My daughter did 4 weeks of summer camp with Making Light Productions and had the best time. They were totally on top of CDC guidelines and went above and beyond to make camp safe. Not a single kid or staff person got sick. She loved camp so much we have signed up for classes in the fall. So grateful for this business!

I would never have known what an incredible voice my beautiful daughter has, if it werent for MandI Broadfoot, co-founder of MLP. Sloan was taking piano lessons, and Mandi started having her sing to the music. Along the way, she discovered Sloan is a singer!!! This talent discovery gave my daughter so much confidence. Moreover, she gained a group of friends who arent just a team of performers; theyre extended family.The people who established Making Light did it with a big vision in mind. Its not just to master a craft. Its about building a community of kids who treasure friends of all abilities, skin colors, shapes, and sizes. Making Light is the place to bring your kids! The music lessons are fun and the teachers really help the kids progress! You should definitely try them out!

We have had nothing short of a wonderful experience at Making Light. My kids loved the day camp and we have really enjoyed the private music lessons. The quality of instruction is excellent. The owners are very responsive to emails and communication is prompt. We appreciate the inclusiveness of the program and that kids of all abilities are placed together to learn from and with each other.

We love Making Light! The staff is so friendly and knowlegable! My son is doing so well and loves taking piano lessons and theater classes. The acceptance of all abilities is great all the way around. All children learn from each other. The staff meets the child where he/she is. Making Light is not just a place for my daughter to attend classes in singing and acting. The instructors, students and parents are a support group and when you walk through the door you know that you have entered a place that is full of encouragement, love and talent where each child is encouraged to be their best. We are blessed to be a part of the MLP family!!

A safe community for kids with all abilities and interests. Our kids are repeatedly eager to attend their day camp, during school breaks, as well. Staff are always kind and appropriate, demonstrating a genuine care for the children participating.

My children thoroughly enjoy their experience at MLP. We have taken acting, musical theater, vocal, piano, dance, drums, and set design. The ability to learn all aspects of theater while learning to support and interact with children of all abilities is the true beauty of the MLP program. Highly recommended!

I am biased because I work here but this is literally a dream come true for me and a place for my autistic daughter to thrive. Its more than a place to get lessons; its a community of families with similar interests and staff that cares about your child being successful and having fun.

Terrible experience!! Theatre instructor yelled at my 7 year old daughter. My daughter cane back crying and said she didnt want to go back. They also change the lock code on the door and dont tell you so good luck getting your kids back. Overall the most disorganized aweful group. There are so many better options
