Beautiful gardens and labyrinth with unique plants native to Egypt. The park also has a strong educational component, with signs and handouts describing the buildings and fauna. There is even an ancient Egyptian game that can be played by guests.

I work down the street from here and it is beautiful hidden gem. You cannot see the garden and structure past the trees it is worth stopping buy! I believe it is 5.00 to get in. There are really interesting artifacts and if you love history go here. there is a huge replica of king tut and Rosetta stone inside. I would say about an hr for the self guided tour. There are mummies and Sphinx and a resting area outside to eat lunch. They do not sell food or allow food inside but Starbucks is across the street, as well as a huge shopping center further down.

When I need a respite from this high pace world, I can always count on this park to still my mind and bring peace to me. I usually meander for an hour or so taking in the beauty of the manicured rose gardens and wondering at the mystery and history of the artifacts and statuary on the grounds. Lovely.

This review is for the park only. A lot of the reviews (both bad and good) for the park are actually for the museum. The park outside the museum is small but beautiful, and open to the public with a small, free parking lot. There are fruit trees and vines, and waterlilies with koi in a pond lined by papyrus plants. There are benches under beautiful old trees and its just a beautiful and relaxing place to sit and enjoy some time in this secluded spot, right in the heart of the city.(Its also close to the Municipal Rose Garden, so if youre visiting here for the gardens and have time for a detour, you should stop there, too, although that is a completely different style of garden.)

This place is weird. The garden area is immaculately maintained, the library has hundreds of old books on conspiracy theories (holy grail, book of the dead, etc), while the museum is a Egyptologists worst nightmare. The didactic placards are uniformed and uninformative. I mean, they even have a whole floor devoted to alchemy without even once mentioning that its all junk science.

Beautiful park. Well maintained. Lovely plants and sculptures. It was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday afternoon.
