Ive only played the par 3 course, but its fun and challenging for beginners. The holes offer a bit of variety in terms of elevation changes. No sand traps or water hazards. Put your driver away, unless you want to launch a ball into the VA parking lot. Fairways are well maintained, but expect a crowd. One bonus, you can hop on and off the course at any hole.

Disclaimer: have never played the course, this review is solely for the Driving Range. The range is a nice experience that isnt too expensive and can be utilized on rainy day on one of two decks. Nice pro shop that accommodates all your possible needs, and the staff was quick and helpful. Seems like it can get pretty packed. Lotta folks know about this place, and it is central to a lot of locations. Great spot to meet your buddies and smack some balls.

This is a nice lay for a public course, but the fairways are just god awful. Their the worst Ive seen in my 53 years of playing golf. If you want to play a round on fairways are cut to the nub and all thats left is a muddy mess be my guess, but I wont. They need to go up to Everett and see how to punch the fairways and put some sand down. Better yet get Everett to maintain our Seattle courses.

Just about as good as you can expect from Muni. Range is pretty nice with a great view. Course is in decent shape. Not a super challenging course pace can be super slow on the weekends. Staff is pretty friendly and clubhouse is pretty clean. There is also an executive course, footgolf course, and a chipping area.Edit: If you need help with anything find an adult. The teens working there will not help you.

Love the course and staff, just a few suggestions:Clearly mark the holes, its annoying to have to guess where to go and make sure you are at the right hole.Bar cart is super scarce. Ive been to this course a half a dozen times and only seen it once. Please take more of my money.Pro shop is over priced. I understand convenience costs money but have a sale once and a while :)Thanks for being around

Never have a hard time finding an open stall at the driving range, even when it appears to be very crowded. Affordable fun and a little bit of exercise - $13 for a large bucket of balls - and great view!Par 3 golf course is a little rough but if you do not expect perfectly manicured greens, divots replaced or well marked tee boxes, then you will not be disappointed. Convenient location for Seattle-ites - even West Seattle-ites who are currently without a bridge.

Very popular course, a bit on the slow side pace, the 2 times I played there recently. The front nine are fairly level, the back nine has some hills to climb, if youre walking. I felt sorry for the walkers as I rode past in the power cart. There is a driving range to warm up. They gave me a small bucket, no extra charge, maybe because Im a senior Premier golf member, not sure. They had a beer cart running, both weekdays I was out.

Golfed here on Friday, May 8. The course opened up on the previous Tuesday, after almost 2 months of no golfing, due to Stay at Home order. We expected the course to be in really good shape, since they had groundskeepers supposedly maintaining it the entire time. Not the case... the course was in horrible shape. Bunkers were literally mounds of uneven sand; 4 feet high in places, 1 foot high in another area of trap, while other parts of traps had no sand, just dirt. Never seen anything like it. They had huge piles of goose poop mounded next to almost every fairway. Greens were not taken care of and were dead in places and full of weeds.Northshore golf course and Riverbend Golf Course were in phenomenal shape this week.Save your money and play somewhere else. Jefferson has gone WAY downhill.

The driving range is very large, two floors, and has reasonable rates. Most of the stalls have Toptracer attached where you can do ball flight analysis or play virtual golf. No grass, you hit off mats. The full course was undergoing some construction when I played it (mostly in the bunker areas), but the fairways and greens were in pretty good shape. This course is on the short side, so walking a full 18 wouldnt be too much of a strain. Theres a few beautiful views of the city on the back 9 so dont miss them! The par 3 course would be great to bring some non-golfer friends to. The longest shot you need is about 150 yards. It was a little rough as far as tee boxes and fairways go, but the greens were in great shape there as well.Their short game practice facilities are also a huge plus. They have 2 large putting greens and a chipping green tucked away in the back. The chipping green has a very large practice bunker as well.Overall, well kept muni-course with low stress environment and amazing practice facilities.

Jefferson is a great deal and great place to play a 9-hole all day and practice on your short game. They have a variety of par-3 holes that are challenging on their 9-hole course. I went durning the summer and the staff were amazing. Their driving range is covered and spilt level. They have a very large putting area and if you want to play a full round they have a great 18-hole course as well. The 9- hole course is only 8-9 dollars, and “well used” It’s a great way to practice and spend your afternoon. There is a lot of parking. It’sworth checking out and playing one of Seattle’s coolest facilities.

Review №44

Course is a little shorter than what I would want, but some of that is because it is a par 69 (one of the par 3s on the back 9 seems like it will become a par 4 again after some construction). Overall a good course, a bit drier than what Im used to from Michigan. Fairways are tight, rough is short, and greens roll fast; very gettable and fun, although not a lot of variety. The range has top tracer on half of the bottom floor, which is an amazing add on to a practice session.

We went for lunch. No one came to the table after initial contact. The waitress/cashier/phone answerer/she had no time for us. We waited almost 20 minutes. My husband asked a cook in the kitchen if anyone could take our order. The kitchen worker said we have no time for you. We are very busy. Needless to say we decided to leave. I was completely disappointed. The food is usually very good. The guy in the kitchen told us to get in line. We had been there as I said before for at least 15minutes. We may take this off our lunch place. They were very rude. We dont need to put up with that bs.

The golf course does not have adequate protection or distance to prevent a golf ball flying out from the park. Beware of walking or parking your car nearby. Recently, my wife parked her car near by and witnessed the ball hitting her car top of the hood. She found the ball and reported this incident to their staff immediately, and tried to discuss with the golf course manger about this. The manager refused for taking responsibility for this incident, and did nothing even though they found a player who is responsible for ball hitting out. I guess we are lucky that the ball didn’t strike her head. If you notice a dent in your car from going there, they will not do anything about it.
