Lots of cool stuff about the Native Americans and colonists that lived near there. What they traded, how they made stuff, their food sources, and many other things. There is a tour guide that is quite helpful and can explain something you dont know.

We had a good time visiting the live fur trade symposium where the fur trappers from NWC came and set up their camp. It was very educational and fun to talk to the traders in the camp and learn about our northwest history in Spokane.

We had a great time hiking here! Easy short trail mostly along the gorgeous river. The House was fascinating, we loves learning about the early explorers and fur trading and seeing all the taxidermy and the interactive exhibits.

I knew of but didnt fully appreciate the role Spokane River played in Native American life until visiting here. Not only local but regional gatherings. Insight into the importance of fur trading commerce.
