My fiance and I had our first escape room experience here today and loved every minute of it. We did The Cure challenge, which they say is about a medium difficulty level, and although we completed it just a little too late, we had an absolute blast. The staff are all wonderful people who, we could tell, put a lot of effort into making every experience great. The room truly tested us, we had to use a few hints, but we look forward to trying the rest of their rooms soon! 10/10 recommend visiting this place if youre looking for a legit, well thought out escape room experience.

Fantastic rooms across the board! We did three rooms and all of them were very well designed and built. Lots of clever and unique puzzles. Clearly a lot of thought and effort went into making the whole thing a fantastic experience. Immersive sets and an enthusiastic staff helped bring the story to life.

After we left, I immediately wanted to do it all over again. The experience was so fun and realistic, it was just what we were looking for. The employees were very kind, and their acting made everything feel even more real. I’ll definitely book another appointment the next time I’m bored and in need of some adventure.

A great escape room, they have two rooms. We scheduled online and received a military discount. It was easy to make the reservation. They do book rooms to capacity for each room, but if no one signs up you may be able to get a room for just your group. We were lucky and didn’t have another group with us to escape. There was plenty of parking when we came and there are restrooms on site. My wife and I have done a bunch of escape rooms and this was definitely one of the better ones we have been to. The staff was attentive and very friendly. They seem to love their job and enjoy being there. We definitely will be back to attempt the other room.

Awesome experience -- we have been there twice. The Cure is hands-down my favorite escape room, and Ive done a handful over the years. The two rooms we have done here have been wheelchair accessible, one fully (Grandmas Attic) and one *mostly* (The Cure).

Well thought out and presented. A great challenging fun experience for the whole family. We will be back again.

This place and escape hour are the worthwhile escape rooms in the Tacoma ish area. By that I mean amazing. If your a veteran or a newbie there is plenty of fun to be had.

So much fun!!! We had a great time in the sorcerer room. The puzzles were interactive and had a lot of variety that allowed for everyone to take part in solving them. Loved the theme, staff, and overall ambiance. We’re definitely going to go back to try the other two rooms!

Super fun! First time escape room experience here and the host(s) were super sweet and helpful. We technically failed (a few minutes over the hour) but she still let us finish finding all the clues.

I have done seven escape rooms and the sorcerer room was by far my favorite thus far. It was magical, immersive and well balanced. Many of the puzzles were extremely unique. I did this with seven people and we were all engaged the entire time. I think it might be a lot for only a couple of people to figure out, but every part was magical.

I worked with them to bring a large group from my work as a team building exercise, the staff was completely accommodating, professional, and lovely to work with. They were patient with my changing needs regarding how many people I had attending, and they were always quick to respond via email or phone if I had a question.The rooms themselves were a ton of fun as well- tricky, but not hopelessly so, with help only a phone call away. It worked very well as a team building exercise for my leaders, and I would bring them back to try a new room in a heartbeat.Thanks again guys!

We did the Sorcerers Rescue room for an all adult birthday event. The decor and props were fantastic. The puzzles and challenges were unique, interesting and fun, plus the cause and effect relationship when you solved a puzzle was clear. So much fun, cant wait to do another one.

Great adventure...we had quite a span of ages and all had a blast!Some were much better than others as we chose the most difficult as our first encounter with an escape room. Lots of laughs, lots of action. See you next time for The Cure!

So much fun!! Great fun for the entire family! The Lab Room was challenging and well thought out with lots of surprises! The Staff was very nice! Parking was easy and there is wheelchair access.

Awesome experience! This was our first Escape room, we did this for a bachelorette party and everyone absolutely loved it! Not what I expected, but in a good way. It was much more detailed than just finding a key to get out, there were many locks, puzzles and combinations to try and figure out. Finding random items to make heads or tails out of and figure out the connections. It made the experience very fun, challenging, and kept us on our toes! The staff are very friendly and helpful, they really make sure you enjoy the whole event. We cant wait to come back and try the other rooms!

These are legit challenges, and definitely not light weight fun. If you like a nearly impossible puzzle sign up for the wizard course. I had fun but they seem to have a low success rate for completion of the game.

First escape room experience. Challenging but not impossible. Host/helper was judicious with clues and helped us finish with just minutes left. Good quality props and fun clues. Really had fun with our mixed group of 3 teens and 2 adults.

Their rooms are creative and diverse! Harder than some of the other rooms Ive been to, but thats not necessarily a bad thing! The staff love their job, and were very accommodating when someone (me) took the wrong exit and was late getting there!

When my family came to Enigma it was the first time we have ever done an escape room. It was one of the most amazing experiences we have ever had and immediately booked our second room. The staff was AMAZING! and the owner was so sweet and personable. There is so much thought that goes into these rooms and we can not wait for the third room to open up. I work with some great people and decided to have a reward/fun day with food from Burger Seoul and an attempt at escaping from The Estate room at Enigma Escapes.Booking the room was easy and done online via the Enigma Escapes web site.We arrived 10-15 minutes early to sign in and were greeted by friendly staff who went over the details and rules of the room.We had a blast! This was a fun escape room and everyone enjoyed the challenge. Highly recommend Enigma Escapes! We are planning a trip back to attempt The Cure room next as a larger group.

