My girlfriend and I spent 4 hours here. It was Fathers Day, so a little more crowded from what I remember. It was pleasant and clean (there were signs of a past celebration - nothing major). Beautiful scenery and a gorgeous day!

Cool little park in Tacoma. I liked the water view here and the shrine was pretty neat. Not many people around so it was a nice cute little park to spend some time with my girlfriend.

Very nice to let the kids run around , up and down the little hills with out having to stay 1 foot away. Just a nice spot to walk with out having the ROAD 5 ft away.

Our go-to kayaking put-in! Nearby parking, level pathway, mostly hard and clean sand accessible at all states of the tide. Paddle along the waterfront to Point Defiance or Thea Foss waterway. Seals, seabirds and watering holes!

Only negative is the lack of a water fountain , and the cage is only open in the late spring to early fall. Some of us walk year round.

Lovely park with a terrible message, especially in the current Era of racism and xenophobia, had no idea what monsters our town folks had been. Its a decent setting with water views, benches and landscaping. Needs more parking on a hot summer day, and I dont believe there are bathrooms very near by.
