Went by there tonight just to say goodbye Wild West you will be miss.

Celebrated my Birthday evening here, in May! The D.J. made a joke that it was my 21st, and someone bought me a Molten Chocolate Cake! Took the dance class, and made a few new friends, and danced the rest of the evening. It was a good crowd, but enough room to dance. Ill definitely visit, again! The complimentary popcorn is a nice touch, too. ️

I love this place because of the cool workers and because it is a clean establishment. The workers are very friendly and the bathrooms are always clean. There isnt a urine smell and there arent urine stains all over the walls. Even though its a Country club, they always play a nice mixture of music. Will definitely return here.

Wild West... The GM always makes me and my boyfriend feel right at home. This place is clean and tidy, on top of that, the bartenders are friendly and always look out for you! Great spot to be between Thursdays through Saturdays! Tuesdays are their awesome obstacle BAR WARS NIGHT which is super fun also! Many prizes involved!

Midnight Rodeo part 2.... just as good as its predecessor with a newer feel. Great drink prices... highly recommended!!!

This is a very nice establishment! They had a show that I found on Groupon and I really liked the atmosphere. The bartenders are amazing and its very affordable, but still you get class. I liked it there and definitely will be going back!

A sushi bar within a dance bar, innovative but kinda tacky. Ill be honest, havent tried the food but the dance crowd seemed.....low in census. It looks like a place for my lovely parents but not for the young crowd

My first time here this past weekend.There was a cover.The Male bartender was very rude and almost made fun of me to my face because I wanted a glass of wine.Will never go back. Go to cooter browns or thirsty horse.

Its ok. Got charged to much. Had a open tab and they hit my tab 4 times. Hello. It open. Should have been one charge. They told me it is what it is. Wow. I spent a lot of money there.

First time for an event and I will not be going back. I was upsetting to get there at 9p, paid $60 and group didnt come out on stage until 1030p, played until 1130p, took a break for an hour and then came out again 1230a-130a. Had I known that I would have never purchased my tickets being that the ONLY reason I purchased my tickets was to see the group.

Cant wait to take their dance classes with my girlfriend.

Been going here for years! Good little dancehall, Woody and Kelly are fantastic bartenders, and Roly is an awesome dance instructor for those looking for some free lessons on Saturday nights!

Drinks are good but there has been a definite drop in decor and experience over the last year.

Its nice kinda like Midnight Rodeo I c how they r sister clubs but Midnight Rodeo is so much bigger n better

First time here and Ill definitely be back! Atmosphere is great, DJ plays all kinds of music, good size dancefloor, and pool, along with other games to keep you entertained when youre not dancing. Drinks are a little pricey but thats my only complaint.

Good for a fun night out, especially if you are an actual (even competitive) country dancer. I like this place more than Cowboy because the quality of dances here is generally higher. Cowboy has too many kids (which is both good and bad), depending on what your motive is4 stars bc I sometimes they throw random weird event. For example, last Thursday, they allowed the 13th floor clowns to come in and promoted the business, which is understandable but that freaked lots of my friends out. Also, their competition needs better criterias and judges rather than just crowd appealing

Great atnostphere, country music & always a great time. There are some amazing dancers here & they offer lessons sometime during the week.

I love the variety of music to dance to. It can become really live based on the energy of the crowd! Arrive early and typically enjoy dancing more before it’s crowded! I suggest girls not to wear sandals or opened toed shoes cause you’ll get stepped on!Once sits really crowded just grab a few drinks and dance when the floor clears up! Occasionally there are competitions and they’re entertaining. Been here at least 30 times a year since 2013

Great Country Western spot for Dancing, Drinks and having Fun!

Had never visited this gem in my own back yard until last week! The bar is alright, but I go out to dance and this hall suits that just fine. Good crowd showed up, DJ played a wide range of genres (mostly country, obviously). The only complaint I have about it is there parking, but overall it was a fun place to spend a Saturday night!

I love this place the bartenders know what they are doing and are great conversationalists. The shot girls are actually carrying around good shots and they arent that expensive either. Thursday is ladies night thats the best time to go.I wish they would open up the old smoking section again because it was amazing and they changed it to a weird gated off area off to the side instead of the end of the building. Thats why my review wont be 5 stars.

I always have a great time at Wild West!The new DJ took out the thumping bass (thank you, Pete) and turned it down a bit (something I have been requesting for years). Music is a good mix , but some more modern songs would be welcomed by the experienced dancers. The new rule of only 21 and up is nice because now there is more space on the dance floor. My one complaint- Wild West, please STOP with the smoke machines! That chemical triggers my asthma and makes it hard to dance (which is all I go there to do). There are many of us who cant handle cigarette smoke, but many forget that the smoke machine is synthetic and harmful for some.

