Growing up in Spokane, we visited the Campbell House often and remember when some of the museum exhibits were still on display in a couple of the upstairs bedrooms. The restoration of the home is magnificent and the tour guide was knowledgeable. Recommended.
Great experience. Staff great. So many little things to that you might not even notice.
What GREAT history! Taken several family members from out of state here and they LOVED IT!
The young man who did our tour was extremely knowledgeable! He was able to answer so many questions quiet literally impossible to stump! The mansion is beautiful as well, they even do weddings there! Definitely check it out.
OK if you have nothing fun to do
It was really cool
Definitely worth a stop. Take time to see all there is and a great place to teach kids about early 20th Century and comes with the price of admission with the MAC. There is a permanent feature. Very nice staff, lots of free parking, plenty of places to eat nearby, and lots of beautiful homes in the surrounding neighborhood do make this museum worth a stop.
I have a feeling Im going to have so much fun with my dad havent been anywhere with him for a while
This visit was really fun and my family and I learned a ton. The Campbell house is amazing! I was was so fascinated by the dates, the events, and the Campbells.
The Campbell house is a fun tour of a historic Spokane home and visiting the MAC museum next door is a fun, educational, and cultural experience.
Very interesting historic mansion to tour through. Very informed your guides. Learned about the family, the restoration of the house to as much original as possible. Also learned some of the early history of Spokane.
The volunteers have a lot of knowledge we enjoy hearing him talk.
Campbell House is located in a plush neighborhood of Spokane. It is a very good example of the houses of the period of the late 1800s and early 1900s.
It was still closed as well as the museum.
Incredible Tudor revival mansion in Brownes Addition. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and are able to paint a vivid picture of life during the turn of the 20th century. The Christmas activities are fun, with living history actors and activities for kids. The only two things I would change: open up the servants quarters on the 3rd floor and make it possible to purchase admission only to the Campbell house without buying admission to the museum.
I just love this house! I grew up going to this museum as field trips for school. Every time I would get so excited! I highly recommend this tour and if anyone wants more history hit me up!
I love this house and everything about it. I however, did not like the tour guide, he said he didnt care about the interior design or anything inside the house. Only talked about the people who lived there. Thats nice and all, but some of us enjoy how the house looks and wants to know about the interior. He wasnt very nice to the elderly tourist, was very rude, my friend and I were a few minutes late and he was making comments the whole time about how late we were even tho it was three mins. I do remember his name. I just hope when I go back that I do not get him.
Great way to capture the essence of old Spokane
A glimpse into Spokanes past. Well preserved & presented
Great display of Victorian and Progressive lifestyle and housing of the wealthy in the early 1900s in Spokane, WA. Love the artifacts.
It had been a LONG time since I had been. Much more of the home is available to see now since then.
Nice historic house. Tours are great when they have them.
Beautiful and welcoming... a great tour with a guide that knew everything about the history of this fine home...
Extraordinary house! A must see decorated at Christmas time.
This place is full of History if you havent been here you got to go take the tour it is well worth it youre not going to regret it the house is absolutely amazing and youre going to learn a lot
Well restore, great tour guides.
Very nice tour, tour guide was legit and played the part very well!
This place has a lot of History come and see for yourself I did wen you do you will see what I mean thanks Campbell House
The house is beautiful however we went to see the Titanic. Being given a ticket and allowed to see if you live or die at the end brings not only the ship but the people who lost so much to life.
What an amazing house!! The craftsmanship of building this house is unbelievable... I loved it.!!
Amazing history to see here!
Beautiful home! Great tour!
Very informative tour and beautifully preserved home.
Beautiful and historic...wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide.
Museum set in a historic house. Great displays and the volunteer staff were really knowledgeable. I learned a lot and really enjoyed my visit.
Super cool!
We got lucky and got a personal tour. Its like stepping back in time. Wonderful place to visit. We happened upon it and were so glad we did.
Learned so many in testing stories about the history of the Spokane area.
The main house and carriage house are fabulous. Restoration and upkeep is incredible. The tour guide was not well versed in historical facts, not to the specific names of tools and architecture, which lead to too many personal thoughts that were inaccurate. His voice was dry and monotonous. He was not responsive to the adults in the group and our questions. I am a visitor, so wont have the opportunity to visit again, which is a shame.
Omg....it is soo beautiful. I love looking at the rooms. I would go again and again to see this house. Its amazing. And to learn its history is even cooler.
Wonderful house!
What a Wonderful House beautiful house wonderful experience to be in an old home to imagine how it was like back then!!!!
Wonderful to experience history in-person. Highly recommend.
