I brought my partner to Hopscotch for her birthday and we left with a sense of joy, wonder and satisfaction. The staff were fun, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable in all aspects of our visit. Our reservation check-in was quick, yet thorough as it included a temperature check and general information waiver pertaining to our visit.I wont spoil any of the 14 exhibits currently on hand other than to say that the quality of work put into each and every room is both inventive and exquisite.  During our visit our auditory and visual senses were treated to exhibits by artists both local and from around the world. The outdoor patio makes for a great place to share a meal, should you care to grab a bite at Smacks Chicken Shack which is the food truck located on-site or a beverage from the bar which features a wide array of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.Whether you are a fan of the arts, a family looking to enjoy their next big outing, or in search of a setting for your perfect date night, Hopscotch promises to deliver that and so much more.

We had a great time at Hopscotch. We took our kids - ages 3 and 5 - who loved it and wanted to spend more time in every room. We kept our masks on and they limited the number of people in each room. Everything felt clean and safe. We sat and had drinks outside afterward and it was a fun activity for the whole family. Love seeing experiences like this in San Antonio.

This place is a wonderland! It’s full of interactive exhibits from artists here locally to as far as Moscow and Barcelona! The staff are also super friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t recommend bringing children because it’s mainly geared towards adults but it is child friendly regardless. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who’s looking for something new and fun! Can’t wait to bring more friends in!

Hopscotch is a wonderful art museum located in downtown. Each exhibit is unique and most are interactive. My favorite room so far has got to be Infinity Mirrors. I really enjoy the option of being able to buy and walk around with drinks. It is 18+ after 7pm though, which is unique but makes sense. Totally recommend!

Hopscotch is such an amazing experience and a wonderful opportunity for local artists! I absolutely love this beautiful addition to downtown San Antonio! Each room has something unique to immersive yourself into. Sure it’s great for pictures, but really take a moment for yourself to appreciate the effort and thoughtfulness that goes into bringing these exhibits to life. It’s truly incredible how artists choose to communicate with the world and then allow us to interpret and interact in our own ways. I really appreciate what Hopscotch has put together here. The art, the staff, the food, bar... everything is just great!

Hopscotch is a wonderful interactive art gallery with an absolutely phenomenal location. Nestled right next to Travis Park in the heart of downtown San Antonio, there are plenty of exhibits for a variety of interests! Hopscotch hosts an array of local, national, and international pieces. I would definitely recommend for families, groups, and couples (amazing for date night!) Plus the drinks from the bar are tasty and super inexpensive.

An interesting interactive art place that is exactly what San Antonio needs! Even with Covid measures in place, it didn’t detriment from the experiences you’ll have here. Look at wonder at the walls while you sculpt your own pieces along with the exhibits, stop and admire the local artists’ talent displayed, and enjoy a refreshment or two at their lounge. A great beginning of local and international art and hope to see many more to come here!

Super cool place! We spent about an hour and a half here and enjoyed every minute. The bar has drinks that are inspired by the installations in the gallery, there are so many options to take photos, and the food truck’s food was so good!! My only complaint is when we went, it was extremely hot throughout the gallery. Other than that, I would highly recommend going here!!

I was told this was a must see when going to San Antonio, they were right! The vibes and attractions were on point. The staff is friendly. COVID safety taken very seriously but there is tons of room to social distance. You can tell they put a lot of thought into creating something special for the city. Not to mention it’s in the middle of everything. Very close to the river walk. Definitely recommend.

Hopscotch didnt disappoint. I was a great stop during our weekend in San Antonio. The location was great and the space was amazing! It was such a neat way to experience art our kids enjoyed it just as much as we did. The numbers were very low and we got to experience many of the exhibits with only one other couple/group.

I bought 4 tickets to this art exhibit 2children 2 adults for the 9:45 showing and they would not let us in because no children were allowed after 7:00. It did not say that on our tickets and we were allowed to purchase. I’m hoping this will be resolved soon.I am happy to let y’all know that they not only refunded my tickets they also gave us complimentary passes. So happy with the fast resolution and friendly customer service. Highly recommend you visit this exhibit before it’s gone!