Typical country bar. Usually have Daisy Duke or bikini contest on Wednesdays or Thursdays. Drinks are pretty cheap great place to meet people. Very chill spot to hang out with friends or meet other singles. Music is pretty good.

Sushi Cowboy is amazing! Cant wait to go back best BBQ sushi I have ever had you should try it you will love it!

This place used to be THE place to go. Then they changed Fri and Sat to 21 and up only .Also, they dont like to run the AC and keep customers comfortable and happy, shouldnt have to beg for air conditioning!! Its so empty on weekends that myself and regular guests/friends go to the competition now. Also, the DJ needs to play top 40 club country, not a mix of old and tired country. How do they not figure this out??Wish they would fix these problems, used to love it here, not anymore....P S. Stop blaming your declining business on traffic and construction on 281. Its management decisions that are killing it, people will come if you do it right!

Loved going out for my friends birthday and seeing the costume contest. Music, people, and vibes were great and all in all Id call the night a success. Drinks are decently priced, my bartender Bill was excellent, making drinks quickly and very attentive to me and other customers. Mariah was extremely friendly with a radiant smile and made me feel welcomed.

My self and family feel safe and welcomed at this club club manager greets as many as he can to fellow club goers. Love this guy

One of my favorite places to go out to in San Antonio. The crowd tends to be 21 to about 30 but it is a 18 and up bar. I worked as door staff there one summer and had a blast. Great people to work with.

I heard that is 21+ on the weekends now which seems like it takes a big chunk of the crowd out. And I also heard they are putting a sushi place in....ew... not long before this place is completely gone with the stuff they are changing

It might be a nice place in general but every time I am going there there is some fights going on at the end of the night, maybe this is just the folks they pull in and they cant change that much. But ok it is nice to be there and enjoy some western music and dance.Parking of course can be an issue even that they use the parking lots all around, but when it gets full it is best when you have some pickup or SUV so you can park on the dirt lot.

Circular dance track, friendly staff, fairly clean, open side rooms for talking and relaxing. Hosted karaoke the other night. Fun

Its an ok place to hang out

Went there on a Wednesday. Pretty empty. Few people but we didnt seem welcomed. We were trying to have a good time on our last night in TX. They have plenty of rules. The bouncer came up to say if youre not dancing get off the dance floor. Then dont drink here neither. Cant take your bottle of water outside....Only one or two couples were dancing. Will not come back. Completely different treatment at other saloons/clubs. We found San Antonio to have the friendless people and welcoming except here on our last night unfortunately.

This place is a lot of fun! Its always been a very friendly laid back crowd here and everybody has a good time. It is DJ only, no live bands so thats kindof a bummer. The dance floor is very nice. The employees here are very professional.

Great bar, not classy, but dont dress like your not civilized. Management is pretty cool and the door person I believe her name is Michelle is an awesome greeter when you first walk in. Ill definitely be going back.

Great for the newly 21 crowd and a decent dance floor.They charge a cover on weeknights with a half empty space and if youre not Caucasian or display tattoos of any kind be prepared to be hassled at the door about weapons and your purpose.If you want a less yuppy experience head over to Thirsty Horse. But if a young crowd, racial profiling, and Urban Cowboy themed scene is your thing then this place is your jam.

Empty for a Friday night

The door guys are totally out of control. Im an ex military 56 year old man and got treated like some thug from Compton California. I was harrassed at the door and asked if I had any weapons on me, then made to practically undress at the door to prove it to them. Listen, Im an old cowboy and wear my hair military style, wear pressed Ariat shirts, Wranglers and shined boots. The point is; I am no thug nor do I look like one. I watched 10 people go in before me and not one of them got treated like I did. Its no wonder this place is dying on the vine. This is how they treat their customers. I wont be back. In the end they let me in on this particular Friday night at 11 and the place was dead. Never again. Later Wild West!

First time country dancing! Had a blast and learned a lot of cool moves... couples dance competition was amazing!

Thursday night is $2.75 for me all night with jack and coke, $5 for guys to get in. Music is great, people are great, all around pretty good.

As an under 21, I appreciate there being a few places 5that will let me come, dance, and play pool, but the damce floor is a little small and the billiards equipment could use a revamp. Drinks arent too badly priced it seems, and overall very friendly staff. Owned by the same company as midnight rodeo, and I couldnt say e is better than the on
