Amazing experience! The staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable about the animals! We did the otter encounter and got to feed and pet all the animals they had there :) I will be recommending this to friends. Although some may think it is a bit pricey ($50 for the otter encounter) it was worth it in my opinion and I would do it again!!!!

My husband and I made a last minute stop here on our last day in Seattle. We had a BLAST! It was all outside, and we had the freedom and option to wear masks. The employees are passionate about their animals as they are all well cared. Max the bird was the funniest, he took a liking to my husband and didnt want him to leave. Highly recommend for couples and families.

Although this zoo is located in a strip mall, they clearly take good care of their animals and it is clean inside. Ive come here twice to see the otters and they are the cutest thing Ive ever laid eyes on. The animals spend most of their time at a farm nearby so they arent confined to the zoo space. It is so fun to interact up close with a huge variety of interesting animals, I will always make the trip out!

I took my kid here and we both had a wonderful time. Its like a zoo but you get to touch the animals! Will definitely be going again soon. Spring for the farm tickets it is worth the extra $10 to hop the shuttle to the farm and check out the animals there. The baby Giraffe is Awesome. You can easily spend 3-4hrs here without getting bored.

If you are concerned about your families safety right now because of Covid— I don’t recommend visiting this place. Despite what the website says about maintaining a 6 foot social distancing protocol— the employees were all getting right up next to us and none of them was wearing a mask. We had to keep yanking our daughter away from the employees and even though we were loudly reminding her to keep her distance, to keep employees safe, they did not take the hint. And one actively scoffed and rolled her eyes at the idea. We did not feel safe and ultimately ended up leaving pretty quickly. If it weren’t for Covid I think this would be a pretty fun place to visit— but I just wanted to put this review out there for other families who are concerned about staying safe during that pandemic.

Had a great time petting and feeding all of the animals! This was our first visit so next time Ill be sure to call ahead and make sure there are ponies for rides, but even without a pony ride we had a great time! This was something that was great for my 7 year old and I to do on an afternoon where we had nothing else to do. It was so nice to be surrounded by so many types of different animals!

My children and I had a great time seeing and petting the different animals here. The staff was very friendly and informative about the animals. It was pretty clean there for as many animals as they have running around so I was happy for that because my 1 year old LOVES to put things in her mouth (yikes!!) I wish they were a bit bigger as it was pretty busy there and there were a lot of people. Overall my children and I had a great time and will definitely go back to pet the sweet animals (the boar was a little insisting for food so be careful)

My sister and I took our niece and nephew to Debbie Doolittles and had the best time! We stayed til they closed. The only thing we didnt like was the lettuce cups for $5, was way too much.... All of us being animal lovers were highly impressed with how well the animals are treated and how friendly and knowledgeable the staff is! $10 a person (under 2 free) is a little pricey for the size of the place. Little cups of lettuce are $5 each and I would highly recommend getting one because that’s half the experience. We got there right as they opened and within 40 minutes, you couldnt hardly walk in the petting area. (Maybe limiting number of people in petting area to 20 or so would help)Out back they had free face painting ( tips appreciated) ! Some of the best we have had!!! 3 hours later it still looks amazing. They have a nice slide, and several yard games!we had a good time and enjoyed our visit, and would pay to come again!Thank you for having a military discount as well!

Although I was excited about bringing my girls here, I was shocked by how aggressive the animals were and was not even warned of this when I told the cashier its our first time coming. No one told us until after we got bombarded by goats that they recognize the white cups we hold the lettuce in. Some of these goats were as big as my 4 and 5 year old and jumping on them for this lettuce. We barely lasted an hour but paid a 10 dollar cover charge for myself and the 4 little girls I brought. The caretakers seemed to care less about having visitors and mostly stood on the sidelines talking to each other or looking disgusted when the kids were freaked out by the animals jumping on them. A little guidance for first-timers would have been nice. Cute little spot though, I may try it again one day.

