This is and will always be an inspiring place. A space to come and express yourself and not feel judged. Melonie and Melorra are amazing women and the complex is a historic place because of the hard work these women have put into it. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this place.

The art in this Museum will suck you in and change your life. I enjoyed every second of my experience. The Kwanzaa celebration was complete and quite enjoyable. I feel a lot of knowledge coursing through the Halls of this Museum. I cannot wait till next year to see what happens, because every visit reveals so much.

I continue to return to see plays and performances since my late teens! Its in the citys historic Jazz Preservation District. Emerging talent come through this wonderful establishment. Ive seen The Tempest and Cinderella and both of these plays were entertaining and wonderful. Great for all ages and family. Easy to get to on public transportation by taking the 22 Fillmore or 21 Hayes MUNI bus lines.
