Excellent clean theater with lots of nearby parking. Seats are comfortable, theaters and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Lines are not long at the concessions.

Great new cinema! I like the setup, the screens are really big and nice. The toilets aren’t so modern compared to other cinemas I’ve been to so that’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars. The popcorns were very affordable too and they give complimentary water. Also there’s parking which is awesome!!

A fantastic find. Its small, but its cozy. Its on the Tacoma waterfront, so you get more than what you pay for. Dinner, a movie and a walk or ride on the waterfront? I went on discount day, so $6 a ticket. Its new, so theyve got a nice concession stand, recliners and even a birthday party room? Nice amenities and really friendly kids. They will even validate your parking for 5 hours! Food prices are not good, but this is to be expected from a movie theater, but $4+ for water? I caught the last showing , of the new movie i wanted to see ... Ample parking... and so easy to find, there is a public parking lot right across the street from the movie theater... adequate lighting for security reasons, so if you want to visit this theater at night you definitely feel safe.. I once you enter theater, the service personal is prompt and knowledgeable and very courteous!!! The theater yourself is wonderfully and immaculately refreshing and clean!!! But those prices ouch!!!! But like I always say you pay for what you expect to receive... And the theater seats itself are plush and fully reclining ... they are totally comfortable and relaxing... As well as clean!!! the floor is not sticky so you dont have to worry about walking and hearing your feet stick to the surface!!! So sit back in comfort and enjoy the great sounding movie theater speakers... I get this place four stars for sure !!!!

Very nice & clean! We went here for my bday yesterday (10.28.20)!! We saw Tenet, which was aaaawsome!! The theater was really nice & we were seated social distantly, & there wasnt a lot of ppl in the theater. So it was nice to actually GO to the movies for the 1st time since Covid-19 had us all on locked down & locked inside our homes. Best bday!!

Felt completely safe, even during COVID times.

They had plenty of places to sit while we waited for our theater to be ready and we enjoyed a nice little pizza. I like that they have ice cream here as well! Getting the parking validated was simple and lots of places to eat within walking distance. Fantastic theater seating as well -- basically reclining loveseats, where you can lift the center cup holder and cuddle with your date if youd like.

Great great service, clean and confortable we lost our cellular phone and yesterday the janitors help us to find it since it was in silence we couldn’t heard it ringing this really awesome people bring a flash light and yes the phone was underneath of a chair in the next line. Thank you guys

This theater is an excellent family friendly place. There are multiple places to eat within a hundred feet. You can eat while looking out at the water after a movie. I would highly recommend the Ruston area to anyone looking for a place to sit back and have fun.

If you plan on seeing a movie here, theres no need to pay for parking if you park in the parking garage. Just remember your license plate number and use the key pads inside the theater. They are located right as you give your ticket to enter the theater area. Just ask an employee. The theater itself is very clean and the recliners are nice and comfortable. Even the bathrooms are nice. There are lots of shops in a nice walking path nearby.

We went to the theater there to watch Dr. Doolittle. Best movie ever btw. Also went to a little store called The Purple Peacock. Lots of really cool items. Everything there is very unique. Will definitely be back to both the theater (which has the most comfortable and biggest movie seats Ive ever sat in) and the cute Purple Peacock store. Definitely worth visiting.

Best theatre in Pierce county. The rewards membership is so amazing amd I go to the movies for free all the time plus 20% snacks and you can share your discounts and tickets roll over and other tickets are at a reduced price. Never have to pay full price. So worth the money. Best $9.99 bill every month. I have saved over $200 in a year and a half.

What a great movie theater!!! We stopped by on a particularly busy Tuesday, and boy was the staff working their butt off making sure that everybody got what they needed and had a good time. The theaters are always particularly clean, but be careful their reclining chairs seem to eat up peoples phones. I lost mine and was just about to give up when a helpful manager came and found my phone for me. And one of the best selling points for me they sell Dreyers Ice Cream by the cone.

Wonderful staff and great theater. Power went out when movie started and I got rain check vouchers. You can not reserve seats with vouchers no matter what, you have to do it in person. So these are worth less than toilet paper. Would have been nice to be told that when I received them.

