Absolutely amazing! Highly recommend! Tonight was our first time there and we met the owners and operators Jill and Stewart and they were wonderful! Super friendly and helpful and made the entire experience perfect. We did the VR escape room and Im definitely going back. Such a blast and a fun date night. Until next time!

I went with my kids and boyfriend and we had a great time. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. Great 60 mins we spent out the house due to covid. I definitely recommend everyone should go and enjoy a time out from being home.

A group of friends and I played Time Chasers and had a great time. Very cool room with lots to interact with and and exciting use of multiple rooms that really added to the story and adventure. I would highly recommend visiting trapt if you are in the area.

In lieu of being able to visit in person, Trapts online escape room was fun and well thought out! It was appropriately challenging (they give you hints if you need them) and the puzzles kept us entertained and excited when we figured out the next code. I look forward to being able to travel and trying their rooms!

Trapt is one of the best escape rooms we have ever been to. They have the most variety of things to do so we have been able to come back now four times and still can come back plenty more times and do completely different things. I highly recommend the VR experiences. We wrote them off at first but after giving it a try, our minds are completely changed and we want to do every single game. We will absolutely be returning soon as it has turned into a regular date night for us! Thank you Stuart!

I have visited twice for the VR escape experience and it was so much fun!

We had a ton of fun at Museum Mayhem. Our host was gracious enough to make some last minute changes to accommodate us and we had such a blast! This was one of the nicest Escape Room venues wed ever been to. It is spacious and clean with a great waiting area, and the rooms are well-maintained. I wont say much about the room itself but Id highly recommend it and any other puzzle at this great spot. Thanks again!

My wife and I stopped here on a drive through Stamford due to the reviews and awards they have gotten. The owner is very active on Facebook groups promoting escape rooms in general and even recommending rooms for competitors because of how much he loves escape rooms. His wife worked the night we played Museum Mayhem and was also very passionate about escape rooms and we loved talking with her. We picked Museum Mayhem due to it being slightly different than other escape rooms, as well as the time we had available to finish the room and definitely both of us left feeling the room was awesome. Definitely pushed our limits with just two and being late at night (brains not cooperating) but had a very good flow and cool designs. I would recommend trapt to anyone in the area.

Had this been my first escape room, I don’t think I would have done a second. Although the concept and room designs were okay, because there were so many people in the room, my family couldn’t even participate half of the time. This room allowed up to 10 people, and even with 9, there were several areas where not all members could fit in the same spot. My family spent half of the time watching the escape room being solved, versus actually participating in escaping the room. The maximum allowed in this room should only be 6, if the company really wants the participants to enjoy the experience. By making this a room for up to 10, the company prioritized profit over customer satisfaction. Escape rooms are only fun if you can be a part of the action, hence this was not fun. It is too expensive of an afternoon to sit on the sidelines watching others.

Really clean and interactive environment. Room was adventurous and not easy at all. It was a thrilling 60 mins and the staff went above and beyond to make our experience a good time. Can’t wait to go back !!

Had a blast at escape the madman—we did not succeed, but it was so much fun! The owner (woman) was extremely welcoming—she was more than happy to talk with us afterwards too. The place is a hidden gem... will definitely be back

I have done a couple of escape rooms spanning from North Carolina to Maryland, and I have to say this location is probably the best escape room in terms of design, technology, and creativity. We were a group of 5 people and we did the Time Chasers: Race for the Cure. Unfortunately, we did not escape the room, however that did not lessen our wonderful experience. Everything was great up until the end when we were greeted by our game master who asked us if we had a great time to which we happily replied yes. Afterward, he led us to the lobby to take our picture and mentioned it was going to be sent to one of us and promptly left without saying anything else. We were slightly confused as to whether he was going to provide something else, but instead we saw him walk into another room. We did not think this interaction would have affected our entire experience because it seems such a minimal tasks for the host to provide friendly service or treat us like valuable customers. In other escape room experiences, the game master would point out what we did well, what we could have improved on, and/or encourage/welcome us back to do other rooms. I can understand if the game master may have been busy with another room, but maybe that should have been communicated. At the very least, he could have given us a proper farewell to which he did not. We would come back to try other rooms, but with a game master like that, probably not.

