Sick park in the heart of Golden Hills. Soccer goals and other equipment available. Grass is a bit off but that may just be because of COVID-19.

My kids learned to play basketball in this park with my ex, my best friend, may he rest in Paradise as of June of this year, Richard Lopez.

It is great walking my Bozzhley and Zoehy. And it feels safe because the San Diego Police Department is always driving around keeping the community free of fear to be one self. As in my case; dancing and singing and embracing life. BB

Great local resource basketball courts, playground, teen rec area, movies in summer, and baseball fields.

Great park just 10 minutes east of downtown and adjacent to one of San Diegos best public golf courses, Balboa Golf Club. In addition to one indoor court that is always bustling with activity, the park also boasts softball fields, handball courts, outdoor basketball courts and a childrens play area. Many organized activities are also available to the community such as sports leagues and arts and crafts.

We play softball here with San Diego Social Leagues and its a ton of fun!

Great place to practice baseball and other sports

I’m 15. I’ve been goin there since I was 5. I’ve played on their baseball team ever since 2012. I’ve played football since 2015. I’ve had birthday parties and barbecues there. I love that place

The first time I came, therewas a white Jeep that catched on fire and was 5 cars away from my mothers car.

The gym floor needs improvement, very slippery even with new shoes on. The people that play there are cool though.

Its a rec center so bball, nice view for hiking or jogging, pool, handball courts.golfcourse super close as well but not connected to rec center.

Nice park, clean bathroom.

Our group was having training in one of the classrooms. We were constantly being interrupted by the individuals that were in the gym. They would come into the foyer and have loud conversations disturbing our class. The person on duty there did nothing to control it as it continued to disrupt us.

Nice place, well organized. I definitely recommend golden hill recreation center to everyone who wants to have fun.

THE BEST PARKS IN SAN DIEGO

Tricky to find even with GPS. I didnt go inside as event was outdoors. Parking is on street but usually ok.
