This was my first escape room and we liked the theft room so much we did the samurai room after. That room was a lot harder but we had so much fun! I cant wait to go back and try the chem lab.

The customer service was top notch. The place is well kept and clean. We thought that the Samurai room was great and that the locks/room was very interactive. Plus we felt pretty good getting a new record Team Tau. We will be back

Went w just my husband and I. It was super fun experience. Good for team building, relationship building and working your brain.The puzzles really make you think outside the box. We finished w/ a min to spare and only using two clues.Its super clean, does come w a bathroom.Staff is nice and cheerful. Definitely recommend trying w family, friends and coworkers.

I had a really great time doing the Theft room at Lockdown. The owner was super friendly and the puzzles in the room were just the right side of difficult. They also featured a few unique puzzles I had never encountered before and that is always a great and pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend giving Lockdown Escape Rooms a visit, youll have a very memorable time.

Really enjoyed doing the chemical lab escape room. It was difficult, but fun! The staff was friendly and helpful and the it was nicely put together. Thoroughly enjoyed.

This was our first escape room experience and we really appreciated that Lockdown provided us with a private group setting. The facility was very clean and esthetically pleasing! The whole experience was comforting, and even the couches that are provided in the waiting areas were clean and comfy! The staff was so polite and they were available whenever we needed them. The escape room itself was definitely challenging and worth every penny. We will be returning and referring our friends to Lockdown for some air-conditioned entertainment!

It was our first ever escape room experience. I accidentally booked the wrong day online, but when I called to move it up a day they happily rescheduled our booking. Everyone was great! We were explained the rules, shown a video clip and let loose to explore our clues. One leads to the next until you solve them and escape the room. We had the whole family and found the experience fun for everyone! The gals asked us to do a review. We were impressed and will be back to try the other rooms. I just dont know the gals names! Next Ill be sure to get them! Our family loved it!

Purchased a Groupon that was a little higher than other similar escapes thinking it would be higher grade, we escaped in 25 minutes so it wasnt very challenging. I would give it a better rating if they allowed you another room when you beat it under half the time. The puzzles werent difficult. There were only 4 of us and we needed no clues. I dont feel like I got my moneys worth.

Pretty fun. Without the Groupon, I think it would have been overpriced. We had a pretty smart group, but there were some clues that I dont think we could have solved without a hint. Clean facility. Friendly staff.

Perfect escape room to do if youre new to escape rooms and want something super fun to do. I did the theft room with my family (a whopping total of 10 people) and it was a blast. What I love the most is how you can see how many puzzles youve solved and how many you have left to go. Definitely going to come back and try out the chem lab escape room here!

Fun place, good rooms.Medium level room is a bit easy with a big group, but still a very good time and plenty to talk about for a long time to come. Make sure you keep track of what all is going on and communicate with each other!!All participants can come back within the week to get a discount on another room of theirs.

Super great time! The staffWas amazing and the room was challenging. It wasn’t too challenging so we were still successful. That made it super fun!!

Very fun time. Rooms are one-room only (not like some which open into other rooms), but the puzzles were still fairly complicated. We did the Chem Lab room, which is the hardest room there (38% total escape rate) and managed to make it out, but it took everyone helping out to figure out the puzzles.If youre a hardcore escape room fanatic, this might not be the place for you, but if you do one occasionally or if youre just going with a few friends for some fun, Id highly recommend Lockdown.

First time to one of these, thought it was pretty cool. Went through two of the three rooms and managed to get out of the second room. Hard to do with only 2 people, think it would be easier and more enjoyable with a group of 4. If you have the time, try it. You wont be bored.

We had a team event at Lockdown Escape Rooms and it was a huge success! We had enough teams to do all 3 rooms to see who could break out first. Everything from the quote to the booking to the event made for a great, easy to coordinate experience.

We had such a great time in the theft room and the room was set up perfectly. The mechanics behind certain puzzles were awesome and made the room so much fun. Our host Kyle did a great job when we needed help and didnt give too much away so that we could figure it out. We will definitely be back for another room!

