What an amazing place to take lessons. Everyone is awesome and super friendly. Ive performed with a band and its allowed to do what I want to do as a musician. 10/10 would recommend!

I have had three children (plus an adult friend) take music lessons here. It is worth every second and every penny. All of the teachers are first rate. The owner is amazing, as is his whole family. There is always a great event or performance to look forward to. We love the annual showcase, where the school puts on a professional level show, with months of preparation. Even the teachers are able to perform as a group during the performance. We have moved further away, but still attend. I highly recommend Kirks.

My daughter has been attending Kirks for over 8 years now. She first took piano and is now enjoying voice lessons. This is the greatest performing arts school in all of Phoenix/ Scottsdale. The quality of instructors is outstanding and most have years industry experience. The annual showcase at the Mesa Arts Center provides the students with real life experience on stage.Each year the showcase just gets big and better. Kirk and Pam Taylor make you feel like you are part of their family. You cant go wrong with making this studio your familys choice for performing arts!

My daughter began taking singing lessons a few years back and I have been incredibly impressed with the staff and the passion that they bring to the studio. Kirk truly has a love for what he does and it transfers to every teacher and student. Few instructors are great but majority are plain awful they do not stick 2 a schedule and they do not give your child the time the contract says Don’t get ripped off. there are other schools for about half the price my son went here for 3 months and the school had to many cancellations here and no one can seem 2 know there right hand from there left

With the ultimate goal of our son learning guitar, Kirks Studio has gone beyond that. The instructors are very good and make sure students learn the fundamentals correctly. The staff is always helpful and makes us feel like we are a part of a family. Then there is Kirk. I think he leaves his cape at home, but other than that he may be a super hero. He seems to be everywhere and know everyone. Kirk makes all things seem possible and then he connects the dots so that they are.

No where in Arizona will you find a school like this! Kirk and his team are nothing short of TOP NOTCH! From the moment you walk in the door you will feel like family and just keeps getting better! If you are looking for music lessons , LOOK NO FURTHER!

We love Kirks Studio for the Performing Arts. After recently moving to Scottsdale from California we were looking for a music studio so our son could continue his piano lessons but Kirks offers so much more. In addition to piano weve added bass guitar and he is in a rock band and has had many public performances. Our son is having a great time, loves practicing and performing and is making great friends. The teachers and staff are friendly and professional and the students are so very talented. We feel very fortunate that we found Kirks.

My son, Lazar, attended Kirks studio last school year. He needed an art credit in order to graduate. He loved his instructor Mike that was assigned to him, and loved the way he was learning guitar.The studio was very accommodating when it comes to rescheduling/ making up for missed class. Lazar succeeded in his goal, and our experience with Kirks studio was excellent. We highly recommend it.

We had been through many piano teachers for my boys before finding Kirks Studio. Initially when my sons started piano lessons it was more of a chore for them to practice and work at it. Now my sons love to practice and really enjoy going and learning how to make music. What I love about the studio is that no matter what you interest is in leaning to do music, the studio has something for everyone and every ability. Kirk Studios is a place where you can start your musical journey to grow to your fullest potential. I love the opportunities that my kids have had to perform and love that my boys are excited to show me what they are working on after every lesson.

My son began taking piano lessons at Kirks Studio when he was in kindergarten, and 10 years later he is still there! During this time he also took guitar lessons and was actively involved in a Kirks Studio rock band. Through the band he learned to write and record original songs and loved performing with a group. Kirk has encouraged him to participate in the Arizona Study Program (ASP) each year, and by doing this he has grown as a musician and enhanced his knowledge of music theory. He hopes to complete all 12 levels of ASP which will be an accomplishment that will stand out when applying for college. Overall, he has been able to broaden his musical abilities because of the many unique experiences the studio offers. In addition, he has gained a second family that has nurtured and mentored him throughout his entire childhood and into the teen years. Who could ask for more than that?!

Great experience for my two girls! One studied violin and piano for about 5 years; the other studied singing for about 3 years. Kirks has great performance opportunities for all levels. Wonderful teachers!

Kirk is helping our kids take music to another level. The lessons arent just about learning the notes or counting just right. Our kids are learning about musicality and feeling. They arent just learning to play music, they are learning to make music. Kirk uses clever stories and anecdotes, like playing baseball or the story of the barber to help the kids understand and internalize important information. Thanks Kirk--youre awesome!

This place is amazing my son learned sooo Much here,this place is the reason he still plays the trumpet and Mark gus Scott is an amazing teacher and will make you laugh until you cry, and makes learning fun.

Kirks Studio for the Performing Arts has been an absolutely incredible experience for our son. He has learned piano and violin and developed important life skills in preparation, practice, and persistence. Kirks has been a great place in his growth and we will be forever grateful.

There is no Performing Arts Studio in the Valley of the Sun with a Staff and Faculty that provides music and creative instruction better than Kirks Studio. We are very happy with the instruction our girls are receiving at Kirks studio in Desert Ridge. They have many fantastic opportunities to participate and progress in...and the showcase they performed in at the Orpheum was very cool!
