I take my dog every week! He loves it. It was a great place to socialize him when he was a puppy.

This park has two sections to separate the large and the smaller dogs. Me and my dog Captain have been several times and its always well kept. Keep in mind, its just flat ground. Id say the large dog section is about an acre and the small dog section is under an acre. People are friendly and most keep their dogs in line. There are a few holes that you need to watch out for, no one needs a twisted ankle, but other than that, highly recommend this dog park for your furry friends.

Good size park! If you want to socialize your dog, it’s best to go after 5:30 Pm. That’s when there are the most people there. There is a small dog area and large dog area. It’s honestly perfect. A lot of nice people.

Love a good burger. No, wait. My dog is good and tired. The place was great. Its a good size for the dogs to run.

One of the nicest parks I’ve been to in Smyrna. The dog owners are usually really friendly and express lots of joy watching their fur babies having fun and interacting with other dogs. The only downside is the dirt section that can become muddy. My doodle usually gets a bath after our visit and so does my car lol

Pleasant enough. This is a fairly large dog park with two separate areas for big and small dogs. They have a nice water station. There is limited seating but who sits at a dog park, am I right? We’ve had mixed experiences with park-goers; we’ve encountered a few unfriendly dogs and several old, grumpy dogs. Your results may vary.

“Park” would be nice but beware of people and dogs. Ratchet disrespectful and loud. And aggressive.

This is a very well maintained doggy park. There are two separate areas for large and small dogs. There is a water fountain and there are always plenty of poo bags available in the dispensers. The grass is always mowed, and the pet owners I have encountered have all been responsible and friendly. My dog loves the dog-shaped fire hydrant, located in the middle of the small dog area. He loves it here!

If you live in the Smyrna area and want to take your pups to a clean well kept park, this is the place to go. They have two sides, one for larger dogs and one for smaller. Both have water supplies and safety entrances, this allows you to bring in your dog and keep others from escaping . There are benches for the humans and lots of space for every little and big fido to roam around. They also supply the bags for those moments your dogs claims his/her territory. There is a porta-potty on site for the human folk. We love taking our dogs there. The happy smiles on their furry mugs tells it all.

It’s a nice park to go hang out with your dog, my dog has be coming here since he was 3weeks he’s now 2yrs old, sadly today I’ve decided my dog will not be coming back here.On Sunday December 8,2019 around 4pm my dog was attacked by a Irish wolfhound Named Griffith for no reason, the owner was not able to control her dog physically or voice control per the rules on the gate. I had to take my dog to the hospital immediately and he received sutures and was shaved to check for infections. Please people have control of your dogs.

Lovely dog park! When we go in the mornings there is not a lot of shade in small dog area but its nice having the benches. It is also nice to have the water station and the stool bag dispenser.

Great dog park with 2 sections and plenty of space. Water and poop bags are provided. This dog park is really nice to visit in the morning before there is a lot of sun or other people and dogs.

Dont get me wrong, the park is nice and I go here all the time, however it turns into a mud pit for days after it rains. There are also some people who just go insane any time a dog so much as barks at another dog. Most people are pretty chill though.

We love this place and our dog Louie goes nuts with excitement every time we take him. Wish we lived closer! There are usually lots of other dogs for Louie to run around and play with and the owners are considerate save one nasty woman whom we havent seen in a while. There is a park for large dogs and one for small dogs. Also a people water fountain and one for dogs. Really nice!

Its an ok park. Has separate areas for big dogs and little dogs. But after it rains its very muddy. I slipped and fell into doggie poop. Needless to say, both my dog and I got baths afterward.

Always (almost! Very RARE exceptions!!) Well behaved pupps, and somewhat well behaved owners... Just kidding! Everyone in Smyrna is chill and kind and considerate!!!

Great dog park

This would be a great 5 star park if they could improve the drainage in the large dog area. It stays very soggy and muddy after a rain for days.Other than that, its a very nice dog park. Large fenced in areas for large (over 30# ) and small ( under 30#) dogs with multiple poop bags/trash stations and water fountains. There is a fire hydrant for the small dogs, but should be for the bigger dogs. I take my dog at least once a day. Parking can get limited during holidays/weekends. There is also a Porta potty for the humans.

Today was great weather, there were lots of dogs out to play with .....and good pet parents to hang out with.

