My girlfriend and I visited here just the other day and we both had a great time. General Admission for adults is just under $24, and includes free access to the planetarium shows held throughout the day. On that note, you do have to pick up a separate ticket for those as the seating is limited. The Center features a diverse array of exhibits and touches on various subjects, ranging from the human body to the solar system to dinosaurs. A really nice touch is that there are plenty of interactive exhibits and stations that are fun for adults and children alike.Overall, a great place for anyone to visit.

Great place that is set up with some good thought. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. There were even volunteers that were extremely helpful. Kaitlyn was one of these volunteers who actively engaged people to learn more about the planets. Im very impressed with keen educators such as herself to share her wisdom with the general public. She will go a long way and its wise of the Pacific Science Center to identify such brilliant individuals that will steer or future to brighter paths. August was the Bubble and Illusions show host who did a fantastic job as well. The script and execution were incredible. We look forward to a repeat visit soon. Even the check-in guy at the front, John was super friendly and made a great first impression. Thanks for a wonderful way to spend Canada Day!

My 4year old loved it. Even Grandpa and Grammy had a great time getting amused with science exhibits along with my 4year old. My family super liked the butterfly exhibit. The planetarium and the dinosaur exhibit were also very well done. There was a science show wherein they were showing multiple effects of light and sound among other things. All on all, it was a great experience and we hope to be a member soon.

Loved this place since I was a kid. The planetarium is super fun, but make sure to reserve your spot when buying tickets ahead of time or if youre lucky when you buy tickets at the location. When I went yesterday the feature was on global warming titledPole to Pole And was very informative and fun. I wish it had more stars but was still a treat to see.All the exhibits were fun and interactive. Some classics that I wished were still there were not, but the updates since I had last been years ago were great. And I was very thrilled to see the naked mole rat exhibit was still alive and thriving. The butterfly museum was definitely the highlight of the visit and I made two trips to that exhibit. Make sure to donate to keep that exhibit going!Definitely fun for the whole family young and old. Lots of great photo opportunities, and lots to learn for sure. I love how the science Center is constantly expanding and growing and changing so theres something new for everybody at every visit!

If you have a partner who loves science, you’re bound to visit some science centers whenever you travel. We’ve been to our fair share. Some have been amazing, and some have been duds. Unfortunately, this one was a dud.It is very specifically science activities meant for kids. They have live butterfly exhibit, where you go into a little sanctuary and some are flying around you, so that wasn’t bad. The only thing that was pretty cool was the laser show. For matinees, it’s $5 but since we bought the museum and show tickets online beforehand, we got jipped and paid $10 (on top of the museum admission, which isn’t cheap at $26 a pop). The laser show features a different artist’s music for each show, synced up to lasers. The one we saw was for the Beatles. They didn’t play most of the popular songs, but it was still fun. Just make sure you arrive 15 minutes prior to the show to get seats. If I lived in the area, I would probably go from time to time just for the laser shows. But otherwise, this ‘’museum” was very underwhelming. Unless you have little kids, you can skip this.

A good place to get your kids. The centre has many sections. Four to be precise. The first one had experiment section where theme of the experiments were air. It had a person performing experiments and kids around, loved it. Second section had dinosaurs as theme with fossils of few dinosaurs on display. Next section had astronomy theme. Here, there were many hands-on equipments, and it was fun to work with. Next one had various other miscellaneous displays.Overall it was a nice experience and my kid would have loved it. I had a good time as an adult. There were interesting people with booths as part of the curiosities expo that you could talk to. The butterfly house was pretty. As a science center for kids, this place is great. Lots of hands on exhibits, lots of paid and volunteer staff, well maintained. I hope they always keep the animatronic dinosaurs from the 1960s, but eventually add some dinosaurs with current technology. Would be so cool and interesting to compare old Dino tech to new. Simply fantastic place to take kids under the age of 10. The centre is massive with an amazing variety of exhibits to enjoy. Couple notes:- theres a parkade very conveniently located next door, but its a tight fit for larger cars/trucks/minivans. Reasonably priced- location is definitely walkable to Pike st market area, I would take 1st as theres less traffic and more interesting shops and restaurants along the way- I would budget about 3 to 4 hours here to enjoy everything- theres food for purchase if you forget to bring snacks or drinks

This is a great museum that every household needs to have its membership- way too many things/science to explore in a day. My kids had way too much fun and slept off before we could leave Power generating bicycle, mirror, magnetic fiend, dinosaur chamber etc. too too many that I can’t remember all. They’ve also got a boutique to shop in- great collection for the kids. However, I’m giving a 4 star because of the small & not enough restroom. Oh my God I was changing my babies and the huge influx of people just staring at us while using the changing table ( a plus for that) was so inconvenient. Because of the small space, I had some people acting rudely towards us and other people and there was a long line. You should build another restroom to make it less busy like I had. It wasn’t a pleasant experience in the restroom

Fun, interactive sciemce museum. Show up ready to PLAY! Explore things from dinosaurs to outer space to practical knowledge. Learn about the body from top to bottom and test yourself- endurance, flexibility, balance- who can get the best score? Learn about energy, how we consume and exert it; jump, crank, pull, pedal to see how much energy it takes to trigger events. Get sneezed on, play games to learn about how germs spread. Play with water toys in the toddler play area, climb up to the double size kitchen table to feel like a doll in a dollhouse, ride a bike 15 ft in the air. Dozens and dozens of exotic butterflies flutter around you in the garden. Take on an engineering challenge in the little maker section, well stocked with craft supplies. This is not a museum for LOOKING- this is a museum for DOING. Perfect for small children, but our groups yoingest member was 13 and we still very much enjoyed our visit.

A different but nice experience in the science centre. Enjoyed the combustion and amazing air science show. But the planetarium was a disappointing show... first the show is pathetic, only fit for toddlers. Second the timings of the show are not mentioned when buying city passes. Third the shows are not frequent or every hour show so that it coincides with the centre tour. Fourth You need to arrive early to book a planetarium show which is not worth and then come back again for a show which is at 3 or 4 pm. Fifth its just a interactive show and there is no recorded show... video quality is not that great.

Awesome place for kids and adults alike. The admission fee can be steep, for my party of two adults and a 3.5 year old, we paid roughly sixty-two dollars, so plan on going in the morning and spending as much time enjoying the whole place (you can go in and out with a hand stamp after initial entry in case you need to go out and eat).Went there for the dinosaur exhibit (a small, permanent exhibit of a few of the most famous ones) plus the special three-day train show happening this MLK weekend for my train then dinosaur fan toddler.Unfortunately it was a little too crowded for my son who got jostled by bigger and/or aggressive kids. So if your little one is still learning to stand his or her ground, a bit shy or averse to big crowds, come on a weekday.Parking is also a bit challenging on a weekend at the Seattle Center so keep that in mind. The restrooms are clean, there are water fountains in strategic areas, a cafe if you want to sit down for coffee or a snack by the dinosaur exhibit, or get popcorn, soda and candies down by the IMAX theater. If you are a big crowd, say at least eight people, purchasing a family membership will be cheaper. And after an exhausting (and expensive) trip to the Science Center, save on dining costs by heading to the Metropolitan Market (less than a 10 minute walk away) and check out their hot bar, deli and numerous dessert options.