We had so much fun (4 adults, 3 kids) doing Museum Mayhem! The room was challenging, but the 9 and 10 year olds were still able to actively participate in the problem solving. We also enjoyed debriefing and chatting with the owners at the end- it’s clear that they are so passionate about what they do and really work hard to make the best possible experience for their visitors. I would definitely recommend Trap’t if you’re looking for a fun outing with family or friends!

Our son (16) and 6 of his friends had the best time in the Virtual Reality escape room. They are planning on going back as soon as possible to do the others! The owners of trapt’ed could not have been nicer and more accommodating!! Great experience!

Great adventure! Staff was great. Went with 6 12-yr old for a party. Did the Abducted room which sounds scary, but its about working together to solve the clues to get the locks open to get to the next room. It is not claustrophobic. Highly recommend!

My son & I have completed every room as well as VR available at this location. That said we would not be returning if service wasnt amazing. We have had a great time each visit. The most current we went over the hour completion time & the staff still let us finish the room without interruption. Looking forward to the next release in a few weeks!

We (2 adults and a group of 12 year old boys) recently did the Time Chasers room, and had a blast. The experience was intricate and well laid out, and we were all impressed by the different levels that were involved. This was our 3rd time at an escape room, and this was the best one so far. Our guide was also very helpful, which made it a great experience for the group. Thanks!

Very fun experience. We completed the Madman escape room. Four people in my group, five in the group with us. It was a very clever game with some very fun problems to solve. The one thing is that I believe 9 people was too many for this scenario.

Incredible experience! Ive been multiple times in different room each time, and the thrill is always different. The puzzles are difficult, but the staff watches your every move to make sure you dont get too stuck (if you ask for that, of course). Theyre very friendly and I always have a great time

First time doing an escape room! SO awesome...we loved the premise of being thrown into a closet with a madman and it was a perfect family activity for us. Would definitely come back!

We did Museum Mayhem and had a blast. It was my 2nd escape room ever and my uncle’s 1st time. It was just the two of us and the staff provided us with the full experience despite our small group of 2. The room was challenging but fun- the perfect mix. Would love to try another one of their rooms next time I’m in the area.

This was my first escape room experience but it was great fun. The rooms and clues were very challenging and clever, but our group managed to escape at the last minute! Very exciting and a very reasonable price for the amount of fun we had. We loved the extras, like the group picture. The staff was very helpful when we needed a few accommodations.

I and my boyfriend visited this place few time and we like it more and more. We played there escape room and virtual reality escape room.Last time a we tried new VR escape room - Huxley, this game is different from the Escape the Lost Pyramid. It is more about solving puzzles and moving anther step, but we like solving puzzles. You can find out how good team you are with your boyfriend, husband or friends. We can wait for new games come in. We are coming back.

It was so much fun - definitely more inclined to adults. The only reason I did not give a 5 start rating is that I think the pricing is a little inflated. It was $100.00 for a family of 3 for an hour of fun...

Doing a VR escape room was such a fun event! I have done normal escape rooms and this took it to the next level. The staff was also very helpful and friendly!

I took my girlfriend here to do the our first VR escape room experience. We did Escape the lost Pyramid.I was concerned my girlfriend would not enjoy the VR or have trouble getting used to it but she ended up loving it and I was surprised by how much you have to interact with the other person in order to progress. I was afraid since it was VR one person would be pulling the weight the whole time but it was really well balance because you need each other in order to progress through the experience.I also went another time for one of the regular escape rooms the mystery museum and it was a blast. We were a group of four and it was such a unique experience.I would definitely go again. I also love the fact that it is family run. The couple that runs it are so welcoming and hospitable and you can tell they really enjoy what they are doing. All that passion transfers into a great unique experience and I will definitely be back for more!

The escape room was fun and challenging, but the lukewarm service took out one star. We went there for my sons birthday party starting at 5:00 pm. When we got there 5 minutes earlier for decoration, the door was closed until we called the owner. After about 10 minutes while guests were already waiting outside Jill came and opened the door without any apology. As a couple running business, Jill, the wife, delivered more frowns than smiles in our party while Stuart, the husband, was quite warm and nice.

