“Buy 1 get 2 free” is clearly an effort to triple the quantity of fireworks you ultimately purchase. Allow me to explain: if I enter the shop with the desire to purchase a set of 12 mortars that are typically $30-40 at another shop, they will be priced at $110 but I can choose other items to get 2 “free”. In the end, this system does not save any money for the consumer. The staff was flexible and allowed us to mix and match. However, I still think this system ultimately hurts the consumer. Sales are meant to be special to bring me in the door, and nothing about their “buy-one-get-two” is special...Minus a star.I spent some time comparing apples-to-Apples for similarly sized cakes, novelties, rockets, etc for PRICING and SELECTION.Pricing-wise, Sky King is roughly on-par with the market, maybe a touch more expensive on bigger items and a little cheaper on some novelties and smaller cakes. This is after dividing their list prices by 3, of course (since all of their prices are 3x higher to allow for buy-one-get-two). Minus a star.Selection-wise, this location does an excellent job maximizing shelf space and stocks a lot of good novelties that you might have trouble finding elsewhere, as well as a very solid variety of cakes, rockets, and crackers. The staff was very helpful. Plus a star. Despite my dissatisfaction with the pricing system, I had a good overall experience here. 4 stars.

Great selection, great service and great prices. Just bought a bunch of fireworks for our yearly show at the lake on the 4th of July. I used to drive to Alabama because I was comfortable with their lineup and the process at Firework City. Greg made the process so easy to buy a whole show of fireworks here at the Sky King Smyrna Location. He helped me pick them all out, stay in my budget and even loaded my car. Courteous people from a high quality business. I will be back and would highly recommend anyone check them out.

This is my favorite place to buy fireworks. Ive shopped with them every year for the last 5 years. Big shoutout to Octavia for being such a kind and helpful employee!

Just went in there today...place was very crowded and lots of people were not wearing masks. They need to do some sort of crowd control and only let in a certain number of people in at a time. I quickly got what I came in for and left. I am now regretting going at all...wanted the kids to have some fun on 4th so I risked staying in there.

Extremely overpriced. The promotions they have going are what save them. If it wasnt for the 75% off sale & my $20 free item coupon, I wouldve left empty-handed.

Still had a pretty good selection for last-second firework shopping on 4th of July, and decent prices for what they had and what day it is. Best place to get fireworks. Buy 1 get 2 free.

Prices are way too high. I will stick with Jakes Fireworks our in Douglasville. I bought the Growler 24 count of artillery shells for $100 made by World Class Fireworks. At this store the same count was $300. I tried to support my people but most of them are money hungry. I ended up spending $540 at Jakes and ended up with more from Jakes than what I would have gotten from Sky King.

So helpful. They went out of their way to help me get the biggest bang for my buck (pun intended) Great place to go if you want assistance in your gender reveal.

This place may be small, but packs a great affordable pyrotechnic punch! The staff there was really helpful when I went shopping for 2018-2019 new years and the affordable fireworks I had made an awesome show for my family. This showroom is perfect for any firework lover, weather it be a person who like BIG STUFF, anyone who likes smaller things, or if your like me and you like a variety of different things. Management extremely helpful...staff not so much. Asked staff where the advertised sales were, 3 outta 3 had absolutely no clue...asked manager, and she said that they were out of stock, but would honor similar items or whatever items I wanted for same sale, just at price of highest one. So other than staff on the sales floor, and the fact that shocked me most was the 11% sales tax...its a good place to shop for a whole variety of fireworks. Had a great time at the items I bought for the 4th!!! Will definitely shop there again!!!

I stopped in for some additional variety than what I see at Walmart. Its fairly small, but the selection was very good and the employees were helpful in a non pushy way. The prices were good and seemed about on par with Walmart TNT stuff (assuming you plan to buy three things since its but one get two free).

I came to buy firecrackers. They said if I buy 1 roll of 1000 blackcat for $29.99 they will give me 2 more for free. Later, I check Black cat 1000 roll priceand the answer was $8 per 1000. Hmm....LIARRRRRRR!

Awesome experience! I went it just to see what it was all about and walked out with awesome fireworks. Down to earth and cool guys that work there. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I left my ID there one summer. Called two days later they said they would look for it. Called the day after that and they said they found it and would send it out to me. To my Address, which would have costed them 3 or 4 dollars. Waited two weeks, still have gotten it and I called them and they said they mailed it out today which was two weeks from when they said they mailed it. Another week passes. Got pulled over by the cops one night and almost got a 150 dollar ticket for no license. So I was almost down 150 for the ticket and 35 for my new license. I would have come and got it, which would have solved that problem before it happened.
