Bartenders are fantastic! Great beer selection, awesome atmosphere, dog friendly! Spacious indoor and outdoor seating! Accessible to the bike trails of a nearby park! Love this place!

One of the friendliest bars I have ever been to , Mari and Savannah are the nicest bartenders Ive ever met , large selection of draft beer and liquor , patrons are friendly and easy going great atmosphere. Definitely will be back.

Glad I stopped by for some drinks as it was a nice low-key bar with nice prices on drinks.

Great place to hang out for drinks and sports pre pandemic. The bartenders are always on it, and take care of you to make sure your drinks are filled and you are having a great time. They have a lunch menu as well in the afternoon. Cant wait to get back over here once the pandemic is over.

Bartenders were cool and they had a basketball game so I was happy about that. But it was kinda dead and boring. They only have 1 pool table. Its ok but not for me.

Great place. Live dj that takes requests.punching bag machine, basketball throwing game. I heard about a beer pong table but didnt get a chance to play or see it. One pool table that takes a dollar in quarters. May want to bring your own cue.

Too smokey, despite having smokers outside, they open the up the outside to the inside and ruins it fir non-smokers. Would be great, if they just kept it separate

Best bar to watch football, they serve free BBQ for their guest the day I went. Coming into town from NC and just randomly pick this bar was a pleasant surprise!

Great place to get drunk. Had a great time!, lots of bar games to play for example pool, ring hook and a super duper large beer pong in the lower level deck /yard. excellent hang out with garage doors open and you can Vape inside perfect place for gatherings and celebrations

Very relaxing and the drinks are good.

The music is lame.. all the songs on the touchtunes are edited and the music is too low. As my friend said, Its like a damn cafeteria. All you hear is people talking. Drinks are a little pricey. Bartenders are nice though.

Pool table sucks. But they had live music that was really good. Bartenders were awesome besides one, but thats nothing new. They have a nice outside section with a big patio and games. They even have horse shoe. I could see myself going here again and would recommend to others.

The Bend Sports Bar is a neighborhood bar on the Northwest side of San Antonio. Good drink specials & plenty of screens, plus bar games & a ATM. I was there for a S.A. Commanders watch party. No kitchen, so free food was brought in for the party. If youre hungry, eat before or bring food from a nearby restaurant.

Friendly staff, good drinks, good live music.

Havent had a bad time yet there. I like their patio and how the bar is half way outside. Also have plenty of things to do as well, Jenga, darts, pool, trash can beer pong, TVs, and certain nights you get live music.

The Bend is a very friendly, chill Sports Bar on Bandera Road. Then people who work there are friendly and so is the clientele who frequent the bar. Thursdays feature Karaoke and the bar always has their big screen TV tuned to sports events. Ive held social events at this bar during the week because they are so accommodating. You can bring in your own food if you want as well. Theres a large deck outside for socializing during the warmer months. Drinks are.moderately priced. The only downside of those local bar is that there is no on site food. They have a food truck outside in the parking lot but this seems to only be available on Weekends. Theres a Tamale guy who comes into the bar selling tamales for $10 for a pack of 10. Theyre delicious! But he just wanders in whenever....so dont depend on that....still his are the best tamales in town! (No Im not affiliated with either the bar or the tamale guy! ) The bar owner is very nice to work with when arranging an event in the bar. I contacted her via the bar Facebook page and she was very helpful. Overall I love this place but the lack of food is the only reason Im giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

This is a great place to go relax with some friends. They have an awesome patio and great drink selection (with reasonable prices). Ive been there for a couple live bands, and they had a taco truck that was out at night. Overall a friendly place thats kept clean. I would suggest stopping by for a much needed drink at the end of the day or stopping by on the weekend.

Good bar to watch games if you can handle smoke. Smokers are officially outside but sitting at the bar and the smoke definitely carries throughout the building.

The atmosphere of the bar felt elegant but also laid back. The service was friendly and quick and there was an overall welcoming feeling. The restrooms as well as the rest of the bar were clean and tidy. There are a variety of drinks specials depending on the day, and they have very good craft beers on draft too!

Its always a good time here at the bend. Stopped in for a drink with my wife for her birthday. They had her favorite beer on tap (austin Eastcider Pineapple with chile around the rim) the bartenders were nice and very accommodating. Great place!

I bought a $9.00 pitcher for my friends and gave a $5.00 tip and I closed out. On my bank statement I was charged the above amount plus for another drink I did not buy. Since I dont drink it was easy to catch that so watch out people or you might end up getting your money stolen. My first time at this place.

Every time me and my boyfriend go to this bar and its been 4 times, we like to sit at the bar thats outside because I smoke and I think it great that there is one bar that allows it even though we are outside but every time we sit there, there is an issue first you cant sit at the first chair because someone won it in a raffle you can sit but when he gets here you have to move. RUDE. Second 2 t.v.s on baseball we asked if one could be on boxing and was told no the man next to us was watching both. And when he was done then she could change the channel. He wasnt even watching he was talking to other people. Both of us are Hispanic and its starting to look dangerously like discrimination so you tell me whats really going on.

Great local bar to have drinks! The drinks are reasonably priced. The patio is definitely nice too. The only down side is there isnt any food offered. Bar snacks like appetizers, chips and salsa would make this place so much better.

Great place to catch the game and a cold beer. They have plenty of seating and a huge projector screen. They even serve sausage and pepperoni pizza by the whole or slice and its not bad at all. Piping hot with a crisy crust. We got two whole pizzas and the waitress was really quick to serve us.

Whats great about The Bend is the atmoshere, music, and the outdoor games. What I love is how its on the bike trail. After my boyfriend and I get a off road bike ride in, we feel like we deserve to stop at The Bend for a cold beer.

1st time here liked the entertainment prices were reasonable nice place to hang out and have a couple of drinks.

This place has a true dive bar kind of feel. Lots of screens all over the place so you can find a sporting event that suites you. The bartender that was working the evening we went in was great. She bounced from the regulars to the first timers making sure everyone had what they needed. The whole time she was also stocking all the coolers in preparation for the busy times on the next shift. It was definitely a great place to wait out three traffic on our way to dinner.

My experience was horrible. Pool table had no sticks to go with it beer was warm. Service was horrible. The ladies behind the bar just sit around and talk unless they know you then u get decent service. Overpriced for the experience.

I like to come here because they usually have UFC fights for no cover charge. The drinks are not over priced and they have a pretty good food truck out front. They have plenty of tvs for sports, not a bad seat in the place. They even have a big screen on the back patio.

If youre looking for a cool patio sports bar thats not too crazy busy, then this is a good place to hang out. The service was pretty good here and theres usually live music on the weekends.

This place makes life miserable for everyone who lives in the neighborhood behind it. They have no respect for common sense noise ordinances. They play loud music outside when they should play loud music inside their building. We have families and children trying to sleep while the loud music often plays past 11 and beyond midnight. Please have some respect for the community and play loud music inside.