I did the Museum Mayhem in a group of 6 (2 of which were doing an escape room for the first time) and we escaped in about 45 minutes. I enjoyed it. Theming was good, but not great. I didnt find any one puzzle extremely difficult and I think if we had a group of 6 enthusiasts this room wouldve been a little too easy. So on that note, this is a good room especially if you are a little newer to escape rooms. Based on what Ive heard, looking forward to trying the Time Chasers room next time!

Weve played these games all over the country and this was one of the most clever. Definitely needed the number of people recommended as there are a lot of moving parts. Well designed and well thought out. The rooms were also done with great care. Would highly recommend this to a non-novice.

My boyfriend and I are from Long Island, but we decided to take a little day trip to go hiking in Connecticut. After our hike we were sitting at dinner trying to decide what to do for the rest of the day, because we didn’t want to go home yet, and stumbled upon Trap’t. Now we love escape rooms, we’ve done probably 25-30 of them, and Trap’t was definitely one of the best! It was high tech, with a spacious room and the theme was very cool. The clues were all really cool, and none of them get disappointing when we figured them out. We played “Time Chasers: Race for the Cure” with a group of four others. We go out with 3 minutes and 16 seconds to spare, and we absolutely loved it! If we ever find ourselves back in Connecticut, we know where we’re going!

I know we are probably the 1st to give a bad review. We had nothing but problems from the start. We were giving bad rules/guidelines. We were told that all clues to leave a room were either in the room we were in or the 1 we just left. But NOT so. Also I have done numerous escape rooms and this one had way to many dead end clues. Wasted way to much time figuring out what clues were real and which ones were meaningless! Wont be going back and wont be recommending it. Sorry but fool me once.......... WOW after talking personally on the pone with the owner, I will change my rating. He was willing to hear me out, not to change my mind but to honestly take everything I said to make sure there would be no miscommunications next time. Some of my group WILL be going back, because we are not quitters and we really do want to have a great time! The 5 stars are for the managements/owner wanting to make sure everyone had a great time and if not try to understand how they could in the future. This is a rare quality that I have only seen a few times, when the owner of a company treats its customers with TRUE respect! Thanks Stewart (hope thats how you spell your name)

We’ve been here twice. The 2 best escape roos weve ever played and we’ve played a lot.

VR was cool. Wear sneakers, learned the hard way at the end of the game the worker opened the door when I had on the goggles and couldn’t see anything and broke 3 of my toes opening the door on them. Game should shut off and players should be able to take goggles off themselves before anyone opens the door because someone could get seriously hurt like I did. Great experience besides that.

My friends and I did the cure chaser escape room and it was awesome! This is our second time back and we would love to do all! Very challenging & I love that it’s not just one single room.

Better than expected. Harder than expected. And they still let us see how the rest of it played out (even though our group totally failed to solve it in an hour). Fantastic date idea. Definitely better in a group, but we could see ourselves going through it as a twosome.

I went there with three teenagers. We did the Find a Cure/Time Chasers room and it was SOOOO cool. We didnt realize this was the hardest room, and thankfully we got some hints to help us through. It was my first time in an escpae room and I had no idea what to expect. It was def a lot of fun, just expensive. It was $135 for four people for one hour. Shout out to the awesome staff! They were really nice!

The experience and facility is first rate. I was very impressed with the depth of the challenge, and the attention to detail in all of the various rooms. I would really like to see an additional 30 minutes added to the time, as I think we would have finished. Given the depth of this challenge, if you havent done an escape room before . . . its REALLY difficult to finish in the allotted time. My family and I will definitely be going again to experience the other rooms!!!

These escape rooms are next-level! So fun and intricate. We were a group of 4 and were paired with 2 other people. It was great! They have a place to lock up your belongings which is nice. Will definitely be back to try another room!

DID THE MADMAN ROOM FOR MY DAUGHTERS 14TH BIRTHDAY WITH 8 OF HER FRIENDS. WORTH EVERY PENNY SPENT...THEY ESCAPED WITH 52 SECONDS LEFT AND HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST. THEY COULD NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT AND DESCRIBING EVERY ROOM FOR THE REST AF THE NIGHT. GREAT EXPERIENCE AND SUPPORT STAFF WAS EXCELLENT!

The VR escape rooms are fully immersive and thrilling! Great for practicing problem solving and team building among loved ones, friends, or co-workers.