I cant say enough good things about this place! I absolutely love it. I have been there twice so far this summer, and will be returning again soon. This will be my go to trip to take kids on, especially if they havent been. I did do the otter and sloth encounter the first time, the sloths were a cool experience but kind of boring compared to the otters. The otters are absolutely precious. They chewed up my shoelaces. The indoor petting zoo part is great. The first time I went, the goats were inside with all the other animals, and theyre little brats who will steal lettuce from the other animals youre trying to feed. The second time I went, they had the goats in an enclosed area outside, so it was easier to feed the wallabies and capybaras.I went to the farm both times via the shuttle they provide. The shuttle driver is awesome, and so is the whole farm experience. I had my 4 yo daughter with me, and while I felt she was safe the entire time, I wouldnt recommend letting a child hold the cups of lettuce, or they will get ganged up on by goats. I would hand her one piece at a time. I had the best luck by placing the cup in my purse so the goats dont know I have it, and just reaching in and pulling out a little bit. They really stuff those cups full.

Unique place to visit, with lots of different animals like otters, wallaby, a sand cat, and a baby yak, but dominated by goats and the creepy llama. Cups of lettuce to feed the animals were $5 (on top of admission...a bit much if you ask me) but place was kept very clean considering its full of pooping, peeing animals! My favorite was the coati and capybaras. Staff were all friendly, and helped our girls hold some fun reptiles. Only things would make this better is maybe some signage describing the animals (native habitats, given names, whatever) and some learning/playing activities for the kids in the area outside of the animals (like animal costumes to dress up in)-- It got crowded when we were there and would have been nice to have something to do (play area) away from the craziness, and to have an excuse to stay longer and get our moneys worth.

What a great place to be:)We petted every living creature except for the snakes, the workers did not let us(one star off, lol). It was great, we recommend going to everyone, its really fun. Kids loved it, we spend there 2 hours?!However, if u go there like we did, after church, bring something to change into, cause it gets dusty and a bit peepee here and there, so u may step in it in fancy shoes...The goats are great! They loooove kids, my kiddos been called goat whisperers, specially my son. Our family growing hair for donation, and they chew out a great piece of my sons hair (whisperer right), omg!!! So, ponytails everyone !:)))Loved African Send Cat, he is very smart, fast, wild. We have Bengals they are pretty special, different from domesticated cats, but this one is super wild. But ot in a bad way, he was sweet. They said its like 10 of them in US, so thats rare experience to pet that kitty:)

Great place with lots of animals to see and pet. Was here for a party, the party room could use a gate or something to keep out random people from wandering in. Its hard for people to differentiate the party room from the other activities going on. They see tables and chairs available and just wander in. We eventually had to place a sign and the garbage can in the entryway to deter people who werent in our party. Animals, face painting, and a Disney princess weekend made the place VERY busy, but still very fun.

The indoor petting zoo was small, but very clean. Some of the animals (goats and sheep) are big bullys and steal the food you are trying to give to the other animals by jumping up on you and your kids. They should probably rotate some of these animals out because they are pretty overweight. The reptile section was by far the favorite for everyone, and I did get to hold a snake. I guess it was a good one-time experience. But wouldnt do it again (overpriced for what it is).

It certainly is an experience. My kids loved it because they got to pet and feed the animals. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. The play structure in the back is fun for kids of all ages. I give this place only 1 star because these animals should not be caged indoors. They should be outside with more room and less contact. The animals are probably use to it, but it was very overwhelming with such a small enclosure combined with 20 or so animals and people petting/feeding and running around. My fiance and I brought our three year old daughter here and she loved it! I give it 4 stars because of the well thought up atmosphere if you cannot travel to the actual zoo this is a great and indoors alternative, we paid 60.00 for two adults and a child and was not the full experience. for another 10.00 each you can be taken by shuttle to the farm which we did not do because of the cost which brings me to the negative side, for the price we paid for the basic visit we could have went to the point defiance zoo which we decided against because of weather. Overall I recommend this as a local destination if you cannot make it to the actual zoo. Be careful not to get to close to the otter enclosure if you have allergies or sensitive the ammonia smell from urine was overpowering but what can ya do its a petting zoo its to be expected.

First time in a petting zoo. Went for my dads birthday. Lots of animals to see, pet and feed. Kangaroos, llamas, and coatamundi to name a few of them. I was too scared to pet or feed them though as often the animals catch you by surprise asking for food. I was talking to my friends that went with me and the parrot squawked very loud and I was head-butted somewhat lightly a couple of times by a goat. As you can see, Im not really used to this yet, but seeing the animals from behind the wall at the entrance and seeing them get fed by other people was worth it. Staff was nice too. The staff had a great attitude. It was a great experience. I just need to get more used to this. On second thought, I didnt like it at all. I dont want to go to a petting zoo ever again. Its not for me as I am too afraid of them. Someone else might like it though.
