a magnificent sample of how the cigar workers of the 19 and 20 century entertain themselves, and how important was the Club as a part of their social, entertaining, and whole life. The building is a architect jewel of that era, its history is fascinating.

Went to the Todd Snyder show/ WMNF benefit here. It is a beautiful theater. The acoustics here were great! I hope more acts start booking this venue.

Historical theater with small seats but great ambiance! Walton Academy for the Preforming Arts used it for the Play Lion King Jr.

This place is beautiful! The bar is made from one of the most unique & gorgeous marble stone I have ever seen. Words do not do it justice. A must see if you are into old buildings. :)

Attended the Feztival of Trees and it was fun. Just make a $2 donation to the Shrines club and buy some tickets for 50 cents each and drop your tickets in the box next to the tree of your choice! Many wonderful trees and gifts to choose from. If you win you get everything associated with that tree, even the tree itself! Plus all the gifts under the tree and all gifts on the tree.

What a beautiful theater! Our homeschool theater company, DeArmon C.A.S.T. performed here for two nights with live music, choir, ballet and dramatic theatre. This was the perfect place for The Hiding Place.

We went there tonight for the Feztival of Trees by the Shriners. Thanks to Charlie Belcher from FOX 13 News who advertised, I was finally able to go into this beautiful building with such a historic past. Only gave 5 stars because we were not able to visit the whole place.

If this was where the Saturday portion of the Cuban sandwich Festival was, yes I was there but it is nothing that would excite me for any reason and I have lived in the Tampa Bay area for over 50 years which is my entire life and I have never seen this location before. I only thank God that I went there late in the morning till approximately 1 pm. The neighborhood is sketchy and I actually had a homeless person sleeping directly beside my car. 3 people asked me if I could spare change, two people asked if they could help me walk to my car and one asked if he could wash my car when we got to it. If I was in this area in the evening time I would have two guns, one gun for protection and the other gun for if the first gun stopped working or I ran out of bullets. Beware.

Very nice. Went there with my students for a Spain, flanco dance show and they loved it. There was an interactive session where they got to perform on stage for one of the songs.

This historical building is beautiful. Full bars available for your event. The restrooms off the ballroom are nicely modern. There is a cigar room on the main floor that adds a definite ambiance (smell) that harkens back to an older, gentler Tampa.

Very historical building and one of the most amazing Alabaster bars in the world.

It is small for the event that I attended, but I love the fact that I could enjoy the show so much, no seat is a bad seat. The food options were very limited and the bar was a mess, slow and run out of drinks literally....

Huge. My aunt had her 50th birthday party here and it was awesome. Will be using for future parties. Staff amazing, security guards were very respectful for what they do but will handle any situation right. Very please.

Historic chic. Tall ceilings and decorations you can feel the history. If walls could talk you can imagine all the stories they could tell.

Food was great and hot when served and ample portions. The ambiance was nice and the people that attended was friendly and conversive.

I really enjoyed my tour of this historical building! I am excited for the opportunity to run a Halloween Event at a location with so much paranormal activity! Please support small business and come out to the Big Cat Rescue ScareFestival!
