Fun park. With spray park and several big toys for the kids. It does get super hot on the slides though. Lots of pic nic tables. grassy spots to sit. Bathrooms and I believe snow cone stand as well.

The Vanardo Circus was an excellent family outing. Outstanding actors and performers.

Great place too make friends. I cant wait for them too open up again. :)

Great park for little kids!

We love the STAR center for its indoor/outdoor playground (infants and little ones can use the indoor section - and the equipment is big/sturdy enough for parents too) , and its big fully outdoor playground and spray ground. They also host birthday parties (weve attended but never hosted one ourselves) and offer all sorts of community programs.

Nice place for the kids to play. Less people on week days.

Absolutely love the Star Center! I have attended events here & have enjoyed each one. I have taken great yoga classes here in the past as well. I live in the community & utilize the Center & have found the staff to be friendly & helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming, the Center is clean & the events are entertaining.

This was our second birthday party we hosted at the indoor play center. The staff makes it a great experience. The rooms are clean. The indoor playground is good for a variety of ages.

Had an excellent night attending a banquet. Facilities are nice, the area with the fireplace is very welcoming. Only thing I thought a little off was the ladies room. Water from the sinks collect on the counter and a few ladies in nice clothing ended up getting their dresses wet. Placement of the paper towels is too far from the hand sinks. Perhaps a basket with some paper towels on the counter during evening events? Otherwise quite a nice event center.

A nice park/community center to come to. The circus is currently here so its a really good time to come here. There is the boys and girls club here as well. For outdoor activities there is a play area with a jungle gym, a huge field for baseball and softball or soccer. Bathrooms are available both inside and outside. Just a couple blocks away is a corner store so if you need any food or drink you do not have to travel far.

Ive checked out most of the amenities the Star Center has to offer. A Boys & Girls Club, a outside Waterpark that geared toward younger children, a gym for adults, a large indoor 2 story jungle gym type area for kids You can drop your kids off there I think it cost $12.00. Today I went to a basketball game that was held in the Boys & Girls Club area. Theres ample parking, lots of Green Space, baseball fields were they hold huge tournaments they must rent out space in one of the buildings because Ive seen people walking out from church services and church services and wedding receptions. Its not on a major road its easy to find if you have a GPS and its relatively safe there. All in all it has made a great addition to our community.

Love going to this center. Nice and clean. However there are not a lot of machines or heavy weights so you need to get creative in workout. They do provide fresh ice water. Sometimes not all the treadmills are working. The other downside is that they close early so you have to get your workout in. They do open early. Definitely geared for the older crowd. I havent used the other amenities so cant comment on those.

The ideal location for reading, community events, and learning. The staff at the front desk are very helpful.

Great facility inside and out. Today we just went for the outside. There is a nice walking path. Outdoor available restrooms and play ground equipment. A little something for the whole family. There was a one on the base ball field too, so even some fun to watch a little spring ball.

This is one of me and my granddaughters favorite parks that sprays water, they have convenient restrooms and practically every hour the park is visited by ice cream trucks during the summer of course. They have picnic tables we like to bring food

The place was beautiful and spacious. But the reason I’m writing this review and giving 2 stars is because of my experience that happened with the Subway inside. I was patiently waiting in line for my order to be taken, as the lady was finishing the customers sandwich before me. In the most rudest, crankiest tone ever, she said to me, “Do you need anything because I’m about to be on break?!” I just stood there in shock. I don’t know who she was thinking she was talking to. I don’t know if it was because I’m a teenager and younger then her and she thought she could disrespect me but no, respect is mutual and goes both ways. I just dealt with it and didn’t say anything because I knew better and didn’t want to cause a scene. I told her what I wanted and she very quickly made my sandwich. She then very rudely asked me “Is that it?” I wanted my sandwich toasted but she rushed me and I couldn’t ask for a fountain drink also. I just said yes and paid for my sandwich. The thing that infuriated me the most was how respectful she spoke to the customer before me. He needed assistance with his card and she spoke to him respectfully. Her tone was much different from the tone she used with me. I had just wanted to write a review for the subway but I guess I have to write a review on here because the subway is inside. Overall I just wanted to say that was the worst customer service.*Also the lady who made my sandwich has hello kitty tattoos on the left side of her arm* I don’t remember her name but there is no other lady with tattoos like that.*I hope she doesn’t work at Star center anymore because she shouldn’t work in an environment that has kids. Especially with her attitude she won’t get far in life and I seem to be correct on that with her working at subway in a community center. (No shade intended)

My first time visiting this location. We came for a wedding. Clean attractive community space. Clearly well designed as a multi-use facility.

While my little brother and my mom were gone for a quick use of the bathroom some one had broken into my moms car. I think it was a homeless because they stole a blanket that we used for picnics during the summer. But they stole more stuff like my moms purse and a backpack just to make it clear it was my little brother’s. All I’m trying to say is that you should make the star center parking lots more secure or at least solve the homeless problem...

Came here for a birthday party and had access to the treetops for little ones. My kid had a great time and will definitely want to come back and explore the other fun things to do here. They had food options and indoor/outdoor activities for all weather situations. We didnt pay as it was a party but there is an admission price

Went to the play tree house area and had lots of fun! To do the outdoor play area you have to be 44 or taller, my 46 5 year old LOVED it! Its fully covered and gated so the kids can play without sun burns, but it still gets warm out there. The inside was fun too and had ac. Nice and cool. My 1year old did great running around!

