And i have lived here 30 years and enjoy it so. And city living us great! I live within 1 to 3 miles of all the other places on this list. Sure, I hike, swim and snowshoe the ADK and the Catskills. But there’s something to be said when you can take a daily 15, 30, 60 min outing right out your front door!

A small, cute park! This park is really nice for walking. There are several walking paths that go around the lower and upper part of the park. There is a nice view of the city of Syracuse from the upper park. There is a large pond in the center of the park. I wouldnt suggest fishing or getting into this water, but it doesnt smell bad and its nice to walk around. There is also a nice gazebo out over the water. On one side of the park there is a playground, and theres also a public pool. I cant speak to the pool or bathhouses though.I would not suggest going to this park after dark though due to its proximity to certain parts of the city. Its okay to visit during the day though.

Such a beautiful view of the city! The mountain goat monument is perfect, and a walk around the lake is delightful.

Decent place to go if you are in the city and are close. Its pretty well kept and not too busy. The water is pretty dirty though and not all that desirable to be near. Other than that a nice place to take a walk

Very nice park, the water is gorgeous and great scenery. But on the other hand to get there we had to walk through one of the most sketchy towns Ive ever walked in. We thought for sure we were going to get jumped.

This park is beautiful! There is a great view of the city from the top. There is a small pavilion on the lake, a few walking paths, tennis courts, a playground, and public pool in the summer. There were several bees on the playground when we went... And, every time Ive been the bathrooms are locked. Just a warning!

I can see this used to be a great park but has hit a rough patch. The pond is low and is not attractive as a result and even has signs warning of algae ruining the view from the benches. The infrastructure is falling apart and there is construction ruining the feel. There are few places to legally park which is ridiculous given the size of the road through it.The pool looks nice and the sunset is good but I wouldnt come back until it is taken care of again.

The park is very nice!! but can get overcrowded. Not the parks fault but representatives of the city should find a way to preserve more land in the inner city and expand our parks. Maybr invest more into actvities and events at the park , possibly even assist other more in their attempts to invest into eventz at the park but its not the citys fault its its he make america great again guy and the 40 somthing guys before him . Yeah great park
