I was pleasantly surprised with this aquarium. I have taken my young child to several aquariums across the country that are labeled great aquariums but have not been impressed with any of them. This place is completely different. It is worth the price of admission just to spend 20 min at the huge shark tank. They have more variety of aquatic life than you would expect from a place that is 600 miles from a major body of water.Parking was a breeze. They have excellent covid-19 protocol. Make sure to look for ticket discounts before booking online to reserve your time slot.

This aquarium was well kept and clean. It had a great flow to the exhibits and tanks, so I wasn’t worried about missing anything!! The staff was all very friendly and polite. There were fish, turtles, gators, otters, rays, sea lions, penguins, a sloth, and so much more!!! There are a couple hands on exhibits where I was able to pet a sting ray and have my finger hugged by a sea urchin. We had a twenty minute ride on the OdySea Voyager and were able to sit down and rest for a bit. We had lunch at the Lighthouse Cafe. The bathrooms.....so cool!! I highly recommend visiting this aquarium!!

They time the entry so there was a 30 minute wait when we went on a saturday. Buy tickets online, way cheaper. The Shark view in the bathroom was cool. Overall lots of different ocean and non ocean animals. The touch tanks were great and fun for all ages. The only part that I did not like was the line to leave. Everyone is filtered into a line inorder to do the rotating aquarium. There was little circulation and tons of people in the hallway during a 40 minute wait. You should fix this before you have covid issues due to it. Give people the option to leave without going into the rotating show.

This was an amazing experience! Highly recommend for little ones or even as a date. Even during covid and the extra precautions there was plenty to learn and observe. I cant wait to go again once the restrictions lighten.

This aquarium is awesome. I am a stay at home mom and I have taking my kiddos here once due to covid but once that clears I definitely will get a membership. This has area’s were kids get to be hands on and I love that ! So much to see and do highly recommend!

Overall they do a decent job here. Id truely rate it 3.5 given the option. Ive seen bigger and better aquariums for the price of admission tbh. There are some cool features and neat back drops to specific themed tanks. I wouldnt say any exibit was amazing and over the top but worth seeing at least once. Staff was friendly. Entrance bathrooms in the OdySea exibit are a must visit, trust me.

We had an absolutely fantastic time! It was amazing to be able to see all the sea creatures and the butterflies when you live in the desert. It really makes you feel like youre not in Arizona which sometimes is a wonderful feeling when its a 116ﾟ outside. I think that this place really truly cares for their animals and they make that very very clear. Think another wonderful thing this place does is they had on one of their tours sea turtles that they have rescued that now have a forever home and are safe it warms my heart knowing this! This place is truly amazing and a wonderful thing to see and I would recommend to anyone who is looking for something fun to do in Arizona! It is on the pricey side but I assure you the all of it is worth it it was a lot of fun and me and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Money well spent. I recommend Odyssey for all ages me and my boyfriend are both in our twenties but we both thoroughly enjoyed the exhibits and all the joke for you were able to make amongst ourselves. I also think it would be great for children to teach them about sea life when you cant get out of Arizona wonderful experience.

This is a very nice aquarium with many animals to see. At the end of the aquarium, you get to choose if you want to exit or get on the voyager. The voyager has theater style seating and it moves to show you the biggest tanks at OdySea. Oh did I mention, the bathrooms in the lobby have a view into the shark thank instead of regular mirrors you see in bathrooms.

This is such an awesome experience and the employees are all awesome! Shout out to Kathy in the Magic Memories department for the photos. I purchased the digital downloadable photos and accidentally lost the slip I needed to get the downloads. Mrs. Kathy helped me locate them and sent them to me. She was very polite and understanding throughout the 25+ minute conversation. Amazing customer service! Will definitely be visiting again!Thanks again!

We had a great time at the Aquarium today! We bought the annual pass because we love stuff like this and had seen great reviews.We have a 3 year old boy who has lots of energy and OdySea was a great place to go for him to discover new things and get excited! I cant remember exactly but we probably spent 2 hours there. That was seeing everything and stopping for a little bite to eat.All of their aquariums and exhibits were in great shape. Well taken care of and it seemed that all the animals were healthy. Some of our favorite parts were definitely touching the stingrays, watching the penguins swim, playing with the kids water feature, and seeing the big sharks!Go check it out if you havent and you shouldnt be disappointed! Oh and go check out the bathroom by the front desk!!!