Came here on a double date night and it was a great time. It was apparent that the person who helped was personally invested in the escape room and ensuring that we had the best experience possible. The room itself was very well done as far as the construction and the creativity/cleverness of the clues. We did make it out but it would have still been fun if we hadnt. Afterward, we received pins for winning and the staff member discussed some of the intricacies of the clues, answered our questions, and even gave us a sneak peek of the next room which we I hope to be back to do.

This was so much fun. Challenging and captivating. It was so easy to get caught up in the adventure. We highly recommend Enigma Escapes!!!

We had a blast! We did this for my fiancé’s birthday. None of us had ever done an escape room before. Fiancé chose the most difficult puzzle according to their site. We did not finish in time but the staff was super nice & let us finish since we were the last group. I would definitely recommend this for a great group experience!! The acting was fun & engaging, the puzzles were interesting & clever, and the overall experience was fantastic!

Absolute favorite new place for a date night or even a day out with friends! My husband and I did the grandmas last will and testament and had a blast. From the moment we walked in the employee was in full costume mode to prepare us for the experience. The room itself had plenty of tricky elements and clever puzzles to solve! I especially loved that we can privately book for our own group, instead of being thrown in with a bunch of strangers. We plan to visit again soon and try out the other rooms ! If you are hesitant to try something like this just do it, you won’t regret it!

My first experience at an escape room. Came as a small group for my girlfriend and her brothers birthdays. Between the four of us, we managed to solve the room and even made 2nd place on the leaderboard. If you enjoy puzzles, I highly recommend checking this place out!

We accidentally picked the hardest room but it was so much fun! The staff even let us finish it partly (not til the very end, dont wanna spoil it) with their assistance. It made us really use our mind and think outside the box. We will definently be back several times again.

We went to “the cure” room for my birthday and it was so amazing! First impression was the staff were so nice and friendly and that made us all more excited. Walking into the escape room at first you think “oh I got this” but it is so elborate! All the members of our 8 man team were busy working and we barley escaped on time! IT WAS AWESOME! Tonight my boyfriend proposed to me in one of the escape rooms. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER for how this night turned out! From what my boyfriend tells me, Enigma was very helpful in the planning process. The room had some cute custom items that were special to our relationship. 10/10! Definitely recommend and will definitely go back to do the other rooms!

Really enjoyed the room. Very well thought out and the puzzles werent overwhelmingly hard. The two gentlemen who was working that day were both incredibly nice and really wanted to make sure we had a great experience. They have another room we cant wait to try and then two more opening soon that we will happily return for when they open. This is a great family fun activity. Give them a try if you are looking for a fun challenge.

Way cool, unique puzzle experience. I havent done a lot of escape the rooms, but this one was clever and interesting. The puzzles kept our attention and once we got into the grove it just started to flow. So it was the right balance of difficulty and ease. The staff was super friendly, and very laid back. We had a great time!

We did The Estate. Finished in 49 minutes. At least we made the scoreboard. Loads of fun figuring out the puzzles and opening locks. Highly recommended!

We had so much fun doing the lab room experience! The staff (especially Kevin) were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived and patient with us since we were doing our first escape room. The room itself was challenging, but the staff really helped keep us progressing if we got hung up on certain clues. We know a lot better on what to look for next time and will certainly be back again. Highly recommend this place to anyone, beginner or experienced!

My friends and I enjoyed it a lot. The staff members were very, very nice and were willing to give hints and help whenever we requested it or had trouble. The locks and puzzles werent super difficult but werent incredibly easy either. As someone that has never done an escape room before, I can say this was an awesome impression. Fun , exciting, and such a creative expierence when it comes to escape rooms. me and my kids have done a few different locations, and found enigma escapes to be by far the best spot for this type of entertainment. Second room we have done and they did not dissapoint. We did the cure and without spoilers bring your thinking hat. Have done eight rooms now and this place is a favorite.

What a fun experience! Even though we didnt escape it was a great way to spend an hour with my family. It is well organized, professionally run, clean, safe and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend!

My friends and I found ourselves as a group of hapless researchers trying to find The Cure to a deadly disease that would wipe out life as we know it. We quickly got to work sorting through the scene in question and putting together clues.I wont go too much into detail because youll have to check the room out yourself. We had tons of fun, and the puzzles were entertaining without being impossibly difficult or too easy. The room itself was not just well designed, but very well engineered with some clever technological tricks. All in all, Id highly recommend this room, and we look forward to coming back to try The Estate!

Our family had a terrific time in ‘The Cure’ room at Enigma Escapes celebrating a New Years Eve birthday. Hunter was a wonderful host and the entire staff were helpful as well. The room was fun, the premise was creative, and the clues were clever. Great fun and excellent customer service. We will plan to return!

We’ve done 7 escape rooms now in Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia and the greater LA area. “The Cure” at Enigma Escapes easily ranks as one of the best we’ve played. The puzzles were challenging, but not impossible and the build quality was top notch. It’s nice not to have to drive all the way up to Seattle to find a room of this calibur. We will definitely be back to do more rooms in the future.

My wife and I celebrated our 11 anniversary trying to solve The Cure. The whole set up was amazing and the puzzles were fun

Though our group didnt solve the enigma, we had a great time! None of us had done anything like this before, so we had a bit of a learning curve. Next time well go in with some experience that will help us be more efficient with our time, which seemed to fly by. Would definitely like to repeat the experience.

We made it out with a few minutes left, but had a great time solving a lot of riddles and problems and locks to save Grandmas house. I was hoping it would be a fun thing to do, and the people at Enigma only made me more interested it doing escape rooms more often.
