We had an amazing night at The Baltic Room for my wifes 40th. Sarah helped us plan and host memorable event. We were drawn to the space by the photos online and when we checked it out in person it did not disappoint.

New management has brought this club back on the scene.

Very good Senegalese food with a great selection of ginger-infused cocktails and a fun athmosphere.

I have found it is very hard, nigh unto impossible, to have a non-fun night out here. Highly recommend coming at 10pm to get in sans line and witness the transformation from Senegalese restaurant to wild and out,raging dance party.

Chamber music on Wednesdays is awesome!!!! The bartender and service was awesome. Really great drinks and sexy atmosphere.

Great bartenders and DJ, horrible management. I’ve never been so disrespected in a nightclub after spending the amount of money we did. The owner is extremely unprofessional and did not accommodate nor apologize for treating us so poorly. When we asked to speak with him as well as asked his name we were aggressively escorted out of the establishment. I will never go back to this club, and I’m sure they will slowly lose business if they continue to treat people this way.

The washrooms are a hot mess ..The bartender was very rude.. Tall lean guy, with piercings .. When we repeated our order he said i heard am not dumb ... I wouldnt recommend anyone to go here unless you ready for a messy evening.

Its a pretty good place. They can be fun to go to. Definitely should be a place to check out. Overall a good experience I give it a thumbs up. It was not a huge area but there was plenty of room to feel comfortable a lot of people having a good time.

I think this is the best bar in town because it has Drum n Bass Tuesdays... I know that’s not popular opinion... but my opinion is better than popular opinion anyways because it’s observable and that’s the bottom line. Yeah... the bartenders are amazing... in fact they’re probably also the best bartenders in town... but what you really need to ask yourself if your questioning this publicly posted opinion that no one cares about is, “What is Drum n Bass?” It’s actually a hard question for many people to answer simply because the philosophy is so complex and it parallels reality; like quantum mechanics while you’re getting sexy time. But can you imagine it? Of course not. It’s like describing a Picasso painting; “go touch yourself”, am I right? Yes. Yes I am.

Went here on a Wednesday night because the website and google said they were opened and when we got there it was closed with a heavy chain as if it had been closed down for a long time. If its open, please update hours!! It sucks to be excited to try a place out only to find out its closed!!!

*SCAM WARNING**FALSE ADVERTISING*Do not spend your money here!!!! I was so excited to spend New Years our with my best friends. One recently had surgery and this was her first night out since. My other best friend just moved away to Texas and this was her last night out before she left. I decided to splurge and get us a VIP booth.The Baltic Room website stated VIP was in the upper area with a private bar and when I e-mauled with DJ Bankhead he confirmed this and stated that we would not have to wait in any entry lines, would have a private waitress and 2 bottles of champagne. I have the e-mails to prove it.When our group arrived we were taken to a booth at the back of the club behind the bar where you can’t even see the stage. Not on the upper VIP level. We sat in our booth and waited for our waitress. After 15 minutes of waiting I went up to the entrance and asked where our waitress was. I was directed to speak with the manager Kimberly Coil. This is when things took a turn for the worst. She told me they weren’t staffed to have private waitresses and the upstairs booths were already taken. WHY WOULD YOU CONFIRM A SERVICE WITH SOMEONE WHEN IT WAS NOT GOONG TO BE AVAILABLE?At this point I went up to DJ Bankhead and expressed my frustration. He said if he had to he would bring us our drinks. This turned out to be a complete lie. We finally were able to order one round of drinks which were thrown down on the table in front of us. Kimberly Coil obviously did not care about customer service or the hundreds of dollars in a tip she would have coming if we received even decent service.Partway through the night 2 people in our group went outside to smoke. We were told we could re enter with no line since we paid $300 for VIP. My friends called me after waiting in line for 15 minutes to re enter. Once again I had to track down one of the people I had spoken with to get them back inside.At the end of the night we wanted to close our tabs. Kimberly stayed she did not have all of our cards. Well we have them to you so where did they go? After handing us a stack of cards we were able to find ours in a completely unorganized pile with every other patrons cards.Anytime I tried to order a drink from Kimberly she rolled her eyes, glared, or completely ignored us. I thought when you pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars you should at least get mediocre service? Apparently not when Kimberly is your server. Money must not be a problem for her as she blatantly did everything in her power to make sure she would not receive a standard tip.DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR FALSE ADVERTISING. AND ESPECIALLY DO NOT LET KIMBERLY COIL BE YOUR WAITRESS OR BARTENDER.I will be letting everyone I know and come in contact with know to never do business here. I have also filed a complaint with the city of Seattle, BBB, and am prepared to hire an attorney if I am not properly refunded. What a pathetic company.

Bouncers were incredibly rude to us and letting line jumpers through if they were willing to bribe. Why get treated like trash when there are better options? Recommend Foundation and Trinity before trying this place.

First time here. Came for a friends event. Good drinks friendly bartender who was hopping all night ( Thank you Evan)!Good music and a nice sized dance floor.Security was awesome friendly at the door and super helpful when ppl had a bit much. Cant thank these guys enough.Over all an awesome night!