We attended a 1st-grader kids birthday party and had a lot of fun. The facility is comfortable, the indoor play area was fun, and then a bunch of us hung out by the outdoor play area another 3 hours. The trees were helpful for the adults to hide in the shade while the kids wore themselves out.Its nice they have parking on both sides of the building and across the street, because the original lot fills so fast, and people can be jerks about making their own parking spaces (read as: make the lot impossible to get thru by parking in the travel lanes).

Great place for my 4yr old great granddaughters birthday party

Clean and friendly environment. Excellent park for kids to play at. The kids I nanny enjoy bringing towels to slide down the big hill with. I also hosted an event in the facility last year and was more than satisfied with my experience.

Went there for a childs birthday. Clean and inviting. Water fountain s and canopies set up over picnic tables.

Its a great place to have a birthday party for little kids my niece just had her 1st birthday there and it cater to little ones and big kids. My daughter had a blast there she didnt want to leave.

Totally awesome place for kids judge climbing toys

Love the small town feel you get a when visiting this Community center in the middle of the city! The play area is modern and fun for kids of most ages. I would love to visit their sprinkler area in the summer, but have seen it very popular. I highly recommend going to the Treetops playground for your kids birthday party! The rooms for rent are sizable, clean and accessible to the party rooms.

Love this place. They have a dance every Monday that my grandpa likes to attend. They have a gym, fitness center, workout classes, child care, childrens rooms with playground that is both inside and outside. Overall great place for family fun wellness

Four tennis courts, thats all I can really state about this place, other than it typically has a clean and calm exterior.

One of the best Piano teachers in the world is here. I’ve seen her students from beginning days as kids to their last recital before heading off to college. Including my kid. I’ve been to other piano teachers but the best is here.

I loved it my only issue is the adults and not cleaning up their trash

Great place for families, clean facility, helpful and courteous staff, lots of activities to choose from. So many things for you to choose from. I always have a positive experience when I come here. I visit Star Center at least 3 times a week. So happy there is a place like this in our community!

I simply love this place and all the staff is super nice. The bathrooms are always clean and taking care of. The location has a playground available next to the building. There are classes available for all ages such ballet, Zumba and martial arts

We recently had a Celebration of Life for my husband at The STAR Center. We rented The Journey Room, the two adjoining lobbies and the kitchen. It is a beautiful facility. They had plenty of round tables to seat our guests. We were provided with six and eight foot rectangular tables for food, desserts, beverages and momentos. We had ample room to comfortably move around and visit after the service. The professional kitchen is well appointed with a gas stove, gas and convection ovens, freezers, refrigerators, and a coffee maker that is directly plumbed to the water system. You can make coffee or get plain hot water with the push of a button. Christopher and Russ walked us through the rental process. They attended to every detail. We were provided with a podium, a wireless mic, and adapters to hook up our laptop for the slideshow. The stage worked nicely for the band and the acoustics are excellent. Christopher and Russ clearly explained all details of the contract. They contacted us several days prior to the event to ensure that everything was good to go. The crew that worked the day of the event made every effort to ensure that things went smoothly. Thank you for helping to make a very difficult task for our family much easier. We truly appreciate all that the staff of the STAR Center did to facilitate our function.

Outdoor spray park was amazing. Clean and multiple different areas for kids of all ages.

Visited the splash ground with the kids and they had a blast. I would recommend it for kids under 10 and wouldnt expect to spend more than an hour and a half due to boredom. But the park is in great condition.

The only time I have been to the STAR center is for a special event. I cant speak on all it has to offer, but it looks like an amazing place. The building was modern and clean, there looked to be a gym and places to eat inside. Outside, there were fields filled with youth sport activities and a playground. If you live in the area, its definitely a place to check out!

Fun place. Definitely for 2 or older. Not much for new walkers or crawlers, but very fun for beginner climbers!

The classes are great. Times are good. Peaple ate very nice.

I just want to give a big negative shout out to the Star center in tacoma for ruining my sons birthday party. I called them a few days ago to schedule his party and they said no problem there was a spot available for my size party and time. And they would call me back that day to get everything set up. They never called back that day. I called the next day and was told the room was no longer available. Because someone came in and paid for my spot? I was never told I had to pay upfront.And they only have the big room available for $60 more. And I dont think that is acceptable. I called them back and said could I get that room for a discount? or you guys honor the original price? and they said no there is nothing we can do. Wow so disappointed in this place.

Staff is always willing to help with anything and very friendly

I love the classes offered at the Star Center. They are taught by passionate individuals and enjoyed by patrons of a variety of ages and abilities. The fitness room is usually not too packed, so the machine you want is often available immediately or shortly. Always friendly and helpful staff. And they have community pools available to patrons at certain times. Prices are very reasonable.

Very nice park. My kids thuraly enjoy playing here. There are all kinds of fun things to do and my kids dont get board as easily.

I truly enjoy my membership @ Star center. I enjoy the classes and the instructors are the best. I would truly recommend the center to all looking to get fit. Theres access to a pool and gym if group classes arent your thing. Check it out....you wont regret it!

I have only been here twice during the Halloween celebration but me and my son loved it. If it wasnt for us living in Maple Valley we would be there all the time its a great place

Worst splash park ever! Water on timer, ran for a couple minutes off for almost 15 minutes. Just enough to get kids hopes up then off again. No shade so play equipment was scorching hot. Dont bother....
