The updated park is fantastic. I live the 2 good sized dog parks (one for small and one for large dogs).The playground for smaller kids is also great for the tiny ones.Its nice to see that they are adding beautiful murals as well

The park has reopened! The playgrounds look like lots of fun and Ive heard good things about the gym equipment, but I have yet to try it myself. The dog parks are great and my dog had a wonderful time. The park provides poop bags and trash cans. Lots of people wearing masks, including the kids playing. Please bring yours!

Beautiful new playground, dog park, hockey rink, workout area, with 2 kid bike/scooter/skate loops. The loop around the playground has a yield & 2 stop signs, a great way to train the little ones. The loop around the hockey rink is more like a race track. Both loops are marked with white stripes and solid lines, again training & prepping the little ones. Yes there is a porta-john.

I grew up playing at Dewey Park, so I know how badly this park needed an upgrade. They did a fantastic job! Kid and dog friendly. Exactly the kind of park my family needs, as we just adopted our puppy. My boys ages 10 & 5 had so much fun on the playground and Little Lola finally interacted with other dogs. It was such a fun day for all of them. Most people if not everyone were wearing mask and were practicing social distancing. Only thing I could say I didnt appreciate was the Hockey rink was locked. That was a bummer. Hope they open it up for the public soon.Review update 11/17/2020:I have good and bad news.BAD NEWS is, my puppy got pink eye from this park twice! Be careful with ur furbuddies at this dog park. Doesnt seem like anyone is coming to clean up.GOOD NEWS is, the Hockey rink is now open.

My favorite place to walk my dog is along the Creek.

Great for my 2yr old son and 1yr old Yorkie. All seems safe and neatly placed. I would go back any time.

This park is great! So many upgrades. Just be aware the restrooms are FAR from the park and they are porta potties.

Best Park in the area! MoCo went all out with this one. They have so many things to do here. They have multiple dog parks, two kids playgrounds, and a place to exercise with machines. In addition, they have an inline hockey rink!

So much to do here for children and adults of all ages and interests! I go frequently, alone and with groups, and theres a new experience for all every time.

Everything about the Dewey Park makeover is great! The street hockey rink is great! The dog parks are great! The playground is great!

Recently renovated and very nice job. Playground and toddler set, exercise area (wishing they would allow you to adjust weight but some nice bars for pullups, crunches and dips), dog park, field hockey arena, area for kids or people to walk around, soccer field and it is situated on the RockCreek trails.

Nice playground and cool hard surface hockey rink to let kids practice their skills.

Park is clean and I love the new hockey rink. Its going to be a real eye-opener the spring.

It is a small park, but it is well maintained and has a hardly-used and free parking lot to get on the rock creek trails.

Best part of this park is the entry to Rock Creek trail

A nice place for river sports like fishing and canoeing.

There is some irresponsible parents that gives bad example to kids by just leaving plastic bottles. Thats what kids doing when they go there too. Even when almost everyone pass next to the containers.

Nice park with great scenery and a lovely bicycle trail.

Love it. But if they add more play ground equipment I would give them a 5 star

Ive been going to this park for roughly 20 years. Its an adequate park for little ones.quiet and calm. They havent really renovated it yet.really wish theyd replace playground equipment The walking trail is in great shape along the fields/courts when you pass through. If youre into pokemon go there is a gym stop. Across the river is the much more active and better Randolph hills park.

Fine, not crowded. Lack of shade

Dewey local park is good for walking and for kids to play on the playground. It is also very nice for bike riders too.

I love it the place

Park is deteriorating, but slated to be renovated later in 2018 and reopened in 2019. A street hockey arena, two dog parks, and an adult fitness area will replace the space that occupied the basketball and tennis courts and the playground will be renovated. As of this writing the nearby Randolph Hills Park is still open and also has two basketball and tennis courts(More info on this project is on the official montgomeryparks website)
