Of course its only card tables! But there not too friendly! I was like 1 of 5 white people is mostly Asian,Chinese, etc... Probly wont go back! The card casino in Daily City is Lil better!

1st time eating here, & the minute I walked in I got a great welcoming. Took our order quick. Sat down at the bar for a drink while waiting for our food. The drinks were perfect & after a few minutes they brought our food to us . It was delish. The customer service was great . Thanks

I only come here for the food. On Saturday, October 24th I brought a girlfriend here for lunch on her bday. Before COVID the menu is a lot larger. Which included such items as prime rib, roasted duck, spaghetti, and eggplant. I was reeeally looking forward to the eggplant. Unfortunately, the menu was downsized to your basic entrees such as sandwiches, salads, wonton soup, chow mein, and fried rice. We had the combination wonton soup and the black bean sauce chicken. Both dishes were good.

Most of the staff is friendly. I went to the mens restroom and most of the men didnt wash their hands after peeing they should pay someone to stand in the mens bathroom so they make them wash their hands since they are going to play with cards and chips. Please work on it!!!!!!

Not many tables or people. Not fun and staff is kinda dead there. They have no emotions like laughter or just some light talkative moments. Nope just there to be there like a robot. Boring!!!!

Restaurant.. Great place to get food at a late hour. Large selection of eats with good portions. Some vegetarian options. I had The porridge with duck which was pretty flavorful but I love salt so I added some soy sauce. Felt like plenty of calories for my money. Everyone else who got an order with me was happy. Cash only. No 50s or 100$ accepted. ATM gives out hundreds.

Meh. Im not the gambler but frequently am there and see some good employees and a few arent my favorite... Cashiers need to know some better manners. The dealers are usually fun and give a good time. Its nice to see big wins and the energy can get intense.

The service here is very good, it’s like a local spot! People know your name or at least what game you play even if you’ve only been a few times. Service is quick and it is very well staffed so you hardly have to wait to play whatever game you’d like. I do wish they had a 8/16 game in between the 6/12 and 20/40 game for limit poker. Also if you’re trying to play NL here, good luck even on a Friday or Saturday, it’s all PL here

Artichoke Joes is a very small casino, that has the greatest people working there. Not to mention their great menu and food. The only reason i dont give them 5 stars is so i can leave them room to get better.

Exclusivity has table gambling, poker and such but the bar drinks are cheap and the restaurant is way better then should be I recommend the chicken Caesar salad or the steak sandwich also be sure to grab yourself a slice of Apple or peach pie always amazing will be coming again regularly

Overall a decent place to go in San Bruno for poker or card table games.Reasonably clean and a pretty large poker room. Dont expect to okay NL hold em during the week though. We got a game going but it took ages.Other table games are fun, but the tables themselves are a little old and in need of updating.Food and beverage are reasonably priced, but quality is only okay.

This place is so great for 24 he food. CASH only. No phone orders. Must be 21. The service is outstanding as I learned all of the above the hard way but everyone was helpful and patient me. Sitting in the dining/ bar area waiting for the food is a relaxed atmosphere that one could definitely sit enjoying people watching. They have daily specials which are usually under 10 bucks and the food we ate was excellent. Theres plenty of parking, it walking distance from BART and CalTrain but I think they offer a shuttle. Im not 100% positive. It is off the 101 close to SFO. Its a great spot you cant miss because its lit up like a true casino. I will be eating here on my late nights! Thanks Jenny for being so kind to me when I clearly was unprepared my first time dining here.

Grab a Ramos fizz,a nice breakfast, and play a little poker! They have a great bar with several sporting events. Also breakfast, lunch and dinner! The staff are super friendly, beginners welcome.

My go-to poker room. Great card room with regular running 3/6, 6/12, and 20/40 limit games, 1-2-2 NL, and a variety of daily bonuses and jackpots. Drinks are also fairly inexpensive, and the food is surprisingly good (potstickers recommended). If youre into table games they have a wide array. But those arent my thing.

My second time in a casino. Artichoke Joes is a card room only casino. Didnt know there were different kinds; good to know, though! Played a few rounds of three card poker, then watched my friend show me how its done, while I took mental notes. The guy sitting next to me put his bet down on the table, announced that he was playing a blind bet, then got up and went to the restroom. While gone, the dealer turned over the guys cards to reveal a Queen of hearts, a King of hearts, and an Ace of hearts (a Royal Flush). When tallied up, the guy had won a total of $40,000 on his blind bet while in the restroom. The guy gets back to the table, which by now had drawn quite a crowd, totally oblivious to his high winnings. I told him, You got a Royal Flush... $40,000 for you! He looked with amazement and maintained his composure. I know inside he was jumping up and down screaming, I won! I won!. What might he be doing tomorrow? Probably going car shopping... I know I would be!!!

The restaurant is a hidden gem. Had delicious salmon here.