Drove to 3 dog parks and finally found one with dogs and all small. My puppy loves dogs. Within 1 minute “Stanley” attacks my puppy 2x and the owner admits he’s a bully but doesn’t mean any harm. Huh? Waste of a morning. That owner should have left or put a leash on her bully

Good Smyrna dog park Pros: Its huge. There is SO much space for your dogs to run with a partition between the small and large dog areas. They are working on making it nicer (re-growing grass, pouring concrete pads at gate entrances) which makes a big difference. 1 water fountain per side (dog and human). 2 benches on small dog side, 1 bench on large, both shaded. Usually a good atmosphere; just keep an eye out cause not everyone does.Cons: Those who stay for a while usually bring chairs because there are few benches. Far side of the park gets shade only later in the afternoon. Water pressure in fountains kind of sucks. Entrance is a little steep, narrow, and uneven. Parking can be challenging on a busy weekend.Overall my go to, but theres definitely room for improvement.

Major sewage leak in the small dog area. Its getting bigger now and no one has tried to fix it

Great place to let your dog run

I hope theres some grass, shades when is summer time and benches for elderly people to seat. Bathroom will be great too. The regular people who attends the park are great! They deserve a better Park.

Nice and clean park... good parking and good side street location. No restrooms just a porta potty so go before you leave home!

This use to be a great place to go to take your dog to have some fun but lately people have been bring more aggressive dogs causing a lot of fights and expensive vet bills add some cameras or have someone to reinforce the rules

First time taking my dog Sandy to park. Lots of nice fellow dog owners. Nice space for large dogs though I would avoid park after rain as it gets quite muddy.

So far I’ve had a great experience here . The people I have encountered have all been very friendly . I like the small dog area for my little 12 pounder . There is plenty of space for her to run and lots of pup friends to play with but not to over crowded at the times I went .

I have been bringing my 2 maltipoos here quite often and this morning I may not ever again. The dividing fence is loose along with the gate getting from one side to the other is also loose enough for any sized dog to get through. Unfortunately someones lil Westie was viciously attacked and a horrible scene to watch from any dog owner. A man let his dog come into the park with an aggressive behavior to start and that dog was determined to kill as he ran straight for the fence where the little ones were on the other side. . Well bc the fence was loose he was able to do just that, squeezed under it and grabbed hold of a small Westie. My heart broke for the injured pup and he cried all the way to the car after he dropped from the jaws of the other. And the dogs owner who did the attacking nonchalantly walked to get his dog out of the small dog side. If I go here again and see him or his aggressive dog I will call the police. He has no business being there and I hope the Westie will be ok. I have noticed several people with aggressive larger dogs coming and it is stated they arent allowed. So if Im there and theres an aggressive dog Ill just call the police. We dont need other dogs and their families to go through another horrific attack like the one today. Maybe someone can work on getting these fences reinforced and the gate to close tighter. So awful.

Fun dog park. Been going for over a year and love the people and fur kids. My little monster is too much Frenchie for the small side. But people are chill at the bigger dog side. Only downside is it needs some upkeep, not horrible.Has:*Big and small dog side. (Big side on left, small on right)*Double door entrances*Water fountains on each side.*Benches in shade with plenty of mosquitoes. LOL*Ample parking*Porta potties*Free dog poo bags*Lots of abandoned balls! Haha

Classic open field dog park with lots of space. Separate areas for small and large dogs. The large dog area can get a little dusty when it gets dry, and has some muddy spots when it gets wet.

Nice secluded dog park. Very grassy. Friendly owners and dogs.

Clean, plenty of fresh water (clever dog-and-human combo fountain), poop bags and trash cans. Even a clean port-a- potty for owners. NO POOP ON THE GROUND! Considerate people use this park.

Friendly people and fun time for larger dogs

Great off-leash dog park. Decent size gravel lot for parking and plenty of space for dogs to run. Large and small dog areas, though the grass does turn to mud in the winter and spring pretty quickly. Not great when wet out and the grass is gone, otherwise is pretty great.

No dogs, no people the day we went. Looks nice, fenced in, lots of grass.

I took my yorkie there this morning. Glad no-one else was there. Gave her and I the opportunity to check out the place to make sure it is secure for my escape artist. The only reason I didnt give this a 5 star rating is the poo....and its everywhere! Granted this is a dog park and thats one of the things dogs do but their human parents should be more responsible and respectful of others and pick up after their babies! There are FREE poop bags everywhere and disposals bins so there is no reason other than laziness not to clean up. Other than that its suitable for my needs. I will be back hopefully at a time where other furbabies will be there for her to play with and brush up on her socialization skills.

Good park with separate fenced areas for small and large dogs. Poop bags usually available. A trough with a fresh water spigot. Minimal seating and shade. Some folks using the large dog side do not keep as close an eye on their dogs as they should.

Very nice dog park! Small dog and large dog area. Good self closing gates. Only thing is benches are a bit high.. So we like to bring our own chairs. Ample parking!

It just a basic park- fenced in grass. No trees in the large dog fence so its very hot in the summer and minimal seating for dog parents. Plan to bring your own tennis ball too.