Our group chose the chem lab room. We succeeded with about 30 seconds remaining. This is definitely a difficult room, and the sub 40% pass rate seems about right I probably wouldnt recommend it if its your first time. The atmosphere was great and the quality of the room itself was fantastic. My group and I had two complaints. 1) The difficulty felt very artificial at times, once we were working on the correct puzzles things fell into place very quickly. This was somewhat frustrating because many of the puzzles were red herrings with no obvious tells, its very possible to waste the entire hour trying to solve an unsolvable puzzle. I was expecting the puzzles themselves to be more difficult than usual but in this case its the process itself. 2) After nearly an hour in the escape room things were very warm, perhaps they forgot to turn the AC on. Overall a great experience though, would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed this escape room! For reference, my group did the Chem Lab escape room at this location. The attention to detail is obvious upon entering the room. My group did escape with less than a minute to spare, so it was a very engaging puzzle that was well worth an hour.

I had SO MUCH FUN! Our boss treated us for a job well done and I feel this was a great team building activity. Everyone contributed to the solution and unlocking of the door. I would love to try the other rooms sometime :) I highly recommend Lockdown Escape Rooms, our host was bubbly, informative and funny! The facility is clean and the escape room was so cool! We did the room where we were infected and had to find the cure. Its considered a difficult room but we had 8 in our group and we didnt feel cramped and we did it with only four minutes left! Lol! Thank you for a great time!

Had a super fun time here! Escape rooms are always a ton of fun and a great way to get to know new people and bond with friends and family. This is the second escape room Ive done and the lockdown escape has funny staff and a nice clean building. Being so close to old Town Scottsdale, this place is perfect for a night out after grabbing something yummy to eat in the area.

Definitely the best experience ever! This was my first time ever doing an escape room and I’m so glad I chose them to do it with. It was so much fun! The imagination was so unique to put these rooms together and I loved that really had to work through the course! Plus the environment was super fun and friendly and the workers were amazing and so helpful! I would definitely go back!

The men’s restroom was disgusting. Looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. The girl that was working was nice but explained things way to fast. There were a lot of clues that had nothing to do with the chemical lab escape room. Hopefully they make some adjustments. We gave a two star because the girl was nice.

The staff are super nice and welcoming. The room was very well thought out and super fun. Definitely going back to do a second room and maybe a third later on.

Seriously so much fun. I took my son for his birthday with two of his friends and they had the best time. The host was really helpful and great with the kids. I think that experience gifts can be so much better than things. I really think this will be a birthday that he will remember for a long time!

This place is awesome. We did the chemistry lab for our first escape room ever (not recommended), but we almost had it completed when time was up; we were so close! I definitely want to go back and try the others now.

This was our first escape room so take review with a grain of salt. The area is weird tucked away in a strip mall. Inside though, very modern an clean with kind service. We did the thief room and it was a BLAST! Based on this experience we will be back and what else could you ask for

Fun and 4 people was perfect number for the Theft Room. It was just the right level of difficulty for us. We managed to steal the diamond with only a few minutes left. The staff was professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend this particular room for older teens and adults.

Great fun for the family. Facility was clean and nicely laid out. Our receptionist Michelle was friendly and courteous.The game room itself (Samurai) was well thought out and executed: no extra stuff to confuse you, almost everything in the room was used as part of the puzzles.Fun time, will definitely go again .

This was my first escape room and it was great. The girlfriends family and I did the Samurai room which had some awesome riddles and took us 45 mintues to complete between the 5 of us.The staff on site was helpful and Jocelyn was very energetic and helpful. You can tell she enjoyed her job and being there.I would recommend going to this location.

Wow what a fun experience (Chemical Lab). Very professionally set up and challenging. We also did the Samurai challenge, and loved the theme in the rooms and the challenges (this was the easier one.). *Updated* - we completed the third room as well (Jewel Thief) which proved to be more challenging than we expected, but very entertaining.

