Hadnt been in a couple of years and remembered the place as wonderful for toddlers but definitely tired. I figured the nonprofit needed to do more fundraising. We returned to find a lot of updates were made incl fresh bright paint and it appears that a new play area will be opening soon (troll?). The classic stories of childhood come to life here, with just enough elements to make them recognizable but leaving enough to imagination to spur creative play.... what more can you ask for?

Such a great park. Trails to walk and really close to the dog park. My kids love the water area and during the summer they have a program to feed the kids that play there for free. Also in the summer an Ive cream truck comes by. Super clean. keep in mind the bathrooms will be closed during autumn and winter.

A great place to cool off! Open to all, with different types of water features, and basketball hoop for more fun! Water fun is activated by push buttons on posts on the outer edge of the area. All this right next to the playgrounds! And trails all around to get absorbed in the atmosphere of nature, and forget youre in the big city. Fun and relaxing.

Our favorite park in the summertime! Free for the family, open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and offering free lunches for kids and teens in the summer, this public resource is amazing. On any warm sunny day youll find tons of families enjoying the park. Lots of shady areas to keep cool. Good bathrooms. And an agescent fully stocked playground. Thank you Seattle Park and Rec!

The spray park is a great part of Northacres park for young kids to safely play & cool off. Theres no wading pool or pool of any kind that might create a safety issue for toddlers, just safe gentle water coming out of a variety of fixtures. All of the kids I saw there were having a good time. One more thing -- its free!!

Fun park with lots of cool stuff. The spray park is great in summertime (just know that the water didnt turn on until 11 AM). The playground is great for all ages-- theres one for under age five and one for over age five, but theyre right next to each other (good for parents with kids in both age groups). There are picnic tables right next to the playground. And then there are really nice walking trails and on the other side of the park theres an off leash dog area.

This place was awesome!! Nice water park area as well as a play ground right nxt to it!! Dnt think your gonna take your kids here and their not gonna be dying to play in the water park area also!! Pack swim wear and some towels!! Dnt for get juice and some snacks!! They do have a bathroom however it’s not the greatest but it’s a public park so there you go!! Also has park grills, picnic tables and plenty of grass with and without shade. Parking isn’t big but there is street parking. Enjoy and clean up when your done!!

Nicely maintained and shady. The only thing that would make it better is grass.

A wonderful place to take your kids! My 13 month old loves it. The kids can splash around without worrying about getting into deep water. Theres two playgrounds as well, one perfect for smaller kids!

Great park year round, even better in the summer because of the spray park. If you arrive before 10:30 seems like plenty of parking on a weekday in the summer. Bathrooms are a plus, and there is shade, too.