Nice place to bring a burger

10am-11:30am on the weekends seems to be the best times to visit on the weekends for the largest packs. Usually very responsible owners at this location. Only 1 issue with a boxer that the owner didnt really watch close enough. Otherwise, great for my very social fur babies.

Great hidden dog park

Bad experienceMy puppy got bitten by another young dog (10-months old). First they were playing just fine. When my puppy was lying on his back the other dog got aggressive (I still dont understand why). He bit my puppy (under the eye).The owner didnt offer to give me her contact information. She just disappeared after asking if my puppy is alright.I guess I should have been more assertive.Always ask for the contact info (in case of vet bills etc.).Size of dog park is ok.

Pro. Many people clearly use the park is the densely populated area. Con. No drainage equals muddy loose dirt and there are zero trees for shade on hot days.

This place is good but could be so much more. Water stations, sitting area, pool stations, restrooms. Where are the obstacles, where is the doggy pool? I wish it to be a rec centre for dogs.

My dog got kennel cough after coming here. Never again. Also pet parents need to look after their dogs. I did not like that my dog was constantly trying to get away from an annoying little humper. We couldnt even play ball with that little dog in the way.

Great place with lots of awesome dogs.. Separate play areas for big and small dogs.. Bring your own water if ur visiting during the winter because they turn the pipes off to prevent bursts..

This is a dog park. The people are all very nice and there are always lots of dogs. There are also doggy water fountains and poop bag dispensers. The park is sectioned off so that the smaller dogs do not have to be in the same area as the larger breeds. All things considered its an excellent place to bring your dog to exercise and you will never be short on people to talk to.

Grassy fenced in areas with separate areas for large and small dogs. Tends to get muddy after a rain in spots and near the water fountain. Nice when it is dry but there are no shade trees or shelters to offer relief in the heat. Frequented by regulars that seem to be friendly and responsible. Areas allow room for dogs to run and play. Gravel parking lot adjacent to the dog park. Downside the 2 dog areas are the only things there.

Great park with a wide area for pups to run around and play wishfully. We have been going there for a while and our German shepherd pup is always happy with his little trip to the park. Very watchful and friendly owners, except for one lady who had a small breed dog has literally hit my puppy claiming our pup has bit her puppy. It was a clear physical abuse to my puppy. We were watching our pup all the way and even other owners claimed our pup never bit any other pup or even growl for that matter. Hope responsible and sensible people show up more.

There are so many five star reviews for this park, but I dont know why people like it so much. I think that the reviews are probably for the small dog area. The small dog area seems clean and has nice grass. However, I have a large dog and I dislike the large dog area. First of all, The large dog area has poor drainage and there is usually a lot of mud or a large mud puddle in the middle of the play area. Ironically, thats where two of the benches are also located. Only one out of three benches are usable most of the time. Second, I like to walk my dog after we visit the park, and this park only has a dog park area. And lastly, people rarely pick up the poop. Maybe it was just my latest experience with this park, but the last time I went two owners were staring straight at the dog when it pooped and didnt bother to clean it. I am glad that this park is available to dog owners, but in my opinion, its definitely not one of the best.

Very disappointed in this dog park. The area is low-lying which means it’s usually very muddy in parts. The porta potty in the parking lot makes the whole area stink. We also saw a couple of condom wrappers in the parking lot which indicates that the park is being used for nefarious purposes after hours with little patrol or maintenance. The City of Smyrna really needs to clean up its act at this park.

Awesome for socializing your dog with other dogs. ALOT of room for running and playing. I love the two separate areas. One for smaller dogs and the other for larger size dogs. I also like the watering trough that is big enough to quinch your dogs thirst. Plenty of parking and the area has a bench for sitting...also provides doggie bags for your convenience.

Can be a nice relax full place for the most part dogs are friendly if you keep the big dogs from the small dogs I had this woman get mad at me once because she had her small dog and the big dog part and got mad because my 6 month old puppy was running in over playing they have a small dog side for a reason

Burger park is a great place to take your furry kids! Calvin (my pup) & I have never had any issues with fights or aggressive dogs. The owners are very friendly as well.

This park is okay. There are not any large trees for dogs to lay in the grass, out of the sun. There is one bench inside each aized animal park area. The locals take great care of this park.

Huge dog park! Large areas for small & large dogs. Sadly, when it rains the large dog area gets very flooded (the small dog area has some flooding but not nearly as bad.) No shaded areas either. During the summer heat, I bet its really bad out there.

Its not a huge dog park so its much better and you can meet people very easily. I highly recommend this park in you live in the Smyrna area

Great park with high traffic. Dogs are a mixed bag and youre rolling the dice with their temperaments but the park itself is the best in the area.