My family of four (two teens 16 and 17 are amazing puzzler solvers) completed the Chem lab room and escaped with just under 2 minutes to go! Weve done about 20 different escape rooms this one was one of our top five. It is challenging but doable. The theme is not scary (weve done some horror themed rooms). I wouldnt recommend doing it with young children as the puzzles are quite difficult.

My children and I did the jewel thief room and had a great time. A great hour of fun and we escaped, with a little help.

I decided to take my fiance for her birthday. She is a chemist and actually works in a Chem lab so I figured it would be our best option. After reading the reviews, I was confident it would be money well spent. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I have to question the authenticity of many of the reviews because I have a hard time believing anyone actually completed this room.My fiance and I had the first step solved involving the plants with poison and non-poison figured out, but there was an issue with one of the plants. There were green plants with yellow tips in several of the casings that were never identified as poisoned or not. The only plant similar had red tips. This completely killed us. This was clearly an error by the facility because this particular plant was never identified. We spent a large amount of our time trying to solve this component, but it skewed our numbers to access the computer screen. We were never able to move onto the second step. It was beyond frustrating.In order to have any chance to complete this room, you WILL need two hours. I knew it would be challenging, but not impossible. We were also really distracted by all of the noise from other rooms and the restaurant next door. The staff was really friendly! We hoped it would be a fun experience, unfortunately, after 20 minutes I felt like I just donated to this company. I wouldnt recommend the Chem lab, it was a poor choice on my part for a birthday outing. I am still disappointed.

My family searched for an escape the room site and decided to go to Lockdown Escape Rooms. This was our first time attempting something like this so we werent sure what to expect. We also found a deal on Groupon for the site :) Lockdown is located in a strip mall on the north side of McKellips Rd. The facility was very clean and we were warmly greeted by the front desk. We were taken to a briefing area to watch a short video. The host also gave us a quick but thorough explanation of what to do and not to do. We were given a two-way radio so that we could ask for hints if needed. We chose the mid-difficulty Theft room for our first time. Our entire family had a fantastic experience! For once, we were all working together. Even my 10 year old came up with solutions that none of the rest of us had thought of. Sometimes kids just have a different way of thinking of things :b. You have one hour to escape successfully and the room is constantly being monitored by the staff. We were down to the last 10 minutes and our tension grew. We finally escaped with a buzzer beater. Afterward, the staff was there to congratulate us and take pictures with the prize. We would definitely recommend Lockdown Escape Rooms to anyone in search of a great time.

Fun rooms that are well decorated. I especially enjoyed the Samurai room! Lab room seemed most difficult out of all the rooms to me. Clean place that has each booking as a private booking!

My family had such a fun time at this escape room! Super friendly staff, super fun rooms!We had so much fun the 1st room, Theft, we did the 2nd room, Chem Lab, spontaneously and had a blast! The rooms were challenging, totally not lame, and at the end when you get out, they play victory music. That was kinda the best part. I felt victorious.

I have visited several escape rooms before, we often organize corporate team activities as well. Nice, welcoming staff, interesting puzzles and overall a great experience. Thank you, definitely will be back one day.

This was the first escape room I’ve done, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but it was a fun experience. We did the diamond text experience. It was very challenging, but we were able to complete it (with a couple of clues given by the staff - you are allowed 3) before the time ran out. Friendly and helpful staff.

Ive done all three rooms here, and the rooms are extremely well done. Each room is more objective--based than just simply escape, which adds to the immersion factor. Samurai is extremely well done, which a really nice element for taking progress. Chem Lab is extremely difficult, and Theft enjoyable.The place itself is easy to find and well-kept and staff extremely hospitable, and judicious with its hint-giving.

This was a great family activity. The facility was really clean and well run. The private escape room allowed us to work together as a family.

Loved it! Highly technical with very clever puzzles and tasks. We had 2 very helpful young workers, but Im sad to say I dont know their names. The girl who gave our hints was great, enough information but not too much.

