In the heart of Silicon Valley, in the midst of many other world-famous companies, this very large structure is certainly noteworthy. Here is Intels technical office but also a beautiful museum in which to retrace the history of processors and the company that made history over the past 51 years.Absolutely not to be missed, I recommend to all especially to computer technicians and technology experts this training course. Go there in the morning or early afternoon, you will be visiting here for about 2 hours at most :)

A must visit in Silicon Valley. Great to see what drives the valley. Very good intro to silicon technology for those who dont have much background. Look our for the guided tours. Only reason for 4 stars is that they could make it even more detailed to make the visitors understand the complex technology behind silicon chips!

Marveling at the best minds of the world. As we go through the exhibits in the museum, giving us detailed chronological ordered description of the history of the founders and development of Intel, stories of the very difficult and challenging decision makings were unfolded in front of us. Imagining the cofounders working on the heart of computers in 1968 when people then had not even the faintest idea what a computer was!! The visit was very inspirational and motivational.來逛Intel,深感佩服!

As an electrical engineer I thought this was an interesting museum and fun to explore. Its not very big and wouldnt suppose it would be very amusing for small children (under 10) unless theyre big into technology and electronics. They have a few interactive displays in the museum that is also fun to play with (like the binary spelling machine). The beat part about the museum is that its free! Enjoy!

Bit disappointing that it was a very small place considering 60years of pathbreaking innovation even eclipsing other more established companies of its era. I expected it to be much bigger in size.Anyway it did offer a very quick and short history of all key milestones at Intel and also provided a brief glimpse of the personal history behind Gordon Moore and Robert Noyce. They also had a souvenir shop with a lot if trendy and contemporary products with Intel branding.

Its a good place if you are a technology enthusiast. You can cover the whole museum in detail in one hour it isnt that much of a space. While I was there, there was a group of students on a tour and the guide was explaining how the chip making process works and what does it mean to be in a clean suit . that was very interesting. the augmented reality gadgets are really cool. There is a small gift shop if you want to pick a souvenir.

Its a good place to know Intels history and get an insight into the chip making and lab works... the history of Intel is described in detail and they have small augmented reality gadgets which would make your trip worth it. I wouldnt say it is a must-see in San Jose but if you have an hour to spare and dont know what to do then this is definitely a good place to visit

We had so much fun here. The staff really enjoyed teaching the kiddo everything he was willing to learn. We got some great pics in head to toe gear and a fun time was had by all. I would say no more than an hour would be needed for the average family, so it is a fantastic stop if youre on a road trip. It was a BIT difficult to get into the parking lot, so it helps to have a navigator in the passenger seat who can tell you when to turn, or you might end up back on the freeway. Yikes!

I was a bit underwhelmed with this museum. With as many products and innovations that Intel has had, I expected more information and more effective interactive exhibits. I know it is hard to compete with the nearby Computer History Museum (which I recommend over this one), but Intel needs to up their game.

Well designed exhibits tell the history and fame of Intel, its accomplishments, and founders. The gift shop has worthwhile gifts for all ages. The museum takes a pleasant hour to see the exhibits.

Fascinating museum. Yes, it is free. It is to an extent a marketing ploy by Intel, but that doesnt mean that it isnt super interesting. After all, Intel has dominated the processor market for so many years, its history is the the history of the industry in most respects. You will have a great time there!

Learned so much from this museum. Very grateful for the people who made it and offering it for free to the public. My family enjoyed every minute there. You get to see the process of manufacturing the chips and even get a chance to dress up with the bunny suit and get that feel of what is it you work in fully sterile environment. We saw and touched the pure silicon (Si) that gave the name of the whole area and turned it into the world famous Silicon valley :) Learned a lot about the accomplishments of Intel and there are some interactive areas too that kids enjoyed a lot.

The Intel museum details the 50 years of history of Intel corporation and is located in their headquarters. The museum is fairly small, more so a large room, but its free. If you were to read every plaque it would maybe take you an hour to finish. The museum details products and technologies developed and sold through Intels history. There are also a few interactive exhibits. If youre in the area, its worth stopping by. You can also visit the gift shop and pickup a souvenir.

A calm little museum about Intel history and their microprocessors. You can learn and see various stages of microprocessor manufacturing.I learned about microprocessors and its manufacturing in my college education. I only knew about them in ugly figures and diagram. So I was delighted to actually see it in real life in the museum. But at the same time, it brought those horrible memories of how much i hated the subject and the struggles to learn it and clear the exams. There is a little shop in the museum with Intel branded goodies and clothes. They are quite expensive. There is not much interesting going in there. But microprocessor geeks might find it very interesting.

Intel has a really interesting and informative small museum on site. Along with a store for purchasing Intel branded merchandise. Being X-pats of Silicon Valley and having never seen the giants of the valley in the 20 years we lived near by, we spent a day to see Intel, Google, Apple and Facebook. Of all the location Intel was the most interesting because of its museum. Apple and Google are basically just stores. Facebook is just a lowly sign since it has no location for the general public to visit.

This is a fun little museum. Its free. It has exhibits relating to the founders of Intel and how Intel manufactures silicon chips. They had some old fossils -- 486 chips and a calculator that went back some years--- that brought back a little nostalgia. The kids who were visiting appeared to enjoy the exhibits --- particularly the clean room garb. Im not a techie, and there was a little too much detail on some of the exhibits. But there were some interesting gadgets in the store, including a pad that helps to keep my cell phone on my cars dashboard.

A rather small museum but very well done from the didactic standpoint! Congratulations!Especially people not at all into computers learn about the scale of sizes, what 22nm actually means. You also see a silicon ingot from which the wafers are sliced. The personnel is incredibly helpful full of knowledge. It is not a museum to have hundreds of yards of walk, it is very condensed. But you see that Intel even produced watch circuits in the beginning - and also the CPU of the Altair. You will learn how chips are manufactured.Spend time watching the videos and learn.Admission is completely free of charge. Be careful to park your car onto the visitor parking. there is a sign for Museum Visitors.

Maybe this place is under renovation? But on our June 2019 visit there were a number of exhibits that were not working. The binary code machine wasnt working. The binary rain wasnt going.