What a great place to take your kids to or even a date. Very cool aquarium with so many different species and things to look at. I live in Tucson but I will definitely be coming back everyone that was with me loved it

I had fun it was a good place to go and relax and to enjoy some of the exhibits were closed thats why I gave it a four-star. I also went to the oxygen bar and the massage with water. I would like to give it a five-star. The Host was very generous and very full of energy which made it very nice place to be. My wife really enjoyed the water massage bed. And I had Oxygen Bar whats a nice wake up is the oxygen. It had more exhibits in the aquarium in oxygen bar. All in all I do give it a five-star.

Great aquarium! I highly recommend the Voyager experience. Neat ocean exhibits, but lots of local things as well.

OdySea Aquarium is a new major attraction to the Arizona Valley. OdySea is moving forward to produce education experience. A lot of thought and detail is found in every area of the Aquarium. Lighting views and shows seem very cool. The Boardwalk it’s self is impressive and hopefully it will continue to grow its crowd. Few animals like sloths are on display as well and some of the exhibits change out to keep things fresh.

I had a great time. I went after 4:30, which I would highly recommend, as it is both more affordable and less crowded. The tanks are beautiful and the fish seem to be well cared for. The multiple touch pools are great for kids and curious adults like myself. The staff were friendly even though I left right at close. All in all, it was a wonderful evening out of isolation.

I came here today for my birthday and I must say this is the best birthday I have ever had. I am an adult who loves the aquarium and butterflies but this place is amazing to bring children. It is very interactive as well as educational and the staff has 5 star customer service. Visit this place if youre looking for a great time.

Today was my first time at this aquarium and it lived up to my expectations wonderfully. The exhibits were plentiful, the animals looked well taken care of, they offered multiple amounts of information for each animal and it was exactly how I hoped it would be. I 10/10 recommend this place to anyone who has never been here before. If you move slowly it will take you about 3 hours to get through and ticket prices are fair.

We love our annual passes! The aquarium has been a lifesaver with two young kids and it being too hot to be outside in the summer. The precautionary measures Odysea has taken make this a safe and fun place to go are so appreciated.

We had a great time at this facility. They took great measures in my opinion to keep the place clean and allow social distancing. We went during the middle of the week and it was pretty empty for the most part. Many of the interactive attractions are closed but that didnt take away from the fun. I would highly suggest going after 4pm when the price drops significantly, we made it though the entire thing well before the facility closed. I would definitely recommend this place to those with kids and needing a place to go and get out of the house.

The odysea aquarium is the best! They have so many aquatic sea life here for you to explore and see. When you first enter, you MUST go to the restroom LOL, they have a really cool shark aquarium inside. However, my ultimate favorite about this aquarium is that you can pet the stingrays and other little critters like sea urchins. After visiting the odysea aquarium, we stopped by to eat the at the dinosaur themed restaurant and it was a wonderful way to end our visit! I would recommend coming here!

Nice aquarium with a nice variety of fish and other animals. My only complaint was the animals in the tanks we not always identified.

Their bathroom is incredible! They had 3d stuff and vr sets. I loved it I highly recommend the stingray petting. Though they have a variety of animals. (As seen in pictures).

They had lots of interesting exhibits. We did the 3D movie and the submarine trip. It was a lot of fun for a group of adults. The encounters and some more interactive areas were closed due to Covid, but still totally worth it.

