While covid 19 has had a major impact on available activities, there is no excuse for rude and abrasive office staff who refuse to accept responsibility for problems. There are currently only 4 total staff for 385 sites, only 2 to provide maintenance for the entire park. There is no maintenance supervisor, no emergency contact after hours or on weekends, phone calls arent returned and delivery of packages is erratic and inaccurate, at best. Response from office staff is generally if you dont like it, make other arrangements as this a service we dont have to provide. This is despite the fact that we are prohibited from picking up our own packages due to covid. The residents deserve and are paying for adequate staffing to provide an appropriate level of service along with office staff who are responsible, respectful and professional.

Meh. Thank goodness this stay was free (as a result of buying a travel trailer at Lazydays). Even so, we left a day early. First, the good: very nice staff, facilities are clean, RV sites are generous and the dog park is nice but a bit mosquito infested. The not-so-good: it is STERILE. Think a Walmart parking lot with hookups. The sites are bare. Small, minimal trees, so NO shade. No picnic tables, no BBQs. Concrete patio pad is small and inconveniently located. Site is covered in cinders of various sizes which makes leveling (and maintaining level) the travel trailer quite difficult. The power and water are located at the very rear of the site. Luckily, we had an extension for our water hose. Have never had a problem with that before at any RV park. Just weird placement. The transformer box was located right at the back of our site and was quite noisy when sitting outside. The focus here is on park models rather than RVs. The residents are nice but most are substantially older so the scheduled activities are designed for much older folks. It is certainly not a resort. WiFi is available for an additional fee. Cable TV requires a box and additional paperwork. We used our DISH with no problem.

This a clean spot to camp that is Central in location. I would hesitate to call it a campground. When camping there you are mixed in with permanent structures and residences. The site had rounded lava rocks that were neither packed or smooth enough to walk on without shoes. The campground was sufficient for this scouting trip but we wont stay there again.

Love this place! Everything is so clean and spotless! Office people very friendly and they have a landscaped dog run w chairs in the shade and provide poop bags. You can also walk them close by in front.Due to COVID all amenities are closed except very clean showers w limited toilet availability.Outdoor activities are open but not sure if you have to use your own equipment.Addressing a complaint from another post about the street light...we were right in front of one but have a class C and have windshield cover: we had no issues. Keep shades down and cover the windshield.Beautiful white birch trees and Christmas trees and gardens throughout the park are so pretty! Our site had water, sewer and free cable. Cable worked smoothly and quick. Free WiFi in common areas that are closed but you can stand outside. T-Mobile worked fine here so we used our phone and hotspot.Addressing complaint about leveling: we had no issues. We didn’t even have to use levelers. We were in site 155.T-Mobile worked here but based on another complaint Verizon doesn’t. But come on people! Don’t give this place one star because Verizon doesn’t work! Call Verizon! Don’t dump it on the park reviews!

Very popular resort. Nice amenities. Most of the lots are sloped and requires considerable effort to get level. Parking area is lava rock. And needs support under Jacks. This visit was a little different, we arrived and no one was there to tell us what to do. Lots of friendly folks got us situated.

We called to see if they had a spot to accommodate our 45’ fifth wheel for 10 days. They said they could. We were 20 minutes away and arrived to find out we couldn’t fit. We talked to a few people staying there and were told many spaces were open due to not enough power. We found another park that could accommodate us and expected a full refund. They kept a days stay even though we never had a spot we could fit. Manager said that is there policy. I will never stay at an encore resort after the way there customer service treated us. Definitely would not recommend this park.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Venture In RV Resort. After a nerve wracking day of car trouble they got us a wonderful spot to park our trailer. The sweet woman on the phone even offered to keep the slot reserved for us for longer in case the repairs took longer. When we arrived the camp host took us to our spot and helped us get settled. He then graciously followed my husband to the dealership and gave him a ride back. Amazing!! Thank you so much for everything!!

Well.....what to say. We thought this RV park was quite good UNTIL we decided to purchase a park model. Our offer has been accepted, we paid our $100.00 for credit/background check and NOTHING!!! 1 week later and we are still waiting for approval. We have talked with the front office numerous times and THEY CANT HELP US???.We have contacted the Regional office and Corp. AND still no word. And by no word, I mean silence. We have yet to receive even a call back. No way to run a business!!!

Great park! Roads are a bit narrow for backing in a large trailer to a monthly rental space. Overnighters have lots of room for backing in.The staff offer many activities with a well organized schedule on paper. Mail delivery to keyed boxes for each site. Large very clean laundry room with large capacity machines and pay by credit/debit card.

Highly recommend. Park is close to grocery store as well as community pool and a beautiful park that you can take walks through the pines or enjoy the dog park. Venture inn Park has super friendly people lots of events never bored with so many activities. awesome staff. Park models must pay space rent for the full year but only open for 6 months out of the year. A great choice to stay.

We stayed here for nearly 3 months and we love this place. We will be back next year for sure. There is plenty of space and every lot has a concrete pad. Top notch laundry almost always empty. They have A fitness center, library, craft room, computer club, horse shoes, shuffle board, ballroom, awesome billiard room with 5 tables and ping pong. Plus many card games going on all the time as well as dinners, dancing and entertainment.Steve that maintenance and all around handyman is an amazing guy. Steve is friendly, couteous and does the work of two men. Management would do well to give him a big pay raise.

Its a very nice clean RV, park model place. You pay for 12 months a high rent, but the park is closed 6 months and you cant access your place. They are very strict on what your allowed to do. I would not recommend this place, price doesnt match value for what you get. There are tons of people selling off park models trying to get out.

Big RV resort whos focus is cabin sales and rentals. RV areas were acres of ugly gravel. Cement pad was ok and hookups were fine, no problem there. Large back in spaces. They advertise free cable TV but systems Cable 1were impossible to hook up on modern tvs. Old fashioned TV hookups.Resort staff friendly the gentleman who assisted us backing in was brightest and best part of our experience.

Mobile home park with LOTS of long-term residents but all must be 55 or older. Resident mobiles are well maintained. Great clean facilities(laundry, bathrooms) including many gas BBQs (severe fire restrictions). NOT FOR TENTERS. Spaces on volcanic rock with little shade. Close to town.

Large, expensive, safe, immaculately maintained, extremely friendly, senior park. No trees, no shade. Trees are considered a maintenance liability. Must be age 40+ with no children to overnight. Visit their web site to check out their 6 pages, size 7 font, list of rules and regulations. WIFI $5 per night. Free WIFI available in computer room.If you like the forest, trees, and space, then the State Parks are the place to stay. When they are booked, this park is a good alternative.

If you are 55 and older, Venture In is a great place to park your RV for a week or a couple of months. This is our 3rd summer here. It is very clean, dog friendly, close to everything near Show Low/Pinetop/ Lakeside. We feel very safe here and everyone is very friendly. The downside, you are not parked in the Pines. Their Wi Fi is terrible so if you rely on internet for anything it is very hit and miss. Very frustrating.
