I have to say I was surprised how awesome this place was. The why they made the famous actors, singers, athletes and much more were very good. And price is not to bad. But check it out your self.

Even after residing close to NYC, I never got a chance to visit Madame Tussauds. For that reason, I didnt want to miss the opportunity in SF.This accessible museum is such a fun place to be, exhibiting numerous wax statues of celebs from various genres could be seen & few of them were unrecognizable for some reason.Of all the rooms, the flower room remains on top of my list, the prison set up and then the Camping site.Besides the intricate details added to the rooms not to mention the statues, I love the provision of extra costumes & tiaras for a more decent photo-op.We purchased combined tickets online for Tussauds & The Dungeons at a reasonable price. This wax museum is suitable for all ages!#Day2

It was good but not that great. The madam tussauds in London still beats all the others I have seen. There are some wax figured but all in all they were not that spectacular. It did not feel like much efforts were put into all the figures.. My best wax figure was Morgan Freeman.. Which unfortunately I forgot to take his pic

Whenever I am in a city that has a Madame Tussauds, I definitely make an effort to go and this location was no different. I am not sure how busy they usually are but I felt like I had the place to myself which was awesome! I got selfies with all the greatest celebrities. Especially the photo with my girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston!

It was fun. It was just a Madame Tussauds at the end of the day however. We wanted to do the San Francisco Dungeon but it was closed that day so they let us do Madame Tussauds instead which we had done in various other locations. Its pretty much the same stuff.

Everything was great they have wax sculpters of every famous person ever including presidents except Trump which kinda makes sense since its in Mexico XD. This place has the friendliest staff I have ever met , that mixed along with the great showmanship and detailed wax models make my personal experience here a 9/10

To be honest, I was a little freaked out about how realistic this figures were. The path laid out is well done and each person has a great description of random facts and important details. The price was maybe a little high but a lot of work went into each of these figures so it makes sense.

A must see if youve never been to a wax museum before. Ive lived in Northern California my whole life and have never gone to a wax museum. It was definitely interesting to see the many different people who were made into wax models. Also theres music playing through each type of room that adds to the feel and vibe of the themed rooms. Very cool I must say. Admission fee is approximately $25.00. Next door they also had like a Dungeon Exhibit but the day my friend and I went, it was closed. There was a signage promoting if we bought the tickets to the Dungeon Exhibit next door which was around $30.00, we would have gotten free admission to the wax museum. Missed our chance but overall a lively experience. There are also little activities throughout the museum that they offered like hand wax pouring for a small fee but that day they were not offering it. If you just walk through youll finish quickly. If you want to take pictures for your social feed it will take at at least 30mins-1hr or more depending on how extensive you want your shots to be. I manage to take pictures many a little too much but I always like looking back at them a day later for fun. I took a lot of mini video clips too it never hurts. Video clips are a little more fun and reminds me of the 90s with the camcorder days. Whenever I re-watch them, its like reliving the moment during that day, fills me with childlike wonder so it just makes you feel good. Again if youve never gone I recommend going. Its definitely fun to be right next to one(or many) of your favorite idols and you also get to see how tall they actually are. I found myself trying to get under the armpits of a couple of them just to see how tall they actually were while trying to take a selfie. Its a lot harder than you think and was unsuccessful. Try it for yourself. ️

The staff was friendly and created a fun environment. This is definitely a place Id recommend. Its not expensive and its somewhere that the whole family can enjoy. The figures are very interactive and youre allowed to touch most of them which is great for photo-ops. I was a tiny bit disappointed with the amount of figures they had, but its still great nonetheless. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

This is the first and hopefully of many to come visits of Madame Tussauds. The wax statues are good but still feel they could have been way better, some were on point while others were just a little bit off. I loved the ambiance of the room, its so photogenic and peaceful. The day I was here there werent any other people around so it was almost as if we had an exclusive tour of the place. Al Capone for me was totally on point, heck he even looked real but Serena Williams and a few others werent done any justice at all, they just looked fake. But overall it was a nice experience meeting the inanimate equivalents of the Hollywood stars.

We did the Alcatraz Break Out Room. Excellent for staff team building as a fun work event. There were a lot of laughs and everyone jumped in to help solve the puzzle and many strengths were revealed. Great for fun memories, bonding and fun photos. However, there are some BIG safety concerns and a critique:Critique first-Small loss of one star since they did not tell us when we arrived we had to sign waivers or we could not do it. They only have one tablet and so each person signed in one by one. It took 15-20 minutes. That was a drag as we all had to stand around waiting. Poorly done, M Tussauds. You can afford more than one tablet; they are cheap if not free these days.BIG SAFETY CONCERN-Restrooms are in the basement in the dark. Its awful. Totally unsafe! Do not take elderly or those with special needs. I was escorted down there by the actor who played our jail warden. Then he left me down there. I had to find my way out in the dark. That should be illegal!!! Other customers were coming down in a small group to find the restrooms and when I came around a dark corner one of the men screamed and jumped back. We were all startled it was not comfortable or fun or funny. They definitely lost a star for that too. There should be safety lighting and there is none.Thankfully, there was no fire or earthquake and no loss of life. City inspectors need to hear of this.

STAFF CALLED ME NAMES. WAX HAND A WASTE OF MONEY. Great displays of famous wax figures and being able to take photos with them was worth the admission though unless you like to buy a photo of yourselves in front of a green screen when entering, excuse yourselves with the photographer and get on the elevator. The disappointing part was as we exited the museum into the gift shop (surprise!)that our ticket came with a wax hand coupon with a employee that wasnt helpful at all. He ask my wife and I what we wanted after taking our coupon, and me being my first time here, ask what do you have? He seemed bored and not wanting to be there and soon I was feeling the same way. As I was asking questions about my choices and the process, my wife ask if he minded my questions, her sensing his lackadaisical attitude where he told her I was a nerd, as if I wasnt in front of him. Anyway we finished the process and I noticed that the wax hand with to come with a preservation kit. I asked him about the kit and he explained what it did, but did not include it in our box as we found out later. Waste of money. Dont get the wax hand, enjoy the museum with a camera and run, dont walk through the gift shop.