Hopscotch is awesome and I had the best time! It is an immersive art experience and is super interactive. I loved the room that fully changes color all around you (great for selfies). There is also a dance room that I could have spent the whole day playing and jumping around in. Imagine a room full of secrets, virtual graffiti, wonder and awe. It’s all there and I wholeheartedly recommend! There is also a great lounge area and patio where one can hang out and enjoy a drink from the bar or delicious food from the on-site food truck. COVID-19 safety measures are in place and I felt completely safe. I’ll definitely be back.

This is a truly unique, fun and immersive experience for all. I went with my wife thinking we would be there for 30 minutes and 3 hours and some new friends later we were on the patio drinking cocktails outside a food truck. The prices are super reasonable for an experience you literally can not get anywhere else. The highest praise for Hopscotch!

Was absolutely surprised at how well done this was. Like for an old bank basement they really turned it into something far out there. The atmosphere and vibe screams San Antonio, like real San Antonio, like breakfast tacos and two guys holding a couch in the back of a truck driving 75 mph on 35 San Antonio.Every wall in here has something different. The details are truly my favorite thing Hopscotch absolutely nailed, like the butt in the stairwell or the vault door still installed in the basement. The prices are responsible for downtown. The semi-permanent food truck and bar had enough to interest me. I highly suggest getting a bite to eat there if you can, But the portions are massive so its a good sharing meal. Its an awesome first date place. Take your partners here and take some pics for the gram!Ill also add here the gift shop is leaps and bounds above places like Meow Wolf. Recently had some friends go to Area 15 in Las Vegas and say pretty much everything was leading them to the gift shop, where it was just a lot of Meow Wolf merchandise. I really feel like whoever put this place together took a real effort and finding out what people in San Antonio actually like. The King George painting for example, I need it. Sadly my wallet cannot afford it. But much like the experience itself, everything says San Antonio or South Texas. Yes theres Hopscotch branded stuff too but it doesnt feel like thats the center of the whole experience.

We really enjoyed the exhibitions and the establishment is very clean and follows social distancing.Sadly, when we came in and asked a person from the staff of where we parked was the complimentary parking they said yes but turns out it wasn’t and we got an $85 parking ticket. It seems staff isn’t trained well and gives out incorrect information that can really affect the visitors.

I mistook this for an art gallery. It’s more akin to the Color Factory - entertainment over art. The two more serious pieces were not enough to redeem overall fun house aesthetic of the place. Also - for the time of COVID - unmasked drinking and selfie taking is everywhere (indoors in a dark underground space) and distance is not respected.

Loved the interactive experience but if youre concerned about covid I wouldnt recommend. Their website says that theyre following CDC guidelines and masks are mandatory but a handful of people were not wearing masks and staff werent asking them to mask up either. One of the staff members was taking a picture of a whole group not wearing masks for them. Lack of safety precautions aside, the art was a amazing.

This is the first review I have ever written on anything in my life, which should say a lot. This is the WORST art exhibit I have ever been to. It is extremely overated and pricey. It felt like a bunch of poorly orchestrated carnival sideshows. DO NOT waste your time or money here. They let too many people in so most of your time here is spent waiting in lines to experience each exhibit. We also felt like we were being baby sat by staff the entire time. Everytime I would sip my drink, an employee would tell me to put my mask on. How can I drink the drink you just sold me with my mask on. It is really just a place to take trendy pictures for social media. This place is a complete joke.

This place was honestly a waste of money and truly overrated. There were only a few exhibits open and not worth the ticket price. This exhibit is pretty cool and interactive. Its moderate in size making it not overwhelming. It was somewhere around 10 exhibits, more or less, and took us about one hour to get through as a group of 6. They also validate your parking if you park in the Travis parking garage which is great bc it wouldve been 12$ otherwise. The museum has great Covid precautions which is awesome bc i didnt feel overly crowded and i was also able to have a more interactive experience bc of it. My favorite room has to be the chromotherapy room where they use light and some soft music to get those chakras aligned. Each exhibit houses a personnel to oversee the room. And for the most part, everyone is very nice and helps explain to you how the art installation works. One employee was not, she was very rude which was in my initial review but i updated it after the manager quickly reached out about it. Always a huge redeeming factor for a bad experience. Overall, its a must-try at least once with your friends. Especially when its located in such a great area of downtown San antonio, we were able to further enjoy the area and do other stuff nearby like try out all the nearby yummy restaurants!! :)
