Beautiful park! Some parts of the trail are very narrow. A decent amount of shade. Watch out for bicyclists because the trails are narrow and they get a lot of speed on the trails.

A perfect place to shoot! Please make sure to leave a few bucks ($5 would be great) when you go shoot in the iron ranger (Golden Pole near the entrance.) so the club can maintain this area as amazingly as they have!!!

Home away from home.Members, volunteers & cool events make this place feel welcome. From novice to expert, the bio shoot, golden arrow, or the club 900 shoots test your skill & make it fun too. Majority of fellow shooters are supportive & offer advice or are eager to listen to gain knowledge of archery. Positive Synergy is the vibe here, contribute and keep it moving forward.

This Archery range is amazing! It’s free to the public, but you can join the archery club for a low price. There’s over a dozen targets set up in their own areas, so there’s a strong chance of having your own area to yourself. They are open everyday from 8am to Sunset. Please always respect and follow all the rules. Black Mountain Bowmen provide this amazing place to the public to enjoy.

This place is a jewel if you are an archer. Wonderful range and course, great people, and solid club to back it all up. Never empty but rarely full either (except occasional event days) and Ive always found a helpful person when I had a question or needed a quick hand with equipment.

This is a really cool place if youve got your own bow and arrows. They have a trail that goes up over the mountain and has some really cool, but hard, shots. I like the 80 ft shot over a canyon, and the shorter shot down a hill in-between some tree branches. If youre looking for lessons or rentals, look elsewhere though. The range is kept in excellent shape through donations.

Free archery range. Nice lane with target under trees. Training Ng range with multiple target with distance from 15 yard to 70 yard. Large parking. There are picnic table through out the park. There are also target on a parcours. You walk in the hills and you have target along the way located at different distance. There is a map at the entrance what shows the different lay out. Multiple bow hangers on the park. Even though the range is free, it is welcome to leave a donation at the entrance. The hail bay are maintained by the club and those target need to be bought. The entrance to the parking lot can be sometime in rougth shape since the road is dirt.

Everything is well taken care of. The static range is huge! The targets or the course are challenging, but very fun!

Every time I go, Im always learning something new to improve my archery while on the training targets! Its kept well by the Black Mountain Bowmen Archery Club. As its an outdoor range, if you dont have a good shot, be prepared to lose arrows.
