Quiet, serene, and simply awesome. Highly recommended. If you dont have a Stanford ID, try the back door next to the reflective pool: it is sometimes ajar.

A valuable contribution of quiet space in the midst of a busy campus, Windhover is a peaceful meditation center on Stanford campus. It has an outside labyrinth open to all but the interior is card-access for students, staff, faculty and their guests. There are cushions available for sitting contemplation but with only a couple of flat benches, there is no option if you need any sort of back support or chair. There is mainly glass looking out in trees and one large piece of abstract art to keep the focus on calming the mind. A small enclosed reflection pool/pond area gives an outside spot to pause. Occasional classes occur but the main idea is for free access self use.
