Everybody is always super nice here! Theres a basketball court, a baseball field, a water park, and a play structure for the kids to enjoy. Theres a ton of open room. I always enjoy taking my dog. theres always a ton of other dog walkers, some with them on the leash some with them not. Ive never had an issue with any of the lovely dogs Ive ever met. This park is really nice with massive fields, that arent always being utilized to the fullest. Its always really fun watching the dogs play fetch off leash, And having a fantastic time. The people at the park are also very! 8 years ago I met one of my best friends in the whole world at this park! R. I. P. Brian

Jefferson Park is a huge grassy field with scattered trees and amenities. There are two baseball diamonds, three tennis courts, basketball court, kids playground, restrooms and an elaborate trail system. This park is rarely crowded and is popular with dog owners. It is blessed with ample street parking and dozens of specimen trees.

Great park, very quiet, tons of space for walking, huge fields for running and playing. Kid play area is nice with some big toys and swings, but no slides (best for age 5+). There is a small splash park, which is very refreshing in the summer. There are three (3) tennis courts and two (2) baseball/softball fields. One of the Tacoma hidden gems. Never any riffraff or sketchy characters looming.

I would give this place another star but overnight on the west side of the park people often park to sleep there overnight. Its a big park with separate, soccer field, a baseball field, and tennis courts. Back in the day there used to be a pool here but now its what they call a spray park. There is also typical playground equipment.

Its a nice park, as far as Ive been able to tell its very clean. The playground is good for most ages. You can play tennis and baseball there. Theres a walking trail. The only trouble I find is that the bathrooms are only opened seasonally. Im a school bus driver, so the random time that I stopped there, hoping to use the restroom, I couldnt. But its a nice park. I would take my kids there.

This park is impressively clean and well maintained in a quiet, cute neighborhood. I took my fur baby on a quick walk through this park today and it was definetly relaxing! Theres an OK-sized playground for children, a basketball hoop and half size court (I think?). HUGE open grass thats so green you just want to roll around in it. The trail that wraps throughout the park was perfect distance in my opinion, big trees provide a good amount of shade on some parts of trail. I did notice public restrooms in a small building located in middle of park, I did not use them though so i have no comment on the cleanliness/ maintenance yet. No doubt, i will be making Jefferson Park apart of my daily adventures with my pup!!

Big park, lots of open space. Splash park for the kids. It got 3 stars mostly because I go to parks with my 2 kids for the playsets. The playset here could only have been designed for a handicapped monkey. I cant figure out what any single part of it is actually for.

This is a suprisingly quiet park thats nestled in the center of one of Tacomas older city neighborhoods of well kept older homes bordering the streets that overlook the park. This little park has a lot to offer, an annex building that provides a veriety of programs for all ages, a ballfield, tennis court, playground and walking/running trail that circles around a good part of the parks attractions. This is a dog friendly park, the neighbors visiting this park are friendly and courteous. I am always at ease when visiting this family, friendly park.

Lots of open space, paved walk and playground (and spray/water fun park during the summer) for the wee ones. The only down side is there is a lot of poop left behind by dog owners. Sad, really. There are a lot of responsible owners, but they get out paced by the flow of left behind dog bombs. Scan the field before frisbee, rugby or other play on the grass.
