After 2 months of quarantine, it was nice to spend some time outside. It was easy to social distance when we had the run of the beautiful gardens. There so many nooks and crannies to explore!Only 2 shops were open in the complex, but we took the time to enjoy the gardens because nobody (except the gardeners) was there !
I drove past this location many many times before without realising what a gem this is.Aside from the tasting rooms and tourist shops there are beautifully designed and maintained gardens. Picnic tables. Benches to sit and be with nature.Well worth a visit or just a pit-stop on the way to Napa or wherever.
Nice area despite impact of covid in 2020
Nice spot for tasting different wines, food was a bit small for the price though.
Stopped in in August of 2019 as a break from driving on my little road trip. It was such a great choice to stop here. Went wine tasting at Meadowcroft Wines and had the coolest tasting associate. I then went around to the shops and found the best coaster to puchase for my work desk. Walking around the grounds was such a highlight. Each landscape design is a work of art!
Good food nice shops great except for Corona virus
Great place to browse, walk the gardens, eat, drink and enjoy the day. Tip... Garden closes at 4. Shops at 5.
We were driving to Sonoma downtown and came across this property. We were pleasantly surprised since its actually a good find where the gardens and the shops were pretty unique. Hey, cant beat the free admission fee for sure. We didnt eat at the restaurant and nor drink at the wineries though. Plenty of parking spaces. Overall, its a good walk on a nice sunny day.
Attended a wedding here. Absolutely awesome view and delicious food. Great venue.
What I love about Cornerstone are the gardens. Theres a pollinator garden designed by Kate Frey that is a wonderful inspiration for Northern California gardeners. Throughout the gardens you can find interesting and beautiful art and also some peaceful places to rest on a bench and watch the world pass by.
Wow its a nice place to spend with my family
Enjoyed the variety of trying a distillery, as well as wine which we could walk off in the lovely gardens!
Georgous place, very relaxing and delicious sandwiches
Great Cafe, quaint shops, and the gardens are Fantastic!
Perfect spot to spend a few hours! Great food options, nice wineries (especially Obsidian!) and an amazing garden.
Love this place. Go about once a month or so to walk around the gardens and check out all the stores and then eat at Park 121. Yum.
Gardens now are blooming at their fullest. Peaceful place to be. Restaurants and shops.
Such a lovely spot: tasting rooms, Sunset Garden, restaurant, fun shops... youll love your visit here!
Sunset gardens are free and beautiful. It is a great way to get some landscaping inspiration. Most of the merchandise is overpriced but the wine selections are stellar and the food is noteworthy.
Fun outdoor art and stores and artisan gins and wine. Great place to enjoy an afternoon.
Lovely grounds and some very unique shops and tasting rooms. Great little restaurant too, park 121
We were so happy to find this place for our Sunday outing. We live in the area, but never knew about Cornestone. We will be telling everyone now. Gorgeous gardens, great shopping and the food at Park 121 was excellent. The outside seating was so special. Olive trees shade, food and wine go together so well!
Was a 5 star review until the property manager got involved. Rude, unaccommodating and aggressive. I used to deejay at weddings here and now that I have a family of my own. I started bringing my wife and mother in law here every mother’s day and I would watch the kids in the outside areas while the moms had wine. This grew to include our close friends and their children and even their mother’s. Many of us joined the wineries and it became a tradition until we were confronted by one of the property managers. Last year on Mother’s Day this rude gentleman named Joe decided to ruin mother’s day for our group. Apparently laying a blanket in the grass damages the grounds. Well we obeyed his wishes to move to a more hardscaped area and tried to salvage mother’s day for our wives and mother’s. We even tried to comply with the dictator of a manager by asking if we could pay for and reserve a spot in the area that we were moved to. This somehow triggered joe to send the “rules” of the property not once, but on two separate occasions as if our group had violated them in some year before. Even after asking, the gentleman could not verify that we had broken any rules on our last visit. Our request to pay for services was rudely dismissed and when asked about the aggressive tone there has to this day been no reply. Good job Joe, you have just offended a affluent group of people, many with daughters that could have been interested in having a wedding on the property. Paying members of wineries on the property that now will probably be less inclined to continue their memberships. Pick your battles Joe, you rude little man. Because this time you chose poorly.
Beautiful gardens. Nice shops and restaurant. A little pricey.
After seeing few friends taking pictures at the big chair, I decided to go there. Its really a beautiful complex which has visitors center, wine tasting, garden and restaurants. Its a cute little corner with bunch of things. And they do weddings and other events there.
Great Sunset garden demo site
I went to Cornerstone for a Tomato Mania Festival and was pleasantly surprised at what I found. The Cornerstone Garden is beautifully designed with many large modern sculptures scattered throughout the garden. Each sculpture was perfectly designed and placed at each location. There was a zen-like quality about the space. I highly recommend taking a walk through the gardens if you are in Sonoma. There are many great wineries nearby so it makes for a great excursion to Sonoma.
Recommended by a closer friend. Nice space for day trips and as a party venue. The have small shops selling anything from clothes to antiques. The entire area is dog friendly. The gardens have a barn used as a reception area. The artwork is unique. Park 121 is the restaurant on site. There are multiple tasting areas so you can easily spend the day there.
Some of the gardens are in need of a refresh, but still a great visit and nice spot to stop for lunch.
Awesome outdoor museum in Sonoma! I absolutely love all of their art pieces, and how it fits so perfectly with the nature outdoors. You can literally spend all day here and still not get enough of it. Everything is so curiously beautiful! Take your loved ones here and youre sure to have a day to remember!
These are the picturesque Sunset Gardens located just outside of Sonoma, CA. A perfect opportunity for artistic photography.

Relaxing, small shops, great gardens, great casual restaurant with farm fresh, unique clothing, local wines. One of Sonoma county best kept secrets!
We came to see the gardens & were very glad we did. It had a more architectural flair thats not common in most gardens. Didnt plan on eating there, but, decided to try Park 121. We had the tri-tip & the hamburger and were totally pleased with them.
Lovely gardens and landscape art. Got there at 10am and left at noon on a weekday. Very relaxing

Very friendly staff Beautiful must see Gardens
We happened upon this place on accident waiting for a tasting room to open. Ended up spending a couple hours exploring the amazing grounds with amazing artistic gardens.
There are so many things to love about Cornerstone! Great wedding venue, great staff, superb art, wine.
An odd mix of retail, food and wine, this has never felt like it really found its niche but I think it gets a little closer every time I visit. I think it needs an anchor store to attract visitors.
Delightfully varied experiences and choices of wine producers.
Meadowcroft Wines new releases pick up party.
No big deal. Gardens were closed.
Awesome venue for a wedding!
Great place for a day trip
Beautiful dog friendly grounds.
Casual, delicious lunch and brownies.
Great gardens, food and wine!
This series of shops galleries tasting rooms and restaurants features outdoor sculpture garden with many native plants
Park 121 restaurant staff is apathetic. We were told to sit anywhere and the wait person never came to our table.
The shops are expensive, there is only one bathroom and its not in the restaurant, its windy and its boring. Keep driving :(
Poor quality rental skates hurt kids feet in 30 min! Change the ice rink contractor!
Beautiful place.
Love it so much
Awesome and calming
