Beautiful space - perfect collections of art and education. Lovely up and coming area with walkable spaces. The owners are really cool folks.

Very cool atmosphere all around. Went during an Art street fair and all the colors, sounds, people, and good vibes made this a great spot to be at. 10/10 would definitely go back again. Maybe have a poetry event there at some point.

Great ambiance, great food, and great service (considering there was only one waitress). I would have rated this place 5 stars however, due to the lack of staffing it took awhile for my order to be placed and be brought out.

One of the best galleries to shop for art. It has a very upscale interior and great studios and smaller galleries surrounding it. There is parking in the back too. Also has a cafe and Ramen restaurant.

Freight is a great gallery that exhibits a wide variety of styles and subjects in contemporary art.In the front of the gallery is a fantastic coffee shop called Gold, and a ramen shop called Kimura.

Very nice venue for my friends wedding. The staff was very nice and did a great job keeping the place clean and tidy during the event.

The food was amazing, staff was nice, and the space is beautiful. It feels a tad unfinished, like the menu isnt quite clicking yet, but I highly recommend it. Hidden gem in the area! And again, try the ramen. It was excellent.

Wow! I thought I loved this place when it was Joe Lopez Gallista Gallery, but now... the whole schematic shift just amps up the talent showcases. Very clean. Polished. Smart space definition. Very appealing... and yet...I still have a nostalgia for easy comfort of the Gallista days. Joe was open to having everyone come in and do his/her thing: music, art, poetry, fundraisers, and theater collaborations. Heck, we could just sit around drinking soda and jaw about the Spurs. I guess I really did love the Gallista Gallery, huh? Freight is outstanding and not to be missed. Free parking out back. ADA compliant. Having Kimura out front is pretty forward, too.

Tried ramen here for the first time the staff was short handed there were only two people but they pulled through & you could really tell how hard they were working to make everyone happy & the art set up was amazing but the over all feel of the restaurant was very mellow & chill felt like home I see potential in the growth in this restaurant & I will be going back very soon & please if you can get the grilled bok choy with black garlic sauce it’s to die for!!!