Our group had booked for a group of 5 for the time chasers room and were excited for the experience since we had some first timers. We were put together with another group of 5 and did not fully experience the challenge since many of them were aggressive in wanting to solve every puzzle. Our group took a back seat role as we observed for the most part. The experience would have been great if we had the room to ourselves or people who understands teamwork.We would have mentioned it to the staff, but they were in a hurry and didnt seem to value our experience.

This was my first room escape and I really enjoyed every part of it! The staff was welcoming when we got there and extremely friendly on our way out. This escape definitely had a lot of thought put into it and forced me to use my brain in ways I havent had to in a long time. I cant wait to go back and try their other rooms!

A unique challenge for a group party!

Great time with family and friends. Good idea for a team or corporate department. Very challenging and yet fun!!! We will be back.

I had booked the Time Chasers room and it was definitely difficult; however, my friends had LOTS of fun! The room was decorated perfectly to its futuristic theme and each room could have been its own escape room. The different worlds you travel to definitely felt like you were in that world. I had such a great time and I cant wait to go back again to try the other rooms!

The staff was very friendly and the experience was top notch. I have done a few escape rooms and this one was by far the best. At the time of this review, we did their hardest room and the staff made it very enjoyable. The theme and additional rooms off of the main room was a very creative twist to an escape room and my family and I enjoyed it. I would definitely return and would recommend this to anyone who enjoys escape rooms.

My friends and I went for a girls night out and yad an amazing time. Boy, I never realized what a competitive bunch of friends I have.

From the parking lot, you wonder if you are in the right place; but as soon as you get inside Trapt, it is a great place to be! Clean, bright, interesting and welcoming. And thats just the foyer! Our family of 4 completed the Art Museum. Challenging enough for 2 teens, and clear enough that we could solve th puzzles. Great bonding experience. Strongly recommend it!

This would have been a fun experience, but we were a small group that got placed with a larger group of people we didn’t know. It’s a tough thing to work through as a group of strangers. Something to keep in mind if you only have one or 2 other people in your group.

This was the first time I tried an escape room so I cant compare this one with any other. I enjoyed it and some people with me who have done other escape rooms said that this was a very good one. We were a group of 7 trying Museum Mayhem. The puzzles were varied and challenging but everyone in my group enjoyed them and we all worked well together. We successfully escaped the rooms and felt a sense of accomplishment. The hosts/owners were very friendly and helpful in explaining everything we needed to know beforehand. I will be returning to try their other room.

My partner and I had our birthdays here.we had about 16 guests so we ended up doing 2 rooms. One group did the Time Chasers and the other group did Museum Mayhem. Everyone had a great time and we all want to go back.

We just completed our 3rd room at Trapt. Whats unique about Trapt is that its obvious that these are no cookie cutter rooms. So much goes into setting them up and making it a challenging, yet fun, experience for all players. We were a group of teens and adults and found Time Chasers to be awesome (could be difficult if you are a first-time player). All rooms are really unique and the staff is great in guiding you through them if you are stuck...or just need a little help. Each room is very different. If you’re unsure about whats best for your group, give them a call and then go for it. Great family outing, ladies/guys night out, birthday party or special event location. Will return soon to try their Virtual Reality.

We went for my sisters birthday. we did the abducted room. we had a full party of 10 people. there was plenty of room for the entire group. the game was challenging enough to keep us entertained with out being too difficult. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the facilities are very clean. this was my third escape room experience and be far my favorite one. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to have a great time. totally worth it.

Not sure why they chose to open a new location when weve been waiting for the new game at the stamford location for years. I feel bad that I gave my money to this money hungry establishment once, but wont do it again. Take care of your customers.

Was really fun! Worth the money!! Very friendly group of people who work there, and they explain and answer all question you have about the room you are going to be in. In my opinion, I think the one I was doing should of had maybe about 20 more minutes to do (there was 4 people). The hints that were given are GREAT! they make you think, but are a target. One thing that I did not like was at the end they walked you through on how to get out without asking if you wanted to know. I wish they didnt because it would given me the choice of coming back soon and trying the same one again to try to get out.

Quite a fun adventure for a really bargain price. I tried their race against time room and it was great. Needed some clues here and there but puzzles are not too complicated. I would recommend this place any day.