First time ever. Was apprehensive when my son surprised me with this Fathers Day gift. But once I got into the facility, the staff member (didnt get his name) was welcoming and informative. The room itself was quite a challenge, but a very enjoyable one. As it turns out, it was the most difficult room. We still managed to complete it with 3 minutes to spare. Quite an adrenaline rush! Total game time: 1 hour. Money well-spent. Great experience.

This was our second escape room and it was a blast! We liked that they are very well organized and you dont get endless clues. It made the experience more exciting and forced us to try even harder!

My family and I went to Lockdown Scottsdale recently. The staff was amazing! We had so much fun. We combined our skills and we were able to solve each room and get thru them before we ran out of time. My favorite was the jewelry heist room. The staff answered our many questions and were very helpful. If you and your family or group wants to do something fun and different, this is the place to go. We are looking forward to going again. Awesome!

Weve worked our way through all three rooms, and LOVE this place. My husband and I did two rooms (the Samurai room and the Chemical Lab) on date nights, and had a blast figuring out the clues and solving our way through the challenges. Wed never done an escape room before, and they got us hooked!We brought a group of friends with us to do the third room (the Theft), and we all had a wonderful time. Sooo much fun!Were looking forward to visiting more of their locations to try out differently themed rooms. Highly recommended!

Really good! Very high quality clues and it was a lot of fun. I like how it’s a lot cheaper than many escape rooms around (and they allow private rooms) but doesn’t slack on how well it’s made. Will definitely be going again.

It was fun and the room was elaborate. We didnt like their heavy use of decoy (useless) clues, it tends to be more fun if a hard room just has a high quantity of puzzles to solve or multiple rooms with different sets of clues.

We went to the Lockdown Escape Room this afternoon for the Theft experience, which we solved with more than 15 minutes to spare! For a first time group, we were pleased. We had such fun, we returned a few hours later for the Chem Lab. We completed it with 1 second left! Go us!

We had a great time! Weve been to a few escape rooms and this one was at the top. We did the thief room and loved all the high tech features. Nichelle was absolutely awesome and so nice to us. She wasnt bossy, and talked to us after about the room. I actually forgot for a second that she wasnt part of our group in the first place. Thanks!

We loved these escape rooms. Weve played all three. They are very high tech. They give you a big discount if you do another room right after finishing the first. They have a Groupon thats available for one of their rooms.

We went through the Samarai room with our family of seven. Including the two kids (7and10) we had a blast. The room was very clean and the puzzles were unique. We finished with 1:49 left to spare! I would highly recommend this to anyone.

The two ladies at Lockdown Scottsdale are full of energy and are wonderful hosts. We came here using the Groupon for the Theft room, and this was the most organized Escape Room company we have been to thus far. Bonus that you dont have to share the game with strangers. The short video played before entering the room helps get everyone in the mindset and excites you. The host clearly explains the rules. We were so impressed after escaping the Theft Room, we completed the other two rooms over the next two subsequent weekends. I forgot my hair tie the day we did the Chem Lab Room, so one of the hosts lent me hers.So fun! Keep up the great work, Lockdown! Will definitely check out their other rooms in San Diego and Las Vegas if we visit!

Had a great time. 3 of us did the Samurai room and escaped! Great puzzles and the look and feel of the room awesome. Our host Kyle was the best!

We had a good time here overall, but two of the clues were not stuck/ not functioning and we were going crazy trying to figure out what we were doing wrong on those and eventually were not able to solve the game in time because of that and it was pretty frustrating. There is a minimum expectation that your clues will function in an escape room. Otherwise the staff was great.

The staff were really nice and accommodating especially Kyle. He helped us understand the game and was extremely polite. The rooms are amazing and they are harder than it seem but it was fun. we will diffenatly come back

Had fun with the Heist room with a group of 2. Working in the dark was a bit difficult and frustrating at times but it was well designed overall.