I liked the look of the place. More modern compared to lucky chances. Bar is a western saloon style which is interesting. Bar is bigger than lucky chances. Cafe or restaurant is what gave it 3 stars. First its cash only(which sucks). What casino does that. You eat with plastic silverware on plastic plates. How cheap is that. Lucky chances food is better hands down.

Chill atmosphere to kick back and unwind. Theres a bar and restaurant in the back as well.

Little too crowd

The dealers that Ive known in the past isnt the same as the ones now. When youre dealt a hand with seven cards, the objective is to make best poker hand. However, with no pair and highest card is Ace and banker has no pair also Ace high the rule is what are the next four biggest card of the last four cards left. The dealers now goes through the motion so quick that a mistake might cost you. Stop them and have them review you hand and if possible call pit manager over, its your money at play. Although, he or she might side with the house too. Never let someone touch your shoulders, come-come, or dai siu its bad luck. They loose $20 and you loose $5K, but when they win they call themselves lucky charm to you. Lucky charm my a** when you loose they walk away to look for another table. I bank a minimum of $5K or more on each bank without the help of (prop banker) aka corporation. Thank you very much!

Food is pricey, but high quality. Dont get an ice cream, because its an overpriced ice cream stick from the store. Some other items may not be worth the price either. I recommend the Cobb Salad because it has loads of Avocado, a nice piece of chicken breast, and lots of variety in the salad.

My local card room, I love this place. The food is good, they have a cool bar and serve tall frosty beers, and live poker games with $100K bad beat jackpot, any four of a kind beaten wins. The staff are friendly and fair. I recommend it.

I ate a pancake. Two stacks and two sluces of bacon. 8 bucks. It is quite expensive and the food was par at best. I have never seen any casino that has only card games and not a single slot machine was there.

This place has been around for a long long time, the people is good and the dealers are friendly. But theyre in a dire need of an upgrade on the inside.

The bar area is great, the bartenders are super attentive and friendly and mix quality drinks. Ive never gambled there but the atmosphere is fun and there is always good music playing.

I love the fact that you can grab a bite to eat here, 24 hours a day. The food is great and the prices are great too. Also, when you tell them to make your meat rare or medium rare, they know how to oblige. Dont forget that this is a casino.... have fun!

I enjoy gambling every so often, but this place is not a place I will return to. Staff gives you a type of look making you feel uncomfortable, if you play blackjack out of 5-10 hands you might win 2 or 3, only 1 table of blackjack was available and if Im not doing so well at blackjack the other tables have a minimum bet 3 times higher to play and if Im not doing good at blackjack, I highly doubt Id do well at the other table games and certainly not planning to pay 3 times more to play when Ive already lost... I just left and would prefer the other Card Clubs/ Casinos

Im talking more than a 25% hike!!! That $15.00 steak? It will now cost you $19.00. The food is still good but with their new price hike, its no longer a deal. For $19.00 I can get a good meal anywhere on this restaurant lined block..... Its very obvious that management has chosen the path to gouge the many gamblers who dont leave the playing tables and eat in place. ..Many customers would rather eat and gamble then get up and go eat in one of the many restaurants in the area... And, who could blame them? If I gamnled Id surly do the same! Why not? Its very convienent... The disgusting part is, Artichoke realized this and took full advantage of it and their customers! Management KNOWS a customer would never leave to eat so,,,,why not take full advantage of them and raise the food prices by more than 25%?? The high prices have made it very uninviting for the many people like us who didnt gamble but often enjoyed coming here for a good meal and maybe a drink from the bar.. We came here for many many years and sorry to say, we will no longer be coming back ...Its just too expensive and just doesnt seem worth it anymore..

Little cheesy clean enough clean older bathrooms pricey drinks with beers at 6 dollars have food but didnt get anything. All table card games most blackjack constant shuffle machine and dollar a hand collection. Paigow hold em three card poker and bakarat and paigow tiles. Decent place but choices are limited so you get what you can.

Look Not the fanciest place but everybody was pretty cool in there. Even the players losing their money. I would go back the next time I’m in town. More like 3 1/2 stars.

This is classic, old-style card room thats been a fixture in San Bruno for 50 years. They have all the standard Holdem poker and Asian gambling games. Love their renovated Cowboy-themed bar. The food is excellent. Their prompt chip and food service on the gambling floor, however, places Joes head and shoulders above other casinos in the Bay Area

Old school. Needs work. Plenty of tables. Perhaps if their minimum bets were raised it would attract higher end clients. Needs improvement. Staff varies in customer service skills.

This is my 2nd home I love this place

This is an old-fashioned card parlor with Pai Gow and additional games. No machines. I can only speak for the poker tables. Fast, efficient, friendly dealers. Most of the players are grizzled men in caps, but women are welcome and treated well by male players in my experience. They have tournaments most days. Large Chinese menu with additional card room food available at the table or in the bar/restaurant--restaurant is self-serve.

I come here to eat late at night. They are open almost 24 hours and they serve all menu items all day. They have breakfast, Chinese food and American style dinner food. The steak sandwich is a must.