I was here November 3rd for my friends birthday part.So, pros and cons:Cons - We get there at 10-ish and its kind of empty. After reading some of the reviews, I knew this place was under new management and they were trying hard to get back into the scene. Because of this, I was unaffected but the birthday boy wanted some more action. We went to another club close by that was turnt and then returned to Baltic later. The whole club felt like it was trying really hard and the music reflected that. I think I saw three different DJs trying to lay down phat beats to get things going. Some drunk white guy came up to me to ask me if I had been in there and, if I had, what I thought about it. Seems like this place had, at one point in time, a bad rap.Pros - the club is open until 4 which, if youre trying to smash kinda hard, is pretty awesome. The beautiful Asian lady bringing us the champagne birthday boy ordered was fast and was quick to answer questions and help out. Im assuming because she never talked to me, I was drunk, and the club was loud. While at the other club, bouncers, DJs, and even the beautiful Asian lady helping us out at the table showed up. They were telling us that if we can get X amount of people to go to the Baltic after this club closed, theyd hook us up, and all that. The music was fun; there was some dry moments, but I enjoyed the Hip Hop.Other bits of information - the bouncer was cool but thorough. If you were stamped or not, you were in line and hed pat you down. I can see how that would be annoying if the place was ever packed. The Long Island I got was a strong one, you could say, a Strong Island which I appreciate. The road that its situated on is supposed to be two-way I think but cars park on one side so Ubers/Lyfts and other drivers may run into situations where you cant drive past other drivers. I saw that happen twice while standing outside, drunk.All in all, I appreciate a place trying to get back on its feet and the booze and music reflected that. Id like to see it get to where its trying to go. Would go back again.

Bald bouncer went on a lovely power trip about a multi tool, yes I realize its not good to have it, but he IMMEDIATELY went into full on confrontation mode. Didnt understand it, was very unneeded and unprofessional. Could have just simply said we cant have you in here with this youll need to leave sir and left it at that. Acted as if I had a firearm on me for godsake. Waste of time.

Ive been to this place both on Sundays for Resurrection and for their dnb nights. This place is great! Resurrection has amazing staff, great drinks, awesome themes, and event nights that are always super fun. The DJs they get are always very talented, and its easy to just have a few drinks and dance for hours.Note that they place really only starts to pick up around eleven or so, which is fine amd expected. Seriously though, I think this place is great.

Visiting from so cal. I was told I was on the guest list, when i arrived to the club they did not have a guest list line. And no one when any specific details about the guest lists. So I was charged more then quoted. So I waited in line in the cold for 45 min just to get in. I finally got inbtje club, I was told that with a stamp I would get re entry, only to discover that once leaving you have to wait in line again. That wouldve been ok, but as we were waiting in line to we notice that the same bouncer that told my party we had to wait in line. The same bouncer that said we could reenter told us we know we have to wait in line so my party waited got to the front and seeing the same bouncer let a lady who had a step in immediately without waiting in line. Versus club experience ever we are never ever ever ever ever ever come back !! Either theyre racist but I just dont like people who are not from Washington because my ID said California . The bouncers name is Allen ! Beware he discriminates ! But bishop is really good with guest

I went to a Harry Potter party here. There was a long wait to get in (despite everyone purchasing their tickets in advance). The DJ would only play 2 minutes of each song so it was kind of hard to find your groove.The event was supposed to go until 2. They ran out of themed drinks at 12:45 so they turned on the lights. The music was off by 1:15. The party was going great before this so it was a greedy and not cool move.

We completely got ripped off. We bought a bottle of vodka on a Friday night . they took over 15 minutes after seating us to bring us the bottle with the pourer already inserted. it was just me and my man. we finished the whole bottle and walked out and drove home ME I only had a buzz. I get loaded on MAX 3 DRINKS! I decided to take a sample with me home . I have bottles at home and this so called VIP bottle was watered down. I have yet to get a response from management or the owner! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!

About a year ago I moved back to Capital Hill after a few years out of state. Almost nightly between between 11p-3a my street (Melrose & Pine) is inundated with loud obnoxious douchebros & Wooooo girls. I grew up on the hill, the noise is not new to me. Its the type of noise, the rudeness on the sidewalks trying to get through it, and the yelling at 2am. I used to go to Baltic Room back in the day, great place. It sure has changed. But I guess you gotta go for the money.

The only club I found in Seattle that has a Monday evening event playing African and Jamaican jams! Drinks are affordable.

This place is fun! Great staff and awesome crowd.

Resurrection Sundays are the only EBM/Darkwave (Goth) night worth visiting in the city. There are others, less populated, less classy, and with smoking allowed that cater to the crowd. Baltic Room Sunday nights hosts the crème de la crème.

The employees seem pretty douchey. The music was passable, but between the bartender who acted like she hated her life (and definitely her job) and douchebag security who act like they want to instigate a reason for them to be there, I will never be going back.

I went for a friends big birthday bash and had a blast. Im not from Washington so I was trying to find out what the music scene would be like and the DJ was everything!!!

Pictures had full and busy looking nightclub, reality could not be further from the truth lol, if you need room to dance this is the place for you though since no one else will be there

Loud, vibrating noise constantly blasts into the neighborhood, and actually seems to get Louder after 11pm! The recent violence in this area seems to flow out of this establishment, like Saturday nights shooting.Management need to deal with this crap!
