Great historic skate spot. No idea why all of these ledges were installed here. There are a lot of ledges. Maybe dozens. Surprisingly good condition for how long the spot has been around.

I do not understand the question Carl how was 3rd and Cesar Chavez?. Ummm... OK, I guess. It was fine but I fit in most anywhere. It may not be everybodys or even most peoples cup of tea. Hard to say. Good luck.

A nice destination park for an afternoon walk, in an unexpected location. Not much pretty in this neighborhood, especially when walking, but this out of the way park, across the canal from the Islais Creek Park, is a pretty place to sit for a bit away from the traffic, with a view of the canal.Note that (as with everything in this pedestrian hostile hood) its akward to get to. Easiest way is to take Indiana St. south from Ceaser Chavez, which dead-ends at a park entrance.