It was an okay entertainment for our family but definitely thought it was overpriced for the experience. Many of the attractions were closed the day we attended, I would say more than half. The attraction I liked the best was seeing the shark tank in the restroom. I thought that was cool. Being disabled I was under the impression they would have a wheel chair available because their brochure reads A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the concierge Desk in the Aqua Lobby. My friend brought me a brochure, so I could plan the day at Ody Sea. They were not kidding, definitely a limited number, for the day my family attended, there was hardly anyone there and I could not get a wheelchair, so please bring your own if possible.The admittance fee was pricey at $45.00 a per person, I understand they have to feed the sea life but everything was expensive and several employees definitely could use some customer service training, on how not to be grumpy at work, none of them seemed happy with their jobs. We sat through a video, while a gentleman talked, it was pretty boring, our seating was uncomfortable plastic, cheap outdoor chairs. I wonder how many chairs have broken under the weight of someone weighing over 120 Lbs. I hope your visit is better than ours. It was a waste of a lot of money. One time was enough for us.

Absolutely amazing. We have asked several people if they recommend going to odysea aquarium they always say negative stuff about it. So we decided to check it out for ourselves and after 2 years. We loved it it is a little bit on the pricey side but its definitely worth it, the rest rooms at the entrance definitely take the cake and the rotating theater. Due to covid-19 not a lot of the exhibits are open but we still had an amazing time definitely coming back in a couple of months

The aquarium is fantastic. The variety of fish impressive. To be able to see so near sharks, a big octopus, stingrays, medusas and so many incredible fish so near is a breathtaking sensation. It is worthy to spend this time there.

They are only allowing a set number of people in at a time in order to facilitate social distancing. The aquarium is one of the best Ive seen. Kudos to them for offering half price for veterans for a limited time.

Took my 12 yr old grandson there - we had a great time. Maybe a little high priced but the smiles& laughs were worth it. Staff followed Covid protocols without being bossy or intrusive. Not an easy task nowadays. Ill definitely be going back...I have a lot more grandkids!

Great for all ages. We went on a double date and we were all 20s-30s and enjoyed our selves. Eat before giving come nothing exciting on site or in surrounding area.Do not add Pangea on to ticket waste of the extra 8$!

It is Huge. Lots of aquatic plants, animals, and so many different types of fish. I cant believe how much I have learned. Truly amazing visit. They offer headphones for audio. It is extra. Prepare to walk alot.

Great place for family visit. A little expensive but we all agreed it was worth it. Admission includes a narrated ride to see some of the exhibits seated. There is a small cafe about halfway through the aquarium which is open and a quick place to grab lunch or a snack.

A truly amazing aquarium! So much bigger than I thought it would be and a wonderful variety of life! Wish I could have done the experience of swimming in the tank, this was closed due to COVID but Ill be back! One very neat feature was the Jurrasic Park style of viewing some of the exhibits by sitting in the Odysea submarine - theater seats in a whole room thats rotates taking you to different viewing windows of different collections of sea life.

I got the annual pass for myself and my two girls. Every time we go we have a great time and create new memories. We are also invulnerable to any weather conditions because its indoors. Also neighboring OdySea are other cool businesses and attractions if you dont mind spending some money. You dont even have to spend any money as they have an outdoor play area for kids and tables and seats for whoever just wants to relax.

Thought the place is great. Wife and kids had a great time. Only thing is that the bathroom to see the sharks is when you first walk in, so make sure you stop to check it out.

It was the first time we had been there and we all loved it. The exhibits were amazing.

We are members and are very disappointed in the staff. We come almost 1 to 2 times a week and have been treated very poorly on multiple occasions. The most current situation was going around the photo op that they try to make money from. We don’t need a picture and to have to wait in a line when we have passes and are ready to go in. The attendant was rude in response and as well as the front desk when it was brought to their attention. For how much we spent for annual passes the value is not worth when you aren’t valued as a customer. They need to have better trained employees because their customer service skills are lacking.

Totally worth it!!! We loved it. Had an amazing time. They have interactive exhibits too.

We took my almost 2 year old grandson and it was perfect for him. We moved at our own pace and so therefore he didnt lose interest and was excited about everything to see.

Thiis place is amazing. For the price I would go back and will go back.They have to feed all these fish. So the price is RIGHT. staff is amazing. Support them.

Great educational trip. Absolutely loved it. Especially their deep sea wildlife section. Original ticket is close to $40 but after 4:30pm, prices drop to $25. Definitely worth the price.

