Nice park with lots of shady grass. There are smooth asphalt paths and basketball courts. Baseball field and a picnic area with a wooded hill on the edge. This place is somewhat out of the way, I had no idea it was in my neighborhood. A few signs of homeless activity and some tents in the woods but no real problem with vagrants or trash or anything like that. Franklin Park is dog friendly too! Great place to findy a shady spot on a hot day.

Id say this park is fun and free and everyone seems really nice in their own way and keep to themselves. Plus the animals are cute. Great place to just take a walk and work out and theres this hideaway for where you can be by yourself and just look at the top of the school building and lay there. Its very fun. Also you might be able to get on one of the lime scooters and ride away. And theres also pizza places and walmart is just around the corner if you get hungry. Just come to this park and youll also love it like i do :))

Ive lived in the area almost all my life and grew up in this park. its much nicer now that they have removed the old tennis courts and created a splash park for the kids. An above comment said there was fishing at this park. No there is not. That is Delong Park that has a pond. Please do not spread misinformation. It is really the only reason I made this review.

We love Franklin Park! Its a great size with space for both little and big kids to play and it also has a splash pad that you can turn on. There are also a lot of benches and good visibility so as a parent you can watch you kids play easily. We usually let our 2 year old play and to help the transition from playing to going home we like to walk the trail around the park. Weve had fun picking blackberries this summer. Definitely thankful its our neighborhood park.

My son and I went today to enjoy a sunny day at a water park. Thankfully this park is free and theres lots of shady spots to get out of the sunshine. The spray park is small but still fun! The playground is decent sized. Watch young kids closely the slide is really high and no barrier to stop a fall. Overall it was a fun experience and I recommend you check it out!

This a great park for family fun and even a barbecue. Ride your bike around and you can even get in your free throw with a couple of buddies. This park also has a little water park for kids, mainly a sprinkler park that kids can run around in and cool off on a hot summers day. You can do all kinds of family functions here. If you need more info just call the park service.

This continues to be a decent park in the area. They have maintained/improved it over the last 10 years. It has some large areas of open grass, baseball field, basketball court, play area with adjacent restrooms(not always open). Bring your own canopy because theres only one covered eating area.

I live in Life Manor retirement apartments. Room faces the park. I overlook the garden area and love the view. So many people walk the trail, school kids train for track and football. Summer brings outings and picnics with the joy of childrens laughter. Its a beautiful, well kept park and has so much to offer.
