I park in the lot here often. It its very secure, and your vehicle will be safe. The gates are down from evening to morning, and all weekend.

Cool old building with a weather station in the lobby. The elevators even have those analog dials above the doors which point to the floor they are on

Its a building with businesses inside. Its locked, for the security of the businesses, I understand this. But, if, as we were, at the front door for our appts having been told by the business that the door would be unlocked & it wasnt & theres no one to be seen, its very disconcerting, it looks as if its a closed empty building. Had to call the business & the person had to come downstairs to unlock the door for us. We entered the big room, & since my appt was 90 minutes later than the other persons appt, I wanted to go out into the sunny day, walk & window shop, instead of sitting in a dimly lit room by myself, waiting. I was told that I could go & to return in 85 minutes, the door would be unlocked. As they left to go to the office in an elevator, I took my time looking at the beautiful old interior of the lobby as I was walking towards the exit. Suddenly, an angry voice startled me & I turned to see an angry woman in a security guard uniform, still speaking sternly How did you get in here? & as I tried to explain, I felt worse & worse because I hadnt made the appt, didnt know the last name of the person the appt was with or even what floor the office was on, which, of course, I didnt know either. I knew the first name, & there was a large directory which I happened to have noticed when I had turned to face the angry, suspicious & accusing voice, & I was trying to read the names & to answer the question that the angry security gal had asked me, feeling stuck, knowing she didnt believe what I was trying to tell her because she wasnt listening. She said this is a security building & I walked to the exit as she was moving towards me, & the door to exit was locked. She said that shed go back to her post, which I later saw was right around the corner, out of sight, & that shed do whatever which would allow me to get out. Whew! When I had to return for my appt, again, door was locked, no one was around. A young guy came to the same door, & I said that it was locked. He looked disappointed, & said that he didnt know it was going to be locked or he wouldve brought what he referred to as something like a keycard, I cant remember the exact term he used. He sighed, resigned to the fact that hed have to go all the way back to his home & get it & return. I called the # I had been given for the appt & got voicemail. I stood there, wondering, & then received reply of 2 mins. The person who had the appt before mine showed up on other side of the door, to let me in &, it was locked, so it took a moment for a different security gal to do whatever for door to open. I entered, as other exited & told me too quickly how to get to the office I needed to get to, &, as I was then in sight of security gal, the questions began, again. I called the number & the was given directions to the elevator & the floor & the room # & which ways to turn. All while being eyed suspiciously by security gal. I got to appt., all was fine. Then, I left, & when I got to where security gal was, I asked if shed let me exit, & she pointed me to another door, saying thats the exit. On another side of a building on a block in downtown Seattle where I didnt know how to get to where I needed to go next. It was a comedy of errors (only amusing to me afterwards, as I had to do the same thing the next day) which could have been a nice & easy experience, if the tenants & the security personnel had the same information, rather than the opposite, & if they had better communication, regarding who was going to be there & why. It was supposed to be for a relaxing appt, which was needed much more after the hassle of entering & which was cancelled out right after, due to the hassle of exiting. I couldnt even enjoy what I thought may have been a beautiful interior to look at, due to the fact that, even though I had legitimate appts, & I wasnt trying to do anything wrong, had no idea what was there that needed security or if it was because of the location being unsafe, I felt unwanted inside & unsafe outside. It needs changes.

Office building. My chiropractor has his office here. A vintage building still doing what it was built to do. Entrances from both 3rd & 4th Avenues. Its downtown and retail faces the sidewalks on all three sides.

My dentist is in this building. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is it is quite confusing to find. I highly reccomend using the Shoreline park & ride and taking the E line. Its like 300 ft from the 3rd & Virginia stop.
