A creative Museum telling the history of WA and milestones using a model train and video presentations- so clever and really fun. Volunteers are quite cordial and helpful. A must do!!

The museum is on the second floor of a building on University Way (the heart of the University District). Its a long staircase up from the from the sidewalk. The museum is spacious and has several rooms. Two rooms house the majority of the exhibits. A library/conference room has a large table and is a great place for personal study or small group conversations. A public meeting lounge has attractive artwork, many comfy chairs and tables for snacks.I found the people working at the museum friendly and well-informed.The history of the Bahai Faith is very interesting, dramatic and little-known. The story starts in the mid-1800s and is world-embracing -- the Bahai community has members in pretty much every country, city, town and neighborhood all around the world. There are Bahai communities on the smallest islands the South Pacific, and in many of the remotest jungles, deserts and mountains. Learning about all this was exciting! This museum is well worth a visit (or several). There is so much to explore and learn!
