I love Dazed and Reused! Ive done 3 classes there; acrylic paint pouring, a clay vase, and an acrylic paint and coffee sip. Nancy and Christopher are so warm, inviting, and so willing to share their love of art with everyone. They are super flexible and laid back during classes, giving their students the choice to make their are their own. Wonderful place that you must visit!!

I love this place! Atmosphere is great, with friendly and helpful teachers. I’ve taken many classes, and look forward to taking more. There’s a class for everyone. They teach mandala rock painting, many canvas painting classes, jewelry, gnome houses, atriums, everything you need provided to create something fantastic. They even offer a paint club membership. Music is great, meet new people. They also have many items in store to buy including very cool vintage clothes, art, they even sell snacks and coffee and tea. This place is a Tacoma Gem!

Let a trip to Dazed and Reused be the highlight of your day. The owners are awesome - very kind, welcoming, great artists and teachers. The list of different classes they offer goes on and on. Theres something for everyone. Lots to look at in the shop - you cant see everything in one visit. And new items for sale all the time. They are always willing to take suggestions for new classes. Very patient with and accomplished in their teaching skills. Any time I walk in the door, they make me feel at home. Come to look around, take a class and meet Nancy and Christopher. Honestly, this is home away from home! The owners, Nancy and Christopher, are really lovely people that really want to share the joy of art with as many people as possible. Fist time I found this place, I spent an hour just taking in every piece of art they had displayed. Some was theirs, some their students, some other artists. Its a great place to learn and make friends!!

What a fun experience! My daughter and I took the Goddess class, with the acrylic pour process on canvas and it was super fun, and enlightening! Thank you Nancy for teaching us not only the technique and the process, but also for explaining how to mix the different ingredients, and also what not to do, like to make sure to add the flood to the acrylic to get the desired affect, and never use gloss as the medium.. and all kinds of other things I had never heard of! One of the best aspects was to see everyone elses creations. Really interesting and also fun to see everyones techniques. I would definitely take additional classes in the future, if I am able - I live an hour and a half from the studio :(

Hands down my favorite place to go for a relaxing, fun, and inspiring environment! The first time i walked in Nancy was friendly and fun! I have learned a lot of easy painting styles (i am definitely not a natural) but they make it fun and easy to learn and get in touch with my personal creativity. They always have something new or you can take the same classes and get better each time. Plus the classes are so inexpensive! I end up spending more on my own at the craft store on supplies with no motivation/inspiration. I also LOVE the unique items they sell. If you havent signed up yet, take a class you will have so much fun!

What a cool place. My girlfriend and I signed up for a paint pouring/pendant making class at Dazed & Reused and we were excited just to go learn that. But when you walk in, it is an awesome bombardment of beautifully painted art, consignment clothes, jewelry, prints, coffee (yes!) and two very cool art creation areas. All over the walls are paintings from the owners and other artists. They are beautiful!Christopher and Nancy, the owners, were very fun. Nancy taught our class and she actually taught us the how and why paint pouring works. Instead of just do A, B, & C, she explained why you did A, B, & C and what they do in the process. Im always nervous trying new art, but within minutes of sitting down, Nancy swept all those fears aside. It ended up only being my girlfriend and I in the class and that was so fun. We laughed A LOT, we made gorgeous dirty pours on canvas, and made pendants out of pour old skins (I didnt know you could make things with the leftover paint!). And it was a GREAT price for not only the class, painting, and pendants, the knowledge is priceless. I will be going back, they have a bunch of different classes (even Mandala Stones, and they are gorgeous), or, if you want they have times when you can walk in and say I want to create that and they set you up. Dazed & Reused is an awesome, fun, funky, and absolutely enjoyable experience, no matter what you wander in for.Only downside is you have to find street parking. But... Its Tacoma, when do you not have to find street parking, eh? Its so worth a very short walk.

Ive taken many classes here (Mandala on rock, Tree of Life, Alcohol Ink) and am always thankful for being able to try out an art form at a reasonable price before I invest in it only to find out I dont like it much. Nancy demystifies dot art. I would previously look at a pattern and be befuddled where to begin!
