Did an Axis hunt with these guys and we couldnt have had a better time. The accommodations were incredible and the guiding was even better. Great group of guys to take us on an fantastic hunt!

We booked a trip with desert safaris a year in advance put a 50% nonrefundable deposit up. Which was $6000. At the time they told my husband they recommend getting travel insurance on the trip because its nonrefundable. We ended up having to cancel and they didnt refund the deposit which wasnt surprising. What was surprising was they refused to send me any kind of confirmation of canceling the trip. I could only get a hold of him through text so I have all our text messages. He said he understood we had to cancel and things happen he would send me something saying when we canceled and that they didnt refund the deposit so I could finish the claim with the insurance. But he never when I ask multiple times he refused and said just have them call me, which they wouldnt then ignored me. Im so mad it would have took them 2 minutes to type something up saying we canceled and they refunded $0. The insurance wont cover with out it. I would not recommend this business. Im filing a claim with the BBB. So unnecessary.

My wife and I, along with my Aunt and Uncle, have enjoyed a hunt with Desert Safaris the past few years. Each experience has bern very enjoyable and very professionally run. We love the West Texas ranch that we hunt on. The hunting guide assigned to us was just fastastic! His knowledge of the ranch and the game we sought was impressive and the service he provided us was first class. In addition to the hunting, it was fantastic to return to deer camp after each outing to have a delicious assortment of cookies, pies, appetizers and a great meal prepared by the chef...my family plans on returning to the ranch as long as we are able.
