I went over there after work on the evening of Oct 7th, 2020 and saw a couple people throwing discs. One was throwing across the field and another was using the basket near the picnic table by the fence. I looked around for the course and other baskets but couldnt see any within plain view. I walked over to the man practicing on the basket and he informed me that the only one left was the one he was using and the remaining three had been removed. So for all intents and purposes, the course no longer exists and the only thing that remains is a decent field and a practice basket.I stayed for about an hour and a half and witnessed a dog walker and some people riding ATVs around the baseball field on the other end but other than that, there was nobody else around.Parking wasnt an issue either with ample street parking and no one else around so if youre looking for a quiet place to practice throwing some discs around, it works!

This is a well placed neighborhood park. It is close to a school, bus line and families.Oddly, it has disc golf (which is why I visited). To that end, it is disappointing. In fact, MPT has no respectable DG courses (luckily there is Ft. Steilacoom...the best course in the state). However, Roosevelt Park can provide a decent practice area for DG. From the street there are several long drives you can make to the only visible basket. From there you can make several more challenging holes to the other three baskets

Park is maintained with the bare minimum, mowing, nothing more. Not the safest looking neighborhood either although we had no issues while there for 40 minutes or so around 3pm. Disc golf baskets are laid out strangely with no visible tees or basket numbers. Decent for basic throwing practice though. Id be afraid of broken glass in the dirt tbh.

Nice because the clean and sober house across the street was a great distraction from whatever you might be up too

Its a great little neighborhood park, its just a big field of grass, good for walks and ball games. It would be nice if there was a little more to do here but it is pretty clean and it would be nice if the doggy bags were restocked. Im just waiting for the city of Tacoma to freaking repave the roosevelt Avenue since they did all the other surrounding streets.

No playground. Poor parking. Buses stop right near parking area further limiting parking. But love the trees in the lower field. Kids can climb all over them.

Only 5 baskets which are nice, but no real tee pads or markings. More of a practice course with a baseball field and a few picnic tables with a walking path.
