Marshall Park is a little pocket of green on west Queen Anne that gives you beautiful sunset views to the west across Puget Sound, sometimes with the Olympic mountains visible. Plus, on a nice clear day, Mt Rainier may peek out from between the houses. The roads around the park are steep & narrow; there isn’t any dedicated parking. So, if you driving, be prepared to park a block or two away from the park. The little park itself can get crowded, especially in the evenings.

View at 6PM last week. Really beautiful view. Really cold, considering the elevation. What a lovely view of the city and the surrounding ranges.

Never ceases to awe me! Just look for a time when the Olympic Mountains are visible (more beautiful at sunset) and start walking from Kerry park.. keep your eyes fixated on horizon at the end of the road and enjoy the beauty till you reach the park and say... Doesnt matter the size, its one of the prettiest spots in Seattle!

An unmatched view, in walkable distance from Kerry Park. As a Queen Anne resident, this is my favorite view. Absolutely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Cute park with great views of the water and mountains. Its much smaller than we anticipated with three benches to sit at. There were several people from the neighborhood there visiting with each other and a few people walking around to take pictures. Quite a few people were out walking around, but it was still quiet and peaceful. Nice place to bring your partner or come alone to take in natures beauty.

A very nice viewpoint, if not for the tree which divides up the waterscape to a slightly distracting degree. A good spot for watching sunsets. Nice to look at, but only ok for photoing. If you want a clean waterscape, the 520 bridge park might be better.

A short walk from the famed Kerry Park, but with its own great views!

A very nice view can be had of Puget Sound and the Olympics from this park. Large Ocean Cruise ships also park at the foot of the hill which can make for a pretty nice shot. Just a short walk from the very busy city view photographers site Kerry Park. Oddly enough very few of the Kerry Park photographers ever walk down the street to Marshall Park, so you will probably have it all to yourself.

While lacking the Space Needle, Mt Rainier, and city views of its near neighbor, this park offers excellent views of Elliott Bay and the Sound. It is also far less crowded. Even with tour busses a short flat walk away the tour groups miss out on incredible sights just a few steps away.

Small park with similar views to Kerry but without the crowds. Still a popular spot. Park consists of a strip of green sloping down the hill with benches.

Marshall park is a wonderful little bonus to a visit to Kerry Park on a clear day! Whenever I bring visiting friends and family to Kerry Park, once theyre doing ooh-ing and ahh-ing at the city and Mt. Rainier (if its visible), I like to take a saunter down the street to Marshall Park so they can oooh and ahh some more at the Olympic Mountains! As a bonus, the houses between the two parks are beautiful, especially when everything is in bloom in early spring!