Great location near the waterfront and restaurants. Friendly service and extremely comfortable reclining luxury seats. You get to choose your seat as you are purchasing your ticket. I prefer to see movies here and no longer go to regular movie theaters.

I purchased tickets 3 days ago and couldn’t make the show time. I went to the movies today and asked if I could see one today, since I already paid for tickets and missed the time. I remember this being protocol. The manager was extremely rude, he cut me off, was very short, and had a lot of attitude in his delivery. Fine. I buy more tickets. The manager and another employee we staring at me whispering and snickering while I was in the concession line. FINE. I wanted a hot chocolate. Nobody is available at the Starbucks counter. I miss the beginning of my movie waiting for nobody to show. During the movies I decided to go check, still nobody at the Starbucks counter. I decide to buy a candy and a pizza. The pizza was burnt. The candy was the sour straws. They were melted. The sugar was melted and all of the straws were stuck together. I call the guest services number and luckily they gave me a refund. BUT as far as everything else I guess it’s none of their business. This isn’t my first time having issues at century Point Ruston. But this experience is by far the worst.

Nice area. Comfortable seats. Beware purchasing tickets online. We purchased four tickets today for the 8:10 but when it printed out the printout read 5:30, which we didnt catch until getting to the theater at 8. I understand the theater is full right now, but an offer to replace the tickets for a future showing would have been a goodwill gesture.

Its nice up scale movie theater which has the cozy reclining seat(automated). there r disabled seats available. they have Starbucks coffee n dreyers icecream, too. the parking validation machine is on the wall after u show the tickets. u can get 5hs free parking.

The theater is in Point Ruston. The area is next the the water and has restaurants and others shops as well as the theater. When parking remember your license plate since you will get 5 hours of free parking when you validate in the theater. The theater is new and all seats are the big reclining ones. Very comfortable and spacious. This is my go to place for watching movies.

Love this theatre. It is always clean and i never see it super crowded. Staff are always pleasant. My wife and i drive past 2 other theatres to go to this one.

Very nice cinema. Oversized comfy power recliners give it a luxury vibe. My first time here was to see A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. Parking garage located close to cinema. Be sure to snap photo of license plate and enter on their tablet inside for five HOURS of free parking (after purchasing ticket). Staff offered answers to all my questions and were very polite. I would suggest reserving tickets online for best seat selection, as seating is more limited than in many theaters.

I love this place. This area is up and coming and it is a great place for a quick date for dinner and a movie and if you want to take a stroll along the water afterwards....even better! My only complaint is the setup for the bathrooms is really strange.

Snacks were pricey, but were good quality. Movie theater was clean and seats were comfy. Had some noisy kids in the theater but thats not exactly the theaters fault.

This is my favorite place to take the grandkids! We love the recliners and headphones for my youngest until he adjusts to the sound level. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I like the kids combo box and the choices for them. Its just the right amount for ages 3 and 6.I did join the Movie Club with an auto payment for 1 reg ticket each month. Then I realized that my senior ticket and the kids tickets are less than the monthly cost. Nice theater with comfortable love chair style seats - - - BUT 30 minutes (!) of previews and commercials after the scheduled start to the film - on top of all of the ads you have to sit through if you foolishly arrive early. By the end of the ads, I was just ready to go home (and watch Netflix).Other Cinemark theaters are not this bad.

We really enjoy this theater complex. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable seats (love the recliners) and well-maintained restrooms. I use a walker and my daughter (who is also my caregiver) is visually impaired. Given the design of most - modern day - movie theaters, (lots of stairs), Century Point Ruston is one of the more accessible theaters, in the Tacoma area, for us to navigate. The reasonably wide aisles and adequate space to (carefully) place a folded walker are appreciated.

Good.. but seriously too many previews!! 1/2 hour after starting time before the feature presentation. I love previews but that is too much.

Very nice theatre! No cell service though which can be a concern for a variety of reasons. The parking system is a little odd so make sure you take a photo or write down your license plate number before you go in. A pain to type it in when your hands are full with drinks/popcorn.