It is such a fun place! i enjoyed walking around with family and hanging out with my little cousins there! Not only did i have fun at sea trek but the gift shop is a must see! I just moved and all the glass figurines arent too expensive and are beautiful for decor! not to mention, i have gone multiple times and am always excited to go! with a nice restaurant inside and outside, a fun courtyard, and a candy shop...the place has it all! i love it! the place is so worth it and i am totally going again!!!

We had a lot of fun at this aquarium. The things are beautiful and efficient animals seem to be very well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this place to those with children or if you need to get out of the house to clear your mind.

Its a little pricey but totally worth it. And the bundles with the aquarium and the other attractions are actually a pretty decent value combined. The aquarium itself is pretty amazing. It is definitely worth a see.

This place is amazing! The only thing I didn’t like was how they rush and take two pictures of you when you come in that they sell to you at the end of your tour. If I’m paying for these pics can we at least not be rushed through two poses? Idk lol but seriously the animals are so beautiful. I would recommend anyone to go!!

The aquarium was a lot of fun and had a huge variety of aquatic life. Awesome penguin exhibit, sting rays, shark tunnel, seals (who were very active and playful), jelly fish, massive alligator, and other really cool aquatic creatures. Odysea aquarium is stunning from the moment you enter. They have rightfully so won the best bathrooms award. This aquarium is truly here for the effort and spirit of conservation and education. The entire facility is clean, modern, and well kept. Every exhibit is accessible and has multiple viewing points - which is perfect for avoiding groups and crowds at a single spot. Having small children I especially appreciated the risers added (as pictured) for smaller children to view.Each different exhibit is dedicated to a different geographical area, and is properly labeled and decorated as such. I very much enjoyed the music and scenic display in the Mississippi River monster exhibit. In addition to great aquariums they do have other animals like toucans, parrots, and sloths - which was great to see as these are animals that I can not see at my local zoo. I appreciated the stories shared from the rescue animals that were full-time residents at the aquarium.Although several of the add on attractions were closed due to covid. The absolute highlight of my visit, was the rotating exhibit attraction. I got to explore and view the aquarium exhibits from a different perspective. Perhaps in a way that might not get to see or experience from walking around and viewing. Im so grateful they have this option, its short and sweet but very much worth it!

OdySea Aquarium is defiantly one of the best places to visit in Arizona. Just the animals and different experiences you can do is fun enough, but the knowledge and facts you get throughout your visit, makes it all the more worth going if you havent yet, and visiting again if you have.

Very cool aquarium. Lots of variety of sea life. They have a surprising number of sea turtles here and lots of sharks! They also have the best bathroom. I wont spoil it, just take my word for it.

Spent 6 hours visited butterfly exhibit saw 3d movie about butterfly travel went into reptile exhibit then went over to restaurant circle decided to try dinosaur restaurant had a decent gyros sandwich. Then on way out stopped by aqua massage tried belt with 3 balls that surprising gave a great kneading massage, which is product that can be bought at time. Then with are last hour and 1/2 we decided to end day at the aquarium which was very impressive a lot of big aquariums with big fish and a whole bunch of sharks. Also decent size turtles. 2 levels to view. Never even got to the mirror maze or titanic display would recommend.

One of the best aquariums I have visited in a long time. From start to the finish this place it amazing. So many amazing exhibits and demos. I always felt like the care for all the fish and sea life was their priority. I was so impressed with their interactive exhibits too.

This was an incredible aquarium. What a wonderful experience! We highly recommend it. And its surrounded by so many other attractions as well! We and our kids had a blast.

Had so much fun and it was nice to finally just be out with family and friends. The aquarium is beautiful. Some areas was still closed because of the pandemic but still had a great time.

Few attractions still open or available at the base price. But there are far less crowds than usual so you can take your time at each attraction and not have people in your way. Great for someone like me who doesnt enjoy crowds!

If a pool or the beach are not your your thing right now then go here, you will get the vibe of being underwater A joyful and relaxing day!!

Good aquarium. Clean smelling and overall pleasant. One of the better aquariums in PHX area. Carousel commentary is terrible. Would like it to loop back around so you can go back easily if you missed something. Wife and I enjoyed ourselves. Staff was very friendly. Will attend again in future Im sure.

