ABSOLUTELY breathtaking!! I love this place!! My fiance and I love going down to the waterfront for evening walks. We need to do it more often. Its an amazing place to just sit and talk. Watching the water and the ships makes everything seem so much more simple.Tonight we saw 2 military helicopters over the water. It was a really cool scene. (June 17,2020)

Interesting, site of a former lumber mill. Some of the foundation still exists in the water. Connected to the Ruston Way linear park/trail.

Its a wonderfull place and so close by. It begins at Reconciliation park and continues on to Ruston Point, the ferry terminal and Point Defiance. So many good places to eat and very family friendly.

I love this whole part of Tacoma.. this little park has a couple of picnic tables and both a concrete walking area and small gravel beach bonus for kayaks with its easy launch area.

While it is pretty to be by the water it was not a relaxing walk with my 4 month old due to the road noise. The park is clean and well kept, some homeless around. I did not feel safe near the pagoda creepy vehicles and the underbrush near the walkway made me uncomfortable walking with the stroller. The park is better for jogging but be aware of surroundings

Love coming down here and walking by the water to find mermaid treasures, such as sea glass and shells. I enjoy bringing my kids down here to explore the beaches and get to know the sea life! Its a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of reality and take some deep breaths of fresh sea air. Not too far from the city, but enough of a retreat to find your peace!

The Dickman Mill is a rare example of post-industrial wetland restoration that is easily accessible. Birds, seals, occasionally an otter can be seen from the boardwalk and adjacent beach. Accessible toilets are nearby.
