It was great and fun. Everything was good and enjoyable. It was small, but reasonable prices for that type of exhibit. Wish the screens was more kids friendly and uses pictures as well instead of words. Also, didnt like the fact that they force to throw away the tools used for one of the interactive activity for kids. Just unnecessary waste.

We bought a package of tickets during March to go to wonderland butterfly, but we saw the deal for Wonderland butterfly with Pangaes land of the Dinosaurs. We only visit wonderland and we decided to wait for pangaea, to later go during September. I really like the idea of the packages, totally reccomend to buy the tickets this way, you get better prices this way and you have a year to use the second one, I did enjoy watching the dinosaurs, unfortunately there were some areas that were closed..

You enter in through a gift shop and buy your tickets. If you go late in the afternoon the prices are discounted. Pretty well all of the displays are scaled-down versions of dinosaurs but they are mostly animatronics too and move or have motion. There are 3 things that kids can do for crafts and discovery, but you have to pay for those separately. Overall, it is worth visiting once and if the kids like it then you could probably arrange to buy a season pass.

I think its absolutely insane to pay around $20 a person for this. Lets go over some highlights.1. half the things inside are closed down inside.2. there are not 80 dinosaurs in there.3. a child might like it for 10min and get bored of it.4. there are many many other attractions at this location to go to that are actually worth your cash. Aquarium and butterfly exhibit. This is just rubber stretched over some animatronic creatures that are pretty low effort.

So i may have hyped this place up in my head a little to much. My kids had a good time which nets it its 4 stars but the price alone makes it impossible to reach 5 stars. The entry price of 16-18 bucks get you a very short walk with some decent looking dinos with animatronics. Where they did do better is the 3 interactive activities. Its 11.95 more to add all three and again now my price for 2 adults and 2 kids was just shy of 100 bucks. But without the interactive addon the visit would be significantly less entertaining so make sure you addon. Also the staff was very friendly!

We took a trip to the exhibit this past Monday morning. Our 4-yr old son is fascinated by dinosaurs, and enjoyed it very much. Chase, the assistant manager, (I pray Im remembering his name correctly) was absolutely fantastic. He took time to *enthusiastically* answer the many questions our son had about carnivors and aquatic reptiles. Chase brought out the fossils and took our sons lead on what interested him, and taught him many in-depth details he hadnt previously known. My son wouldve spent hours doing that if wed let him. These days, its rare to find people who are passionate about their job. I hope Chase will read this and know that if he ever doubts whether his work matters, please know it MATTERED A LOT to a little boy all the way from Wisconsin. When we asked him this morning his favorite part of vacation, he said, meeting Chase.

It was a fun place. We enjoyed the animatronics and the activities. My daughter loved the obstacle course and the small fossil digging. I personally enjoyed the scavenger hunt, although I had no idea which dinosaurs were which. The employees are very engaged and work hard to be excited for the kids. I marked it down one star due to the expense. The ticket was a gift, thankfully. But if the expense is not an issue, then it’s a fun time.

Really fun place. If you have small kids that love dinosaurs this is the place for you. Its not really educational place, but entertaining. Kids older than 5 seemed a lot less interested. There are tons of animatronic dinosaurs and you walk through and learn about them (of someone reads to you). Then if you got the package of upgrades, there are a bunch of other activities for the kids. There is a dinosaur bouncy house type thing that they can run through and slide at the end. My kids did this for at least 30 minutes straight. The kids can also ride either a TRex or a Triceratops. Then there are stations for etching, digging out fossils, and high quality, long lasting glitter tattoos. We went on a weekday afternoon, after the field trip crowds were gone. There were no lines, and the kids (4yo and 2yo) had a great time.

Weve been annual pass holders for two years. Its an easy indoor getaway when it gets too hot to do anything else. The kids have enough fun to at least justify two stars. However, the place is so poorly managed that you just have to sit back and chuckle. We came here on superbowl Sunday and there was a handwritten note saying they had closed early (verified they were open on their website). As if the time of this writing, if you call and listen to the recording of their hours its different than whats on their website which is different than whats on their Google local profile. We came for black Friday when they ran a promotion for free upgrades for everyone. Everyone except annual pass holders that is. You still have to pay for the dumpy little activities. Very short sighted to penalize your continuity customers. Itll kill an hour, thats worth something. But I wont shed a tear when they go under.