Nice, clean place but not worth $40 admission. 2 hours and youre done. Kind of small for that price. I did like the fish globes as you enter the building. It was great to see the Octo out and about, normally they are hiding. Small gift shop at the end was nice. Skip the rotating stadium aqua tour, its extremely childish and not working properly. A lot of potential there however. A creative mind could make that awesome. But it was lame.

The aquarium was great, even with a lot of the shows not going due to this COVID-19 nonsense. The staff were helpful. The sea life was all super active while we were there. This was a great experience, a lot more to do than the Denver aquarium.The sea lions made the day!

We have been been annual pass holders for the last couple years. Our 3 year old loves the place.During covid times, there have been some changes made. Temperature checks at the front. You can no longer do the touch exhibits with the exception of the stingrays. There is a kids area that had some kids activities, but they shut the area down. And of course, social distancing is encouraged with signs telling everyone to stay 6 feet apart.They offer a great variety of exhibits. There is even a few non sea life animals, such as a sloth and some birds. They also had” guest” appearances, such as mighty mike, a huge alligator. Occasionally they change up the theme, such as Jawsome July (shark theme).If you’re hungry, the food at the cafe is just okay. I have eaten there a handful of times, and mostly out of desperation lol. We now make it a point to eat before we enter. They do offer some grab and go items as well as food they cook up. If you’re in desperate need of coffee, the coffee here is doable until you can get yourself to a coffee shop.There is also a rotating auditorium. This is the only place you can see the seals. Unfortunately, the show is pretty boring, but it is educational, so I do recommend doing it.Overall I recommend visiting this “Liquid Zoo”.

Cons: way too expensive between food, water, admission- I dont see how a large family can do it as we spent $200 on a family of 3.Pros: beautiful place/great exhibits/clean/knowledgeable staffBest of all they got rid of the dolphin killing people!!! We will be back but need to save a bit first. :)

I have visited many aquariums around the world and this is one of the best. Its very well decorated and the fish tanks were super clean. They also take care of a few sea turtles who have been injured when they were in the wild. I would definitely come back. The gift shop is pretty cool. Almost everything they sell is made from recycled materials. Even their bags are made from recycled plastic bottles.

This was such a fun place to visit with my grandson who loves ocean animals! Very few people were there, felt very safe. Was a calm & beautiful place.

The OdySea Aquarium was beautiful, enjoyed everything that was colorful the fishs. Enjoyed the gift shop. Fun place for family to be. Take home a picture together that wonderful memories.

My girls aged 6 & 3 had a great time! It was a shame that a bunch of stuff was closed due to the pandemic but it is what it is. Price was a bit high but we did have fun. The price is the only thing that keeps my rating below a 5*.

Amazing experience and very friendly staff! All the Staff were well informed and very helpful. Went Sat after 4.30 PM which is when tickets are discounted.There was a combo with the dinosaur exhibit offered at a discount with the already discounted aquarium tickets. Purchased both. Didnt regret it. Spent 3.5 hours here give or take. Really loved the Dino exhibit. All the guys were very well educated on dinosaur myth vs reality. Shout out to Chad who took his time to show off an amazing fossil collection.Highly recommend the whole facility and plan to be back for more adventures. May even buy season pass.The only complaint I have is the coke machine charges $8.00 for one drink. Which I think, is far too much. Be warned on that one. Didnt try any of their foid offerings but plan too on a return trip.

Friendly staff. Beautiful aquarium. Great views of watching sharks swim above you. All encounters and tours are temporarily suspended due to COVID-19; however, the visit is still worth it.

The fact that they are open during the pandemic is great! They are great about social distancing and have sanitizer stations set up throughout the aquarium. All the tanks are clean and the fish all look healthy! Really fun for the kids and lots of hands on exhibits!

AMAZING. This aquarium is in a great location (basically a mini mall). Great date idea for adults or even bringing a whole family or kids. It was awesome and there was so many other things we could do that we are planning on coming back.

