Whether you are looking for a conversation piece of art or a high quality piece furniture it’s the place to come. We no longer live in the immediate area, but have made the trek north when looking for special and unique items for our home and for gifts. They take care of all of the arrangements for delivery and ensure my pieces arive safely and quick. You can find exquisite and unique items from all over the world here. Aldo and Tony have always been super helpful from the first moment I stop in until everything is set up at my home.

I enjoyed the service from beginning to end provided by Michaels and thats not to mention the most stunning Italian chandelier I bought. It was stored for 5 months without complication by Michaels and just 1 day after I requested it was delivered to the address I gave in Washington. When I unwrapped the light which took 2 hours due to careful packaging it was just as stunning as I remembered. There were no cracks and only 1 slight chip which would not be seen anyway. It took a long time to hang- about 2 hours due to the great detail required to assemble this at its best. Overall I am more than happy with the quality of service and product offered by Michaels.

I had been searching for the perfect chandelier for years, but could never find the one I had envisioned. While I was visiting San Fran I was lucky enough to wander into Michael’s Art Gallery. While the piece I discovered was amazing, the customer service was what will keep me returning. They listened to my requests and matched me with exactly what I was looking for. If you are needing something original these are the guys who you need to talk to!

We really enjoyed our shopping experience at Michael Fine Art & Antiques while visiting San Francisco. The Fine Art was of impeccable quality, and taste. All of the sales staff made us feel very welcomed, and let us walk through the gallery of Fine Art at our own pace. We found several pieces of Fine Art that now adorne our home. We have definitely put Michael Fine Art & Antiques on our agenda for every visit to San Francisco. James M.

We almost bought a chandelier from the store, until I found the same exact one on Amazon for $252... they wanted over $2,000 from us. When I told him we changed our minds and explained, the guy started criticizing the product without seeing it, saying it’s from China (actually it’s from Germany just like the one they had in their store...), etc. Very fishy behavior. They had gorgeous items, but I’d do a Google search before buying anything.

My hubby and I wandered into this delightful shop 8 years ago and purchased some beautiful furnitures. The owner and staff were so friendly and took their time to explain their products in detail. What really impressed us was the great delivery/ installation service they did: they meticulously packagedoversized fragile items when weeks later everything arrived in a crate to where we lived. To this day our chandelier, all the marble statues and inlay wood furnitures still looked brand new. Nothing tarnished and deteriorated with time or sun exposure. I’d stop by in a heartbeat if ever I am in San Fran again.

One of the best buying experiences ever! Walked past the store while visiting San Francisco (Apr 2013), did a double take looking at the amazing art and furniture displays. Next thing you know my wife and I are in the massive 5 story showroom looking around in awe. Of course, I just wanted to look and then say, Great stuff, too expensive for me, lets go! But, Im glad we stayed and met and talked with Barack, Tony and the team. Very friendly approach as they let us take our time as we looked at items that would go very nicely in our home back in Australia. When I raised the objection, but, we live in Australia! Barack repied, Great! Weve got a container on the dock right now going to Australia. Then he proceeded to offer an amazing deal on the items we thought would be awesome to own! The deal was so good even I couldnt refuse ... So, about 2 months after our trip to the USA, a big truck pulled up to our house with our shipment. Out came the 2 huge Italian paintings, Sorento living room set w/coffee table, marble top dinning room table and 6 chairs, living room dresser, oriental study desk, fine wooded jewelry box, 2 china sets, fancy love seat (my wife saw it in the elevator and said, can I have that?) a top of the line oriental (fancy) rug, a Michael Angelo ceramic (capo de mente) and probably a few other things Ive left out. I was very impressed with the packing; very secure; done by experts; no damage ... amazing! Now, we relive our wonderful shopping experience at Michaels every day as we enjoy the beautiful furniture and arts we bought. Like I said, one of the best buying experiences I ever had!

The sales staff will tell you a piece is solid wood and made in Italy. Extreme high pressure sales tactics by rude men.