My boys are dinosaur obsessed and have had a dinosaur party two years in a row. They enjoyed seeing the dinosaurs at Pangaea. With that said, as a parent, I wasnt impressed. Its overpriced and the set up is small. Its a bunch of dinosaurs smashed together in a room. The website says plan for at least 90 minutes to walk through. That is laughable. It took my kids a few minutes. Granted, we didnt stop to read about each dinosaur which would take longer. We paid the $10 extra so they were able to do more activities, such as ride on a dinosaur. They thoroughly enjoyed that. But again, it was over $25 for each of my kids. Was the money worth it? No. Would we do it again knowing what I know now? No way.

This is a cool place to bring kids. The dinosaurs are animated and its much more exciting for them that way. However, I wouldnt necessarily plan a party here. They tell you you have 4 hours but they book the parties so tightly that you dont actually have an opportunity to have a party and relax and enjoy each other. We started our party at 12:45 and an hour later they were pushing us to wrap things up so that they could take us on the tour and get the area set up for the next party. Its not my idea of a good time.

Best birthday ever! Weve visited Pangaea once before and my five-year-old son wanted to have his birthday party there. We had our closest family and friends with us over the weekend for his 5th birthday and it was a huge success! When we got there the staff already had everything set up and ready to go. Glenda our party manager went above and beyond our expectations. The kids and adults had a great time. There was even a surprise appearance by a special dinosaur, Blue! The cost was reasonable and we had the choice to order food through Pangaea or bring our own. The kids enjoyed all the activities like dino excavating, etching and glitter tattoos! They also loved riding the T-rex and the bounce house! Im sure well be back again and again!

I went with a group of first grade children and they made the event much more fun that it probably would be if you decided to do this by yourself. The staff was friendly and engaged however, this is why the review gets the three stars.Anyone who has children knows how important it is for children to get their food immediately and one thing that I know is that everything on this tour was timed. That being said, when the children sat down to eat, it was over fifteen minutes of waiting time and that shouldnt have occurred. There were also children who got Apple juice instead of Capri Suns and while that may seem little, it isnt and wasnt... Kids were teasing others about not getting the same amount and or being made fun of because they were red headed step children as they got a smaller box drink. The food should have been ready and served immediately and the drinks should have come out after instead of before as children will drink themselves full before eating - for a place thats catered around children, it seemed as though they didnt know how to properly handle these little humans.Overall it was a decent day however, I wouldnt recommend this to another school or group.

Good place for kids to visit! While the dinosaurs are great, the entire experience doesn’t last very long - couple of hours max. So a little pricey for what is available. If you’re looking for a half-day kid friendly experience, plan for this to take a 1/4 of the day and wear your child out somewhere else! Unless they are soooo into dinosaurs that they want to read all about them. They sell extra packages that includes all activities. Adults cost 19.50 and kids 3 and up 17.50. Then all dino rides, stationary rides, dino etching, face painting, dino sifting, and excavation stations all cost between 2.50 to 8.00 per station. There are guides apparently that are there to show you around. We where there for 2 hours and not a single person came over to us the entire time. The place was empty so no excuse. There where however about 10 employees sitting around on thier phones and computers doing nothing other than not paying attention to the guests that spent big money to be in the exhibit. We had to go track down the young girls to come work the rides that we paid for.The Dinos are very cool. They even have moving eyes which you can see in some videos I uploaded. They should have started off with some nice Dinos though because as u walk in it is very loud, dark and scary Dinos right away. This scared my 3.5 year old and it took her about 10 minutes to be ok with being there. Then she absolutely loved it as she loves her dinos! My daughter had an amazing time but for almost $100.00 for 2 adults an one child Im not sure if it was worth the cost even though my daughter loved it.There is a real strong chemical smell as mentioned in previous reviews and I had a bad migrane after leaving. (I never get head aches.)Unless the price drops and some other changes are made I am not sure if we will visit again.

We had my sons 10th birthday party here and it was by far the biggest rip off we have ever had for a birthday party. Any adults that decide to stay have to pay extra. Kids can only do each activity once and get their armband marked to make sure they do not get a second turn. A $55 gratuity was automatically added to the bill for bringing pizza and cutting the cake. We had to serve the pizza to the kids and pour the kids water based drinks. There is not a drinking fountain inside and kids have to be escorted outside by a parent for a drinking fountain or restrooms. Water bottles from the vending machine are an outrageous $4.00 each. My son had a fun time though but wished he could have done more. And for the almost $400.00 we shelled out for a birthday party, I wish he could have done more too! The ONLY reason they get 2 stars is because my son insisted on it. Fun place to visit but go somewhere else for a birthday party!