Much more than just an aquarium, very interactive, plenty of places to eat and much more to see. The Odysea Voyager is also worth the wait. Highly recommend butterfly world and we also visited the Titanic artifact exhibit.

Great place for the kids and family. We all had a great time and the service was great. I will be back. Loved this place. All the different fish and colors was kinda like out of a movie.

You know you notice how large this place is from the freeway but you have no idea how big until you go in. Yes of course you will notice that this is expensive and although I didnt like paying these prices we still enjoyed our time. My son, almost three had a blast and we may buy the annual pass next time so we can enjoy more often without feeling like we break the bank each time. I feel like you get what you pay for there. We were here for almost five hours which included lunch and a little jumping around at the event they had going on. It was nice to hear they also have rescued creatures here, regardless of how you feel about the place. Tons of different views for most of the aquatic sights. One really cool thing was the little ride going around from the different sights. From sea lions, sharks, and other beautiful creatures. I would recommend this place for you and your family.

There was no social distancing whatsoever. Also on the website it stated they were supporting social distancing and this was not true. Website stated they were monitoring capacity and I dont understand how this was possibly enforced with how packed it was. The exhibits and overall the attraction itself was neat but not very good if you want to social distance. You literally could not.Employees should be more staffed monitoring this and enforcing this but this was not done.A few times I heard people ask others to please keep 6ft away.

Sign sealed and delivered Im sure Ive been here having a great time with my child during an abnormal nurse fit that was shocking, good thing I was not near the ocean water. Anywho we continued to move on laughing with the penguins and than the Rotonda tanks, everyone was educated during the presentation and the run off fome the seals swimming with grace made a good laugh for the group on tour. This aquarium is wonderful. Ive been to other aquariums and this aquarium was one of the most well-organized that Ive seen. There is a specific flow of foot traffic, and it was very clean and well-taken care of. I have no real complaints. An excellent place to spend a day!

The aquarium in scottsdale is worth the visit. The areas are clean and they offer plenty of activities for kids during the tour. There is information about each species you visit and a fine time for the adults as well. The pricing isn’t too bad and I recommend getting there earlier then later as it can get busy. However, if you arrive later, you get a better rate for access. They have a few restaurants to eat at both inside the aquarium or the the center court area. Don’t forget to take the train ride or the indoor bumper boats. They offer valet parking for easy entry and exit.

Amazing place with lots of exhibits...you will not run out of cool things to see here for a while. Plan on at least 3 to 4 hours

Great place to take the kiddos. You can easily spend 2-4 hours inside going through all the exhibits and attractions. Theres even a cafe inside if you need to get some food while in there.We have the annual membership and its totally worth it get the kids out of the house and be in a climate controlled room while its in the hundreds outside.Weve seen new exhibits and attractions every once in a while which is kinda nice when you go frequently. My kids love the tide pools, sharks and penguins.

They are friendly and professional. They are taking proper measures to keep everybody safe during COVID. The pictures that they take of guests are fun. I cant wait to come back when more things are open when COVID settles down.

Incredible place to visit! Lots of exhibits, numerous species of marine life, and even a sloth! Staff was very engaging and helpful, and they didnt shove our small group out of there after they closed. Will definitely return and recommend!

This was one of my first dates with my Fiancee and honestly the experience was fun and quite entertaining however, I do feel the food prices and the interaction with the staff needs more improvement. They arent as knowledgeable or friendly... I would of also liked to have had a little more room to walk around because some groups decide to take up a lot of space in some corridors...

Even with a pandemic, this aquarium was still very entertaining and fun. We spent 2 hours inside with our 11month old who was pointing and babbling away. A very fun and clean way to enjoy life during a pandemic while still being able to keep your distance and not touch anything you dont want to :)

We got a yearly membership because our toddler really likes going around and looking at all the fish. He flys through there in an hour but going at a reasonable pace it might take about 2 hrs. Unfortunately covid has closed down a few of the areas but that seems unavoidable. They do have sanitizer in various areas but several were empty at our last visit. Staff has always been friendly but unfortunately not all guests respect the social distancing and mask guidelines.
