Super fun little escape from our home bound lives. We even did a pre-show hello with other friends attending (that recommended the show). Highly recommend!

My wife and I have enjoyed many Improbable Comedy shows around Silver Spring over the past 1+ years. But none more than this past Saturday when Kim produced an incredible lineup of Comedy as a Second Language at our synagogue, Temple Shalom. About 18O people from late teens to mid-80s — and everything in between — laughed non-stop for 90 minutes. Thank you Kim for a powerful and hilarious show that our congregation and those from the broader community will be discussing for a long time to come.

I was thoroughly entertained by all four comedians and the MC was hilarious, too. Very funny show. Well worth a ticket price or contributing through Venmo or Eventbright to support the comedians! Thank you all.

Very friendly. Humor aimed at the younger crowd. I thought I am computer literate, but heard more names of social media for the first time! What is Tender? (Or is it Tinder?) Definitely not for kids, but the time of the show (8 and 10 on a Saturday) should maybe be a hint.

Im an immigrant who digs stand-up comedy and I just saw Improbably Comedys show on 9/7 Comedy as a Second Language and it was a blast !!!The comics were really good at what they do and told all kinds of stories, some very personal, some very observational, some pushed some touchy issues (as comics should), and the respond was always laughter- it was entertaining for me to hear different little pockets of the crowd laugh louder at different jokes. If youre not familiar, Comedy as a Second Language features immigrants and/or first generations U.S residents that are also stand-up comedians, 3 comics great range of humor.I very much recommend those interested to get tickets and check out Improbable Comedy next time they put on a show.

My wife and I saw the Comedy as Second Language show. We and our group had nothing but good things to say. I thought the acts were great and the material was perfect for the audience. The length of the program was also perfect, it left me wanting more and I never felt like there was a lull.We used to go to the DC Improv before we became parents and boring adults. This show helped remind us why we love stand up comedy, and the fact that it was in our community and produced by a local business was the icing on the cake!

Im so glad I went to the Comedy as a Second Language show! The comedians had wonderfully original material, really engaged with the audience, and laughed along with us. The theater was packed, and yet it felt like a wonderfully intimate space. The show was paced well, and had high production value all around. Highly recommend checking out Improbable Comedys shows!

Kim produced a standup show for our apartment complex and was wonderful to work with. Everything was very organized and smooth, the guests had an incredible time and we all really enjoyed the wide range of humor and personalities represented by the comics.

Just attended their first comedy workshop and had an excellent experience. I left with a much better understanding of joke structure as well as some hreat, practical writing exercises. Sara, our instructor, was engaging, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Shell get you ready for an open-mic in no time! I highly recommend this for anyone regardless of experience with standup.

What a gem! Had not heard of Improbable Comedy before attending this past Saturdays theme performance: Comedy as a Second Language. The comedians were on point in their delivery. The audience as a whole was shy at first in their response, not certain if they should laugh at the race-based subject matter. After about 5 minutes uncontrollable laughter and applause was heard throughout the room. Ill definitely return for more shows.

I went to the Improbable Comedy show in Silver Spring on January 13 with a group of friends. We had such a great time - the whole lineup was hilarious. Loved the intimate venue, it really allowed the comedians to connect with the audience. Cant wait for the next show!

Ive been to 3 shows so far, the most recent one in November 2017. I laughed so hard I cried. This is a hidden suburban gem. It floats among a few different venues in Silver Spring.Youll have the feeling of being in on a secret if you go to one of these shows, because the venues can be kind of random. The shows are on weekends, and usually at about 8-9:45 pm, so great for an evening out that doesnt kill you the next morning. All of the shows Ive seen had 3 comics and a funny MC. This is a locally-owned, female-owned business.
