Good, hilly, medium sized public park with hiking/running trails, basketball courts, playground and ball field. Limited public parking - the only I could find is at the corner of South Fife st and 58th.

Very nice and spacious place to have a family reunion or birthday celebration. Restroom were very clean. Plenty of parking.Trash can for your hot charcoals

Good during the day but gets rowdy in the later hours.Great for bbq birthdays and just taking the kids out. They have a basketball court. Lots of bigtoys and a spray park Seasonally.

I go over there and play basketball almost every day they have good basketball hoops

This is a pretty interesting Park as far as theres a great amount of trail walking space just bring your friend a dog and possibly a weapon LOL whats here is a very nice walking trail which Macys Works through Wapato Hills definitely a Great Wok and definitely fresh air blows here which is surprising being the last of the uncut Forester wilderness. Tell me how the strange overtone of Wapato Hills ever got that way I dont know

Nice big park. They hold alot of events.

Lovely wildlife preserve in the city with a nice view on the hill. There is also a large grassy play area and regular restrooms. Do be aware some of the wildlife are meth-heads. They mostly habitat the Northeast area on side trails. If this worries you just stay on the designated paths and youll be fine.

Super fun they have swings, slides, splash park, basketball, and flying swings. The kids had a blast

Amazingly, the Tacoma Fire Department was able to control and put out the brush fire saving the local neighborhood from disaster!

One of my favorite parks...its small, has the big toy w/swings & slide for kids; water sprinkler park but was off today; ball field for baseball or kickball; no grill area but u can bring & setup ur own; there are restrooms & theres a trail to walk as well as a sidewalked area around park to stroll if u want. Sits in middle of a neighborhood & is quiet. The downside is the residents in neighborhood petitioned for permit parking so u cant park in front of the park, u have to park on the side street which is a very steep hill & pkg can be very limited on wkends. Otherwise its a great little park...oh bring ur own chairs & tables & maybe shade becuz its pretty open.

Great loop trail, off-leash dog park, picnic tables, benches, grass lawns, bathrooms. It has a lot. Would like to see a complete loop dirt/soft-surface trail, but there are still a lot of dirt & gravel trails that are mostly flat.

There was no transients no druggies hanging around. Amazing playground with ample benches and picnic tables line the outside of playground. With plenty of shade a little simple spay park. The restrooms were clean and stocked the basketball court is lined by large cherry trees. And average of beautiful green grass with hiking trails directly behind the ball court

Too many homeless people live in the woods and have littered trash all over. Otherwise its a nice park. Just wish it was cleaner

This park has an appealing playground for kids of all ages. My toddlers love going down the different slides and climbing up all the ladders.

Great place, paved mile loop , and trails

This place has trails you can walk, fields to throw and catch whatever, basketball court, big toy area, covered area, and small water park area. Should be something for everyone, if youre not too picky.

I wish I could give this 5 stars since I live right next to it but I cannot. There are junkies living throughout the park and they leave their trash and needles wherever they fall. Aside from that it is a beautiful park, especially in the summer.

Very cute park... Great for a day to Chill, grill, and playing kick ball. They have a bathroom, lil water that shoots out of ground..Walking or riding trail.

The park is nice enough. Its tucked into a neighborhood and even though l am a life long resident of Tacoma l wasnt aware of the park. Looks like it has a spray park in summer. There are basket ball hoops, a few picnic tables,and walking paths of which we took one. It took us on a gravel path up into a natural area for about a mile and a half walk. Apparently there has been loiterers and some bad elements in and around the park so there is parking by permit only which you have to aquire through the park department prior to your visit.

I love this park. There are trails to walk, basketball hoops, a water attraction for summer time. There are restrooms, water fountains, soccer field, swings, large slides and many fun toys to play on.

This is a nice neighborhood friendly park surrounded by beautiful trees with lots to do for children and adults. The trails are fun to hike as well.

Get place for basketball two full size courts, very small splash park, descent playground with a few new things added this spring, theres a track around the whole park and lots of space for field sports oh and a few grills

Restrooms need to be open at least until 6:00pm.Nce park to hang out but be aware that they close the restrooms early. I was out and above trick or treating and I had to use the restroom and it was around 6 pm when I noticed that the restrooms was already close. Other thaat this is an amazing clean park. Me and the kids love it.

When your walking the trails it feels as if your in the middle of no where, it feels as if its secluded an not in the middle of the city.

This is one of the many jewels of the Tacoma Metro Parks system! Literally out my back door and filled with fruit bearing trees! We spend almost every night walking the trail after dinner! Not huge,but gorgeous! Only takes at most 45 mins to do the whole trail with 80% shade coverage!

Clean and my grandkids enjoy it...Bummer, Nice hot day and the water are was shut down. Kids were upset.

Spray ground was basic, with a few broken spouts. One of the toys is missing two of the three seats.

With all the snow we have had, this place has plenty of hill space to sled and with te street closed the danger adrenalin seekers long icey concrete hill. Fun if you are safe.

Nice little park and close to the police station, if you need help. Officers are very friendly, too.

Cute, quiet little park. Theres a waking trail adjacent thats beautiful. Couple of Pokemon gyms. Restrooms, playground etc. Very clean

A nice park with walking trails,basketball courts baseball diamond and a soccer field. It also bosts 2 public restrooms....I was there on a nature walk with friends and family had a great time, saw alot!

Wapato Hills Park is pretty cool to bbq and hang out if u got kids send them to the park there are tons others all its missing is clean bathrooms

Great walking paths, police nearby, safe park and they have Pokémon after dark. You can walk around the whole lake on these really neat paths. Have not had any interaction with weirdos and not enough bathrooms .

So this is a hole in the wall park, surprisingly considering how big it is. The playground even has a spray ground for when the weather warms up. Highly recommend for the playground for kiddos and the easy hiking trails throughout.

The water part needs to be revised its not a lot of water anymore.