Clean!! Reclining chairs are the best. Buy tickets in advance. If you are a movie goer get their membership $8.99 includes 1 ticket a month (pays membership alone) and 20% discount on concessions. The staff is very friendly and willing to help.

Theater is very nice and comfy. But the snack bar was awful 1 person helping customers and 3 others actually just standing. Popcorn was awful. I will go to the theater but the snack bar wont get a dime.

We go here every Tuesday for discount night. Get their app and book your time in advance as it is reserved seating. Depending on the movie it can fill up fast. Prices for food are far better than any other local theater. Parking is free with validation.

MAKE SURE YOU VALIDATE YOUR PARKING! Take a picture of your licence plate and ask a staff member on how to successfully input your information. The seats are awesome! Staff are nice and the audio quality it great.

I love those place, but the movie I wanted to see was sold out and I was really bummed but I saw another movie that was great but not all my friends like that movie because they wanted to see the other one

One of the best movie theaters Ive been to. Chairs are super comfy, tickets are affordable. Sat in row F and it was a perfect vantage point. Popcorn could have been better but no complaints otherwise.

One of our favorite theaters. Super comfy seats, tasty popcorn, ice cream for an extra treat, and a wonderful location to take a walk after the movie. Just be aware that the parking garage does fill up fast during peak busy hours (nights and weekends.) But you can enter your license plate number in the computer at the theater for free parking. Overall I highly recommend this place.. we joined the movie club for discount tickets and come back often.

Its probably the nicest theater in Tacoma. Parking is free, covered and patrolled. There are loads of great restaurants within easy walking distance as well.

I love their reclining seats and cheaper prices than regal. Their screens are smaller than regal but it so roomey, I fit my purse next to me on the seat. They sell out quick so maybe buy your tickets online and ahead of time. The area is also beautiful for a walk or to eat out.

Great staff, great seating, quite clean/presentable. Concessions were priced very reasonably. They had some shirts that are exclusive, and those were even priced reasonably. The only downfall is its far from the bus line. If you were on foot or using public transportation. So worth the money and was very impressed by everything. If i could go again i would!

The theater was great!!! Going to the movies is always fun. I dont even mind paying 300% mark up on popcorn and concessions, I figure the theater needs to cover its overhead.My issue is the 15 to 20-minutes of COMMERCIALS before the movie starts. No not during seating advertising, the preview part just before the movie starts. This is the part where the lights are turned lower, then you preview upcoming movies right!!! Not anymore!!! Small. Expensive, like 9 or 10 theaters, no merchandise. One set of bathrooms nearly at the door in the small halway-ish only exit. Lobby is so cramped, weird set up too. Seats were nice and the screen, sound and projection were all good, we saw Knives Out a few days after New Years. Snack choice is limited and popcorn is okay. Theres a really good restaurant next door, Stack house 571 i believe its called. Honestly the only reason i may go back to this theater is because of my Cinemark membership, because its the closest Cinemark theater close to where i live. Its a 35 minute drive with good traffic. Very disappointed. Clean and nice despite the size and set up, staff was nice. Movie and seats were good too. But if you want to see a movie double check that its even going to be shown, youre better off going to another theater.

The movie club deal is great if you go to the theaters a lot. It is always pretty clean here. Now that Ive been spoiled by the cozy recliners here it is near impossible for me to go to another theater.

This theater is the best around. There are many closer to where I live, however I will always make the trip to catch a film here. The staff is helpful and kind, the facilities and auditoriums are consistantly spotless and most importantly, the confections are reasonably priced. Regal and AMC theaters have allot to learn from this place.Simply put, Point Ruston has set the golden standard, and I plan on returning many times over, as should you.

Theatres sure have changed since I was a kid. Now, theyre nice and comfortable and not over sold. Century Pt offers electric recliners and amazing sound to enhance your movie theater experience. The staff was mostly attentive, bathrooms were clean.

This is a theater to do for a fun date night. Have dinner walking distance away, see a movie and go on a nice board walk. The location is perfect! Prices are alright, food is quality. This is one of the only places I go to see movies. The seating is fantastic and Ive not had issues with people talking during movies. The food and drink selection is great too. I highly recommend going here even if you have to drive for a bit to make it.
